Not as close to the train station as others. Walk to hotel the neighborhood is not the best but never afraid. Hotel was great for the price.

Our room was in a very good condition, comfortable bed, and a nice small room as closet and a bar , a big and clean bathroom.. happy and nice atmosphere at the restaurant and the bar of the hotel. in addition it was close to the center and the main station.

Nice hotel for the price. The staff was pleasant, courteous, and helpful. The hotel room I was in was clean , equipped, and updated, although samll in size. If your room faces the busy street, expect it to be a little noisy from the passing traffic and emergency vehicles. The location is convenient, and within walking distance to the city center and the main train station where you can catch the S-bahn and U-bahn.

Read reviews about train noise. You really have to pay attention to hear it. Rooms were small but that's what I expected in Europe. Rooms were very clean and comfortable which out weighs any short comings you might think of.I would definitely stay there again without hesitation. The staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is down a very quiet side street but close to downtown. Parking is free and secure. Staff were friendly.

Exellent Hotel situated well to see all that is Hamburg

Boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel to see the Xmas markets. The hotel is about 8mins walk away from the main shopping area (and train station) so it was rather easy to get to the them. The hotel is quite nice but I'm not quite so sure it's a 4-star. Rooms are rather small but adequate for a short stay. I was impressed with the bathroom - it seemed to be quite shiny and new! You can hear the trains passing beneath the hotel but earplugs can sort that out easily. My boyfriend, on the other hand, is a heavy sleeper so didnt notice it at all. The hotel has a lovely bar on the ground floor decorated in the style of a ship with prices on a par with any other bar in the city. I would not hesitate to recommend it (or stay again)as this is a conveniently located hotel at a reasonable price.

The hotel was modern and tastefully decorated. The rooms were of a decent size and the bathroom was small but well appointed. The hotel was very well kept and looked like it had been recently renovated. The staff were friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was excellent and you could eat as much as you liked from the varied buffet. It was also situated very close to the edge of the city and very close to the main railway station. I would recommened this hotel and I would stay there myself in the future

for the price we paid, we cannot complain - room was comfortable and everything worked and staff were courteous; it's a bit close to one of hamburg's red light districts but we knew that in advance and just took care when we went out in the evening. otherwise the location is good; easy walking to the alster lake and loads of great restaurants nearby along lange reine (10 mins walk away)

All in all a pretty good stay and I'd say it was definitely value for money. Though our room was very small, the layout was great. The bed was comfy and I loved the complete blackout curtains. Unfortunately, the aircon was quite noisy and I would have given anything for some tea and coffee making facilities! The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful. The location is excellent, only a two minute walk from the bus station and a five minute walk from the train station. The only problem we had with this hotel was our room was quite small, nothing like the ones advertised and also on a night the room was very warm, we had to open the windows, which then let in the noise from the main road. Overall, for what we paid and for the good standard of this hotel, we can't complain.

This hotel is located five minutes from the central station. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff are very helpful. Although the bar isn't open to residents very late, which was surprising.

The actual hotel itself is very nice. It is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the room was a good size. The location of the hotel, however, was less than desirable. While it is only a short walk to the central train station it is not a family environment (many "working girls" around).

the room was clean so was the bathroom, only problem was that all rooms had recently fitted higher security doors that were not properly finished off has there been a problem with theft in the past from rooms??

Hotel is situated near the main railway station and local shopping centre. Also near to the Alster and local restuarants and bars! Hotel cleanliness was excellent!

I traveled with my infant son for a three day stay in Hamburg. The first room they put me in looked more like a small hospital room than a hotel room, and because I needed a crib for my son, I was moved to another room with enough space for the crib. That's fine, and the staff was friendly and the room was clean. I have to say though, that I was expecting breakfast to be included (it wasn't -- my fault -- I guess I misread something), but what I found truly offensive was that they now, at a 4-star hotel, expect you to pay for even the basic television viewing that comes standard everywhere else I've stayed. Not that I would have been glued to the thing, but, please, that's just insulting, especially on top of the price I was already paying.

Excellent service, convenient, good food, professional staff

This hotel was located near the U-Bahn station, so accessible to all of Hamburg. It was clean and efficient. Pretty cramped though for those of us from the US that are used to being able to walk around the bed. The bathroom was very tight, although it had everything you needed. You could hear the underground railway, muffled during the night-which was kind of nice. The staff was helpful and the restaurant was outstanding. The buffets for breakfast and dinner were fantastic-actually the best part of the stay. It would be harder to stay longer than a few nights.

Ich kann dieses Hotel in Hamburg nur wärmstens empfehlen, es ist ungefär 300m vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt, die Zimmer sind einfach TOP und auch das Personal ist stehts bemüht. Eine super Unterkunft für einen guten Preis!

Ikke veldig spennende, men akseptabelt, og ikke alt for dyrt, selv når man regner inn frokosten. Litt for parfymert baderom og litt mye kjemisk lukt av sengetøy og håndklær ga et litt sterilt og kunstig preg.

Service und Sauberkeit war exzellent. Störend ist nur der Vekehrslärm.

Utrolig flott hotell! Mye bedre enn vi hadde sett for oss. Hotellet var veldig fint, rommene store, sengen kjempegod, og veldig bra service. Kan absolutt anbefale dette hotellet!

Dejligt hotel, med god morgenmadsbuffet.

Fik ikke det værelse jeg havde bestilt og betalt for. Portieren var uforstående og nærmest ligeglad med forholdene omkring bestilling. Blev flyttet til dobbeltværelse og denne gang uden aircondition. Bestemt ikke hvad jeg havde forventet. Absolut rent og rimeligt velholdt, men bærer præg af at være et ældre hotel. Man bemærker undergrundsbanen regelmæssigt.

Hotellet havde en dejlig central beliggenhed, med under en kilometer til hovedbanegården og gågaden. Servicen kunne der heller ikke klages over, der var altid rent efter roomservice og personalet i receptionen var altid villige og klar til at hjælpe. Hvis man har intentioner om at udforske Hamburgs natteliv er dette også muligt i gå-afstand, men hvis man virkelig vil opleve noget skal man tage til Reeperbahn hvor der er gang i den alle ugens dage. For at komme til Reeperbahn køster det cirka 10 euro med Taxi eller man kan tage med S-toget som også kører derhen.

Et godt og pænt hotel som ligger i gåafstand til midtbyen og et godt udganspunkt for sightseing i Hamburg. Værelserne er store med pæne badeværelser og derudover var der den lille, men behagelige detalje, at der hver morgen blev leveret en frisk morgenavis (Die Welt). Omgivelserne er forholdsvis rolige dog med den støj man kan forvente i en storby. Dog kan man forvente lidt larm fra købmanden på hjørnet af Adenauerallé og Pulverteich, som er mødested for lokale om aftenen. De går dog hjem klokken 22:30 hver dag :-). Vi kan helt sikkert anbefale hotellet og vil selv benytte igen.

Fin beliggenhed ifht. banegården. Pæne rene værelser og god og omhyggelig service. Dog var vi skuffede over morgenmads buffeten - vi ankom godt nok lidt sent, kl. 9.45 - men maden blev fjernet inden vi var færdige, og vi måtte skynde os, at redde et par rundstykker og en frugtsalat inden det forsvandt helt.

Zimmer befanden sich im ersten Stock Klimageräte von Konfrenzraum und Küche dirket vor den Fenstern mit entsprechender Geräuchkulisse Geräuche der U-Bahn dirket unter Hotel waren nicht störend. Würde Hotel wegen zentraler Lage wieder buchen. Personal und Service gut. Frühstücksbüffet und Abendbüffet sehr reichhaltig.

Hotel St. Raphael ligger i kvarter præget af ro. Gå-afstand til byen og med købmand lige overfor Når vi entrer Hotel St. Raphael kommer vi ind i en tryg atmosfære præger af ro. Omgivelserne emmer af orden og renhed; velkomsten imødekommende og venlig. De praktiske informationer er fyldestgørende og for 8 euro kan bilen parkeres i en lukket gård. Værelset var funktionelt og meget rent. Der var ingen nævneværdig støj. For 14 euro pr. person tilbyder hotellet morgenmad/brunch. Igen meget velorganiseret, rent og velassorteret. En god oplevelse og en rigtig god begyndelse på en ny dag.

Meget kedeligt værelse. Natlamper kunne oplyse en hel badmintonhal, man kunne kun tænde tre ad gangen). Ingen forsøg på at gøre værelse hyggeligt.Lå i et kedeligt kvarter. Kunne hører undergrundsbane. Personale gjorde det de skulle, men ingen ekstra service (f.eks. smil). Gratis internet i lobby var rigtig godt. Kommer helt sikkert ikke tilbage.

Hotellet er i en særdeles god standard - i forhold til prisen. Vi har nu benyttet dette hotel 2 gange til en familie påsketur - morgen buffet er særdeles god.

Personalet var hele vejen rundt venlige, imødekommende. God beliggenhed i forhold til både gang og U-bahn. Rent, velholdt og velfungerende hotel.

Die U1 fährt direkt unter dem Hotel durch und stört etwas wenig.

Schönes Hotel - sehr zentral gelegen, nahe des Hauptbahnhof Süd, welcher sehr gut mit U-/S-Bahn-Linien erschlossen ist. Wir hatten ein 3-Bett-Zimmer, welches sehr komfortabel, gross und schön war. Jeden Abend ein neues "Betthüpferli" auf dem Kopfkissen- was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Haben das Hotel ohne Frühstück gebucht - haben jeweils auswärts gefrühstückt, was sich sehr gelohnt hat. Beim nächsten Hamburg-Aufenthalt werden wir bestimmt wieder in diesem Hotel wohnen - sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr gutes, sauberes Hotel, das auch zu Fuß vom Bahnhof in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet läßt keine Wünsche offen. Würde jederzeit wieder dort einchecken.

Sehr zentrale Lage, bei der hervorzuheben ist, dass ein hoteleigener Parkplatz zur Verfügung steht (gegen Gebühr). Das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent. Das Hotel im ganzen war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Leider war unser Doppelzimmer für zwei Personen doch etwas zu klein. Ebenso kritisieren wir den sehr hohen Frühstückspreis, sowie die U-Bahngeräusche, die wir bis in die 4. Etage wahr genommen haben. Die Lage des Hotels macht dies aber wieder wett. Der Aufenthalt war trotzdem sehr angenehm und wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen. Möglichkeiten zum Frühstücken gibt es preiswerter und gut in der unmittelbaren Nähe.

Bokade något av de billigaste hotellen jag kunde hitta och blev väldigt positivt överraskad. Rummen otroligt fräscha och fina, personalen tillmötesgående och kunnig. Dessutom har hotellet en jättefin bastu och relaxavdelning, med lite träningsmaskiner.
