great location. helpful staff. bit noisy but not overwhelming as others.

This hotel was great by value and location. Walking distance to major sight-seeing. However, it does not have air conditioning, so the hot weeks in the summer are miserably hot. The windows must be open, but the hotel is located on a major intersection so there's a lot of road/rail noise, making it hard to sleep.

The room was clean and nice. However, being on the top floor in Aug with no AC was uncomfortable. In addition, we thought that on site parking was available. It was not on site and more expensive than the parking garage 1/2 a block away. We were told breakfast time when we checked in, but not that it would be an additional 10 euro each. Knowing up front that it was extra would have been appreciated.

Only drawback was the lack of air conditioning although a fan was provided. Made it difficult to sleep when warm.

The hotel is on a busy corner but the Staff did a wonderful job of giving us recommendations on how to combat the noise. we were told to shut the windows but were given a fan to keep us cool! The room was incrediblly spacious and modern. It was also directly across from the start of the "Old Town" which was convienent for sight seeing. However, it was about a 10 minute walk from the train station, which felt longer when toting luggage.

Hotel was in the middle of the buzz (to include the noise). It was comfortable and clean. The friendly staff welcomed us with champagne. No parking in from of the hotel at all. Staff was very kind in trying to get us a spot in a nearby parking garage. WE ended up parking on the street as the local meters stopped at 2pm on Sat.

The hotel is nice and located right accross the street from the main shopping center in town. It took us about 15 minutes to walk from the train staion.

A hotel where all the staff are doing vocational training, guarantees great service. Room are large, modern, spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Located in the heart of the city.

I was very pleased with every aspect of my stay at this hotel. The room was a nice size (compared to my friend's who was staying at a different hotel). It was super clean. The hotel had recently undergone a renovation so everything is new. I was also pleasantly surprised that wi-fi and lan connections were FREE. That's highly unusual for a hotel. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel's location, comfort level & cleanliness, not to mention the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely stay here again upon my next trip to Heidelberg.

Great hotel, provided a lot for the money. The room was (mostly) clean, very spacious, and the bathroom was fantastically clean and large, with a comfortable standing shower with glass doors--very different from what you'd expect in a European hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only gripe I had was the 15 euro overnight parking fee. Right in the middle of Heidelberg, within short walking distance to the Neckar River and the university. Right next to a Biergarten with fantastic Heidelberger beer! Across the street from a McDonald's, so it's convenient for breakfasts and snacks. Also across the street from a DM grocery store and department store as well. All in all, a great value and great stay. Very highly recommended.

Recently updated rooms with modern contemporary furnishings. The rooms are extremely spacious compared to other rooms in Europe. The location is nice - it is at the end of Hauptstrasse and the windows kept the noise out. The front desk staff was really helpful; one of the receptionists basically walked me to the bus stop I needed to take. There is no one at the front desk at night (you have to carry an extra key to let yourself in after 11pm).

Great shopping and many restaurants nearby. Two blocks from the river. Not to handy if you have a car. Tight quarters in the ramp + 15 euros. 3.5 *

Desk clerks are very courteous and helpful and speak pretty good English. The room we had was modern,very clean and comfortable. We were at the back of the hotel, so it was quiet. The location is very close to the historic sites of the old city. The old city is a magical place. There is no breakfast with the room, but there is a place with good coffee and pastries on the corner a half a block away. There is also a Woolworth next store, if you need anything at all. The only downside is finding the darn parking garage. Stop at the hotel first and get the parking token. Then from the Woolworth and then the hotel go down to the first left you can take into a private driveway. Its not a street and it runs right alongside the coffee shop. Careful its not the driveway that leads to the garage door! Those are private residences. Also, be careful of the electric trains and Peds when turning left! Good freaking luck. The rest of the visit will be a snap.

Parking was difficult, but other than that, this is a nice hotel located just a block off the walking mall in downtown. Rooms were clean and well kept. Good value considering location.

This hotel was fantastic. Location great for walking to city center, castles, etc. Charming and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend it to anyone.

Great room with new furniture, very clean, and good location near center of town. On a busy street but the sound proof windows do a good job. Window treatments are a bit transparent and could see the street lights at night.

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Heidelberg, kein Straßenlärm, sehr freundliches Personal, wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Honestly, I can not recommend this Hotel.The room was on the top floor facing a noisy street. Considering that the Hotel did not have aircondition and that the weather was hot, having to have the windows open wasn't very nice. The curtains were unfortunately of light colour,making sleeping even harder.The fridge wasn't functioning, we were unable to check in before 3.30 p.m. and there was no night receptionist, which meant that if we wanted to get into the Hotel after 11p.m., we had to go to the Kebab place next door, since they had the keys for the Hotel. Reception staff was slightly unproffesional as well, just lots of young girls giggling.

Mycket trevlig personal, hjälpsam och behärskar engelska. Rummet var ren och såg väldigt fräsch ut. MINUS får dock parkeringen som ligger på andra sidan gatan en bricka används för in och utfarten. Ett litet minus får kuddarna

Very clean and refurbished, central location at the beginning of the shopping street and very helpful and friendly staff.

Hotel central, bien qu'à la limite de vieille ville, sur la BismarckPlatz. Accueil gentil et attentionné, ont tout fait pour nous aider. Chambres refaites, excellent confort, bien insonorisées. Ce serait bien qu'il y ait quelques chaines en français à la télé, mais dans l'ensemble très bon séjour.

Das Hotel bayrischer Hof ist neu renoviert und verfügt über sehr schöne Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind wesentlich größer als in anderen Hotels, auch das Bad ist erfreulich geräumig. Das Zimmer ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Hochwertige Möbel machen auch einen längeren Aufenthalt zum Vergnügen. Darum eine exzellente Bewertung. Kleiner Nachteil: das Hotel selbst bietet (noch) kein Frühstück an, hat aber eine Kooperation mit einem angrenzenden Café. Der Service dort ist leider nicht gut wie im Bayrischen Hof.

Très bon accueil, hôtel idéalement situé en plein centre ville pour des déplacements à pieds.
