The location of this hotel was great. It is only a 15 minute to central station. There is even a tram stop right across from the entrance of hotel. The room was big. Having booked a triple, we expected a cramped space. We were very pleasantly surprised to see 3 twin beds with lots of space in between the beds. Quiet location, near transportation and good service.

The room size was what we are use to in the states. Also the beds were good size. Buffet was delicious.

After traveling thru different countries it was a welcome suprise. Nice size room, nice size bed,great shower,great breakfast buffet. Just walked a couple blocks from the rail station and there it was.

Stayed at a Superior Double Room for 4 nights on mid-May 2009: (i) Pleasant location, a 10 minutes walk to Rotterdam Central Train station (ii) Clean and large room (iii) Good service and friendly staff, promptly replace a malfunction water boiler within 5 minutes (iv) Great buffet breakfast, with youghurt, cheese, bread, coffee, tea, smoked salmon, BBQ beef and fruits etc.

Lobby was nice as was the bar and breakfast area. The rooms were nothing special and were 3 star at best. The windows could not be latched closed, the shower was dirty with hairs on the shower walls, and the TV service was poor. The dish or signal was not clear as several stations experienced poor receoption. The front desk at check in and check out was great, friendly and no problems. A note for C/C travelers, very few taxis take credit cards of any kind. Even though the front desk called specifically for a taxi that accepts C/C, the driver did not want to take a C/C until I informed him that was his only choice. He suddenly produced the C/C imprint device and took my card while grumbing in Dutch.

Hotel overall was ok, but my single-room was in really terrible condition. So far, so clean, bathroom was clean, but the main room needs serious refurbishment. Therefore didn't really feel comfortable in my room. But since I arrived quite late, I did not ask reception to change the room. So can't say, how other rooms look like.

Vriendelijk ontvangst, kamer groot genoeg en comfortabel, goed ontbijt. Maar waarom hebben tweepersoonskamers altijd maar één stoel?

Minden szolgáltatással meg voltunk elégedve. Kedves a személyzet, és szép tiszta a szálloda. Tíz perces sétával elérhető a belváros.

nous avons eu un bon séjour, le seule petit problème est le passage de femmes de menages , qui frappent toutes les portes et réveillent tout le monde.

Wij zijn 1 nachtje geweest tijdens zomercarnaval. Prima kamer, prima locatie alleen HEEEEEEL erg gehorig. Wij zaten in het voorste stuk (misschien is het nieuwere gedeelte niet gehorig?!) en ik kon horen wat de buren letterlijk zeiden. Dat vind ik niet normaal....verder heerlijke bedden, prima schone badkamer en goede locatie. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt.

Hotellet var helt greit. Frokosten var OK, og rommet bra. Gangavstand til jernbanestasjon og sentrum. De hadde rotet litt, både med reservasjonen (antall personer) og med oppgjøret av hotellrommet, men dette ble forholdsvis kjapt håndtert av serviceinnstilt peronale..

Sans être un palace, le Crown Hotel est tout de même un hotel 4 étoiles. Et lorsque vous demandez à ce que l'on vous monte votre petit déjeuner dans votre chambre, on vous demande de venir vous servir en salle de restaurant! Alors, quel intérêt de prendre son petit déjeuner dans sa chambre? Ou est passé le service 4 étoiles? Il a disparu en même temps que mon pourboire 4 étoiles...
