Todos los hoteles en Trocadero (16)"Pretty good deal"

The hotel was located about 100m from a metro station. There was a bank with an ATM next to the hotel and a supermarket across the street which were very convenient. The rooms were a little small but about what I expected and the service was good. They helped me call for a taxi when I wanted to go the airport. The hotel is right off the Champs Elysees and there are many restaurants within walking distance. With the metro so close, anyplace in Paris in not that far away. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is not great, but not so bad. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, we were placed on the 1st floor (according to european system) overlooking the main street. It was actually pleasant and once the windows were closed, you could barely hear the street noise. My one complain was smoking. This hotel is suppose to be non-smoking, but everytime we stepped into the hallway it would smell of smoke. We were reassured that we were on a non-smoking floor, but there was no way it was non-smoking. Also this hotel is suppose to be air conditioned, but the thermostat was broken. When we got to our room, we began using the thermostat to cool the room down, but instead all we got was hot air. I would advise future people staying at this hotel to stay in the room to the right of elevator towards the end of the hallway. That room is slighty bigger and cleaner and with an upgraded thermostat that works. The hotel location is close to the metro where you can line 1 so getting to major attraction is few stops away.

This was a good all-around hotel. I didn't have any significant complaints. Here are the pluses: -- Very convenient to the Arc of Triumph, Champs Elysee, metro, airport shuttle service, and local restaurants, plus there was a grocery store right across the street. -- Well air-conditioned. The temperature seemed to regulate itself perfectly as we didn't even need to even change the dial during our 3 nights. -- Free wifi and Internet access. There's a free laptop available in the lobby if you don't have one. -- They'll hold your luggage for you after you check out. -- Small refrigerator in your room. -- The window drapes are nice. -- Nice and quiet (except for an occasional door opening and closing abruptly right outside the room). I'll also list some very minor negatives just because I love to do it: -- The continental breakfast was 14 Euros and they stock your refrigerator with overpriced drinks, hoping that you'll be too thirsty to look elsewhere. -- Beds are a little spartan and stiff. Could have used a fluffier pillow and another blanket option or cover sheet. -- Some of the cable TV stations have poor reception. -- The front desk attendants could have been a little warmer and provide more specific instructions about how to find a recommended restaurant (ie: name and address, not just an approximate location on a map) -- The Internet connection is a little slow. -- The shower and sink controls seem a little alien at first for those from the US. -- Wanted separate soap for the shower, not just for the sink. Some napkins or paper towels in the room for eating/ drinking would have been nice too.

The location is great with plenty of good restaurants and cafes located within a walking distance. The rooms were clean, except for the shower curtain that needed to be changed. The bathroom is rather small and the toilet is right next to the shower and not much room to move around. Overall great deal for the price paid given all the pros, mainly the location. If you are traveling with toddler you might want to consider a hotel with room service as it might be convenient, however there is a supermarket across from the hotel and so many other places nearby you can buy anything you need and was turned out to be not that much of an issue for us. All in all, for a two night stay, this hotel worked great for us.

This hotel is strategically placed, very close to the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower. The staff is cordial and very friendly and the rooms quiet and clean. I would certainly recommend it to all my friends.

I spent the week in this hotel as part of a vacation/work while attending a conference at the nearby Palais des Congress. Very comfortable, nice windows, great bathroom, exceptional price with free internet access. All the receptionists spoke English well and were exceptionally courteous. The bed was a bit hard for me, but I'm used to sleeping on a foam mattress and have been spoiled over time. Overall, made my Paris experience great. Additional bonuses were being within walking distance of a nearby bakery, grocery store, restaurants, and the metro.

we recently returned from a two week trip to France. It was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel staff Laetitia, Marie Jimmy and Osama were courteous and professional at all times. Very helpful in telling us areas to go to or even how to purchase a calling card to call to the States. All the staff at the front desk spoke English and many other languages. The location was great., short walk to The Arc de Triomphe and maybe 25min walk to the Eiffel Tower. My daughter loved that. We went to the Eiffel Tower three times. I would definitely recommend thisplace, The elevators were on the small side but otherwise tres bien.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it was just renovated, clean, staff was nice and helpful. Location is amazing, lots of restaurant and coffee shops around and a modern, delicatessen store just opened across the street with amazing food. Absolutely loved this hotel, definitely will go back.

Very happy with this hotel, clean and excellent service. Front desk staff was incredibly helpful with a number of things and always happy to speaking English. It was expensive and room was small, but I think that was too be expected in Paris.

We recently visited Paris, London, Rome, Venice, Munich, and Amsterdam and I found finding a reasonably-priced hotel in Paris the most challenging. This hotel was an adequate answer to the problem. The room wasn't much bigger than the bed and the bathroom was bigger than what you'd see on a train, but not much. Location was good for the Arc de Triumph and not far from a subway station for the rest of Paris. Bed was firm as is standard in Europe and ice was scarce, as is also standard in Europe. Overall it was a decent place for a short-term stay. They did provide free use of a hotel laptop and internet connection upon request at the front desk, which was nice. However, the keyboard wasn't a standard QWERTY keyboard, so that took some getting used to.

Our flight was early but the staff was very helpful and let us store our luggage and get into the room early. Receptionist also helped me find access to the Internet for a reasonable price and booked our reservations for the Moulin Rouge.

This hotel had a great location. We could walk to the Arch of Triumph in about 10 minutes. The hotel employees were very friendly. The hotel offered a buffet on its lower level . It was a bit pricey (14 euros/pp). But the food was more than adequate. We did have one "minor" problem. A new maid forgot to clean our room. After along day of walking, this was a bit annoying. We voiced our complaint. The room was clean after we came back from dinner. The hotel gave us a free breakfast to make up for it. As we were leaving, we had scheduled a shuttle service to take us to the airport. We the company called and said they were suck in traffic accident and could not pick us up in time to make our flight. Also there was taxi strike going on that day. The front desk person Marie immediately got on the telephone and called a friend who ran a shuttle service. without us asking for help. We were picked up and was able to make our flight. That's service! All in all our stay there was very good. Especially for the price!

This Best Western was right off of the 1 line of the Metro, and just around the block from a stunning view of the Arc de Triomphe! It was then about a 4 block walk to the Arc, where we started our next morning with a leisurely stroll down the Champs Elysees. I consider this hotel the perfect starting point for a trip to Paris. The hotel was very clean, and upon arrival we were greeted very politely. Unfortunately my main concern was that the man at the desk did not speak very good English at all, and since we only stayed for 1 night, he was there in the morning as well for check out. We had booked on Hotels.com and pre-paid, but he tried to charge us again and did not understand when we said no. Luckily, and all travellers should take this advice, I had all necessary papers for any hotel, flight, train, etc so I showed him that we had paid and everything was good. The room was just enough for two people, very clean, with a nice flat screen TV, and the bathroom included a tub and shower, which is not common in most European hotel rooms. One snag was that we could not get the lights to work in the room and found out that we had to stick our electronic room key into a slot above the light to activate it - no big deal just much different that anything we are used to. We were up too early for breakfast (starts at 8:00 or 8:30) so I can not speak to that - although I do know that it is not complimentary, and I think it is around 10 Euros per person. This was a pleasant spot to rest (you are not going to be in the room much anyways in Paris right?), very clean, and I would definitely stay here again.
