great room. very very clean only 2 minutes from JFK and the breakfast was gud too. very nice girl on reception gud customer service skills. we will be back next year

the hotel was clean and of a good standard and i would definatly stay there again if i wished to be so close to the airport.. bit far from manhattan but you cant have it always.

Best Western and its neighboring Inn share the same design, with small lobby actually the 2nd floor. We were placed on the first floor, actually a basement without windows and with serious sewage backup. No one was on duty during the night as sewage flowed, and the young receptionist was disinterested in our complaints before we left for JFK the next morning. We tried neighbor on our return flight layover, but it is much the same. Next time, we will cross the expressway.

Shuttle service was quick & convenient FREE breakfast was way better than expected Beds very comfortable not the greatest of neighborhoods---but security guard on duty VERY good value

I stayed at this hotel twice, once going and once coming from Europe as it was close to JFK. I found the hotel to be in good shape, decent breakfast, rooms were clean for the most part, although it hadn't been dusted inside the night stand next to the bed. In the mornings (6AM) it was noisy with people coming and going. This may have been just because we were on the first floor. Next time I would ask for a third floor room, but I would stay again.

You need another elevator. Convenience to airport a big plus. Our TV didn't work & when it was reported, the desk clerk told us to bang on it. We did that but it just kept fading in & out. You need new TV's.

The location to other places was sparse, but the room was nice, comfy, and the bathroom was big enough for me and a friend to get ready in the morning. The ease of getting to the hotel from Manhattan was simple, quick, and the hotel tram picked us up and took us to the airport. Will be back again!

Make no mistake about this hotel..its not here to cater to an extended stay in NY. If you need a conveniant place to stay close to the airport or Brooklyn Cruise terminal (as in our case) its the golden ticket. They offer a free an easy shuttle from JFK to the airport that takes 5 minutes. We came in on a redeye and had about 8 hours to kill before our cruise...this turned out to be the perfect place to do so. Clean room, bed, included breakfast as well. Just don't come here and expect to enjoy the surrounding area ..it is not nice.

Hotel was conveniently located near the airport and shuttle service was prompt and efficient (and free). Room was clean and service was good. No restaurant in the hotel, but they have info on local restaurants which deliver for free. Free breakfast was good. Hotel is showing its age somewhat, but not bad. I would stay there again. Recommend for any overnight stay if you need to be near JFK.

My room smelled like mold the ac didn't work correctly and the water in the shower never got past lukewarm. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend it and definitely won't go back

Clean, neat and quiet. The free shuttle makes this a good choice. I'm glad I had made reservations online as I saw people trying to get a room as a walk in but the hotel was fully booked. Will stay there again on my next trip to NY.

They do not give you enough towels, no washcoths. The towels are also too thin. The room is very tiny you can hardly move around if you have any luggage in there. However, the convenience and quality of the breakfast is adequate for it's purpose.

Best Western Kennedy Airport was "A Home Away from Home" for us. The room was very cozy, room service was great, full complimentary breakfast was an added feature much appreciated and high speed internet in our room made our stay just right.

I stayed in the hotel for one night, but during the couple of hours that I stayed there, I the front-desk staff very friendly and helpful, room was beautiful and clean with everything in it, the breakfast bar was full of varieties. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel. And oh actually this hotel was recomended to me by a couple of friends, so I decided to try it and will come back again.

The hotel was a great value and very clean. Location was 2 minutes from JFK. I would recommend highly.

It was a nice hotel......room was kinda small & had a kingsize bed & it took up most of room space. The free breakfast was very good. I feel the site should put a little more info for the location, cause if you don't know the area you can miss the hotel. Overall it was a good stay.

This hotel is conveniently located near JFK that's the only reason we choose to stay there. There isnt any restaurants or stores in the area just hways. The carpet in the elevator needs to be vaccumed and shampooed. We had a king size bed in the room and a chair but we could not use the chair because the room was too small to place the chair and to use it properly. Beside that it was ok.

Hotel was good value for your money, parking is a problem in the area so be careful if you are driving in late night. There are way less parking spots in the comparison to number of rooms

There is no shuttle to and from Kennedy Airport which makes this hotel unacceptable.

It was better than I had expected. But the area of the hotel was not that great. I will stay there again. The rooms were clean and overall it was a pretty decent place.

For the convenience, money, and easy access to JFK, this is a great option for travelers. The front desk staff, maid service, and shuttle drivers were so polite, helpful, and accommodating. They understand customer service. Although the room was small, it had a large, comfortable king bed, plenty of soft pillow, a desk, coffee maker, and free internet. The breakfast buffet is an added bonus. When traveling in/out of JFK, I'll stay here again.

The room was OK, clean, very comfortable beds. Neighborhood not so great, but if you are there for airport business, it's adequate. Two minor issues: First, we reserved the room as 3 adults, and paid in advance, including a charge for an extra adult, yet the room (2 double beds) only had towels for 2 people, and we needed to go down to pick up the third set (we did not realize it up front, and needed to do it in the morning, at a rush time). Second, the shuttle was going only once an hour, which did not afford us the best service.

You'll sleep well at the Best Western at JFK. We arrived from a long transatlantic flight (that's the only kind that there are -- long ones) and had a good night's sleep. There's free internet, breakfast and transportation to JFK Airport.

I had to take a 6 am flight to JFK for a lunchtime meeting, getting in a little after seven am with six hours to kill. I took a taxi to the hotel (the taxi got lost) and figured sitting in the lobby would be more comfortable than sitting at the airport. Not only were they able to give me an early check-in so I could take a much-needed nap, but the lovely young woman at the desk told me to help myself to the continental breakfast. It made a very short, stressful trip so much better! The room was small but clean and quiet, the shuttle was prompt, and the service excellent!

It is conveniently located by JFK with a great & timely shuttle service. The front desk staff was courteous and very helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was delicious!

rooms are small, and area not the greatest, but close to airport, bed was very comfortable, hotel was clean, free breakfast was good.

The Best Western is one of the better hotels in the JFK/Jamaica area. I've stayed several times. It is clean with a friendly staff. Considering that most hotels in the area average well over $100 a night, this one is a bargain!

Friendly staff, room small, but comfortable bed, and very clean. Free breakfast was pretty good, and multiple items to choose from.

It was a good choice for a good night's sleep before an early morning flight. They accommodated my request for a quieter room; complimentary shuttle was direct to the terminal, and allowed plenty of time for check-in. The price was right for the accommodations provided.

The room was clean, the front desk agent was very nice and helpful. The only warning is this hotel is tricky for a cab driver to find so get clear directions. The shuttle only runs once an hour so you will probably need a short cab ride.

We arrived late after midnight. The customer service was very helpful. I asked to changed to a quieter room due to my hypersensitive hearing. And he was very courteous and happy to exchange for us another room. I had a very good night sleep. I was very please with his service. It was nice to have breakfast right there in an early cold winter morning. We would come back again if we need to be in the area. Thank you very much for your great service!

Clean room and convenient location. Nothing to complain.

...and location. Small and in seedy area, but seemingly safe. Not for family vacation, but fine for biz traveler looking to be near JFK. Free breakfast in morning was nicer than mere continental. No free paper however.

Needs improvements

We needed a hotel close to Queens for a funeral we attended. It was clean, but very small room. No microwave for my popcorn but...we only stayed one night so...it was ok. No plane noise but found it hard to find location. Tucked away a little.

They placed me in a room that was directly in front of the business Office/exercise room that had the ice machine right next to it. If I wasn't hearing the door slamming from people going into the business office at all hours, I was hearing people going for ice at 4:30 in the morning. When I asked to moved to another room, they told me that they were booked solid through the weekend. The worst 2 days I've ever had at this location. "Never again."

hotel room was very cold; inadequate heating for sub zero weather. near airport. 24 hour shuttle; ok for short stay. receptionist very friendly.

Easy access from JFK airport (free shuttle bus waiting at Federal Circle airtrai stop), clean, neat, comfortable room, excellent free wireless, efficient and courteous desk clerk, breakfast included, experience is a cut above the usual low-priced airport hotel. No onsite restaurants... but they will supply menus to order out... and that worked just fine. I've stayed here twice now and would certainly stay again.
