Pension Brezina Prague - Praga

All of the party I went to Prague with had positive comments regarding this hotel. I would sum it up as follows: This hotel offers very good value for money. The rooms were cleaned every day, they were very adequate for a short break, and we were left to ourselves. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pension Brezina was great - lovely clean and cosy room and in a good location. A real pleasure to come back to after each day of sightseeing.

The hotel is great for the price and the location is convenient, a short walk from the subway line. However, one of the employees at reception was rude and unfriendly to me and other guests.

It was a lovely place to stay. The room was clean and nice. It is located in the city center and really convenient. The staff were nice and helpful. I would recommend it to all my friends.

Although it is quite conveniently located, the hotel could not offer a good condition for us to take a rest. Stains were found on the quilts and it was very noisy in the mid-night as the hotel abuts a busy road

For a 29-year old single male traveler on a budget like myself, Hotel Pension Brezina was nice. It's a no-frills kind of place, but if all you need is a bed and a private bathroom after a long day of sight-seeing, then this is a good choice! I will say, however, the New Town location was less charming than Prague's Old Town or Mala Strana. Nothing wrong with it at all, but if I go back, I would rather stay in one of those areas next time if I can afford it.

If you're just going to be using the room as a place to sleep, then this is a good hotel for you. The rooms and beds are clean but are not really made for more than 2 people. The 3rd bed in a few of the rooms we booked (Stag party) were nothing more than a matress. So not at all suitable for a family. The staff on reception were friendly enough, considering they were faced with 12 Englishmen out to enjoy themselves. We were asked to vacate the rooms by 11am but as we were inevitably late, they did call the rooms to ask us to leave. Having said that, we were 45 mins late and they were happy enough with that. In terms of location, it is also well placed. Wenceslas square is no more than 10 minutes walk and the Old Town is not much further. There is also a metro station close by if you want to travel further afield. No luxuries, just a decent bed for the night really. So if that is all you need, then this hotel is for you.

When we arrived in Praque my party was unsure of what i had booked for them. (10 lads for my 40th). When we checked in it became clear that my party were as impressed as me. Clean and tidy rooms with Tv's (Sky) and Phones. Room service every day Continental breakfast Pleasant staff Wencezlas Sq was only a 15min stroll to the centre with loads of bars and shops on route, 1 right next door to hotel. Fantastic city, well worth visiting, very cheap in places, like everwhere else you can find more expensive bars and restaurants Would recommend hotel to anyone who wants a break and wants good value and good service at no extra cost. Excellent hotel and location!!!!!!

very close to tube station, which is helpful for geting to-or-from airport, and generally within 5 min of the Museum and thus all the 'fun'. but apart from that - there's nothing additional to it, just a nice hotel.

hotel is decent, good location - walking distance to main square, rooms are comfortable and clean, fine if not spending great amount of time in your room. reception staff aren't particularly friendly but got the job done.

Basic accommodation, but in a good location, adjacent a tram station, with clean rooms. No complimentary shampoo or soap in rooms though, so make sure you take your own!

Good value for money. Clean spacious rooms would stay there again. The guy who's on at night is a bit rude however.

Staff efficient and helpful. Plenty of food at breakfast even though we did not eat until 10am. Bril location for metro and trams

The Brezina Hotel is at a very convenient location between the Prague Conference Center and the Wenzel square. I was able to attend the conference by walking there - and in the evening to enjoy the city life. The room was very nice, and not noisy at all. Attached to the hotel is a very nice restaurant that provided us with good food an beer. All together: I'll go back to Prague, and I'll stay at the Brezina Hotel again!

this hotel done everything it says on the tin,would recomend to all types of people

Good sized room with king sized, comfortable bed. Metro and tram stops fairly handy. Hope leaking shower in Room 9 has been repaired.

weboth really liked it thee we would totally return thera again. the place is centrally located with a few bars, restaurants and market near it. it is oneblock from merto station and it was a safe place. We both felt really comfortable and it was clean.

Very nice, spacious yet simple room. Very clean. Quiet, except for being on 1st floor with main door slamming shut every 30 seconds during busy hours. Maybe ask for a higher floor. Did not try breakfast as great bakery and gyro/pizza places were right around corner at tram & subway stop. Banks also there and a few pubs on the way. Great location to get anywhere public transport goes with that stop 5 minutes away. Not sure how long to walk to tourist sites as public transport was so accessible. Loved the heated towel rack! And there were 2 glasses in the bathroom, but no hairdryer so you might want to bring one. Plug adapter and converter(Radioshack) that worked in Germany worked here as well. Would highly recommend hotel if you are looking for a decent place to sleep with easy access to the city.

Just what you'd expect for the price - quite basic but very clean. Comfortable beds, enough towels, which were changed daily. Would have benefited from tea/coffee-making facilities, but there was a Tesco Express about 5 minutes walk away. A 10 minutes walk to Wenceslas Square and very close to tram and metro stops. Staff weren't particularly welcoming but dealt with our few requests quickly and without fuss.

Ok hotel with good service.

the hotel is pretty close to everything (around 10 mins walk to the old square and slightly more to the Charles Bridge). It's clean and nicer than a lot of hotels I've stayed in in the UK (often for a lot more money too!) We initially avoided using the lift given some reviews we'd read about it breaking down but so long as we stuck to no more than 2 adults plus bags in it we never had a problem with it. The staff were helpful whenever approached and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I reserved and payed in advance for 2 double rooms. When we arrived we were given a single and a double. The double room was very nice, comfortable, clean, and met my expectations. The single did not and they did not try to remedy it. The elevator was out for more than half of our stay and we were on the fifth (top) floor. We asked the hotel to call a cab for us a day in advance that we had a number for. They would not. They did reserve a cab for us which was supposed to arrive at 3:30 a.m. and it did not arrive. This hotel could be very good if they cared about their guests and their needs. The location was great.

Hotel looks to be in a bad area when you arrive late in the evening, lots of grafitti and dimly lit streets etc. However we had no problem and were at ease once we dropped our suitcases and blended in with the rest of the punters. Was easy to walk to the Museum next morning as a good starting point for sightseeing, and was easy to get to and from town on a tram once you figure out the direction to go in (opposite side of the tracks/street from either of the metro exits). Room was very basic but clean enough, building is old and creaky but has charachter. Taxi out from town at night was easy, not cheap but the going rate, and there were lots of people at the 24Hr McDonalds so we felt safe strolling down and getting a late coffee. So if it's luxury you are after then look elsewhere, but if it's (relative) value for money you want and you intend to be out sightseeing and partying most of the time then don't hesitate.

Not the best location, rooms have odd sloping ceilings, more like a hostel than a hotel.

The room was clean and the location was central. Overall the facility is pretty limited but for those not needing any frills this is a good value.

Small rooms, but good for the money.

Clean but could use serious updating. Very institutional. Didn't have a cup or glass in the room or bathroom. 100 yards from Metro stop and 1 stop from Wellencelas square. Restaurant next door "Legends" has good food at cheap prices.

Nemt at finde, centralt for tog og busser. Rent og pænt. Morgenmaden god

Vi ble møtt i resepsjonen av to menn som ordnet seg marijuhana-røyk, så gikk de på trappa og røykte. Sjokkerende var det, og særlig siden jeg hadde meg mitt 13 år gamle barn. Det første vi måtte gjøre når vi kom inn på rommet var å vaske spindelvev, som fantes i mengder. Stille inn passe varme i dusjen var umulig, og vaktmesteren ble sint når vi ba om reparasjon på det, så vi dusjet hele uken i kokende varmt eller iskaldt vann. Ventet over et døgn på å få reparert toalettet, det gikk ikke å trekke ned så vi måtte løpe på restauranten på hjørnet når vi måtte på do. Rengjøringdamen var flink, koslig oppredde senger hverdag, men det var det eneste positive, og Vi vil aldri mer bo på dette hotellet!!!! Og anbefaler andre reisende ikke å bo her

Collocazione ottima a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro. Metropolitana delle immediate vicinanze. La pulizia in generale potrebbe essere migliore, in 5 giorni un cambio di lenzuola e nessun cambio asciugamani. Comunque un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Ett mycket fräscht och trevligt hotell. Får mycket för pengarna. Bra läge i staden med gångavstånd till flera sevärdheter samt tunnelbana inpå knuten!

Pension Brezina Prague är ett enkelt, centralt, billigt och bra hotell. Ett nästan 200-årigt hotell med skön storstads patina. Rummen är rena, tysta (iaf in mot gården) och sängarna sköna. Frukost kan man äta gott och billigt på flera ställen i närheten av hotellet. Det blir Brezina igen när det blir dax för julresan.

Lå rett ved metroen og personalet var vennlige og hjelpsomme.Frokosten var grei nok til den prisen (ca.40 nok). Sengene var gode å sove i.

Ikke langt å gå til sentrum. Ikke spesielt service-innstilt personale. Helt greit.

värst hotell jag någonsin bott på i hela mitt liv. kunde inte sova en enda natt för de höll på att "slå i hjäl" varandra ute i trapphuset.

The service and rooms are pretty normal standard for a 3 star hotel in Europe. 10min walk from vaclav or 100m to the closest Metro station. I.e. it's "perfect" from my perspective as I like a cheap but "clean" hotel close to the city.

Very good Pension with just 10 min walk from the big street in Prague. Nice rooms for the cheap price and a very good and cheap restaurant just beside the Pension.

Jeg er veldig fornøyd med beliggenheten. Hotellet ligger ca 5-10 min å gå fra nasjonalmuseet og den største handlegaten i Praha. Så det er veldig sentralt. Hotellet ligger i en ganske trafikert gate, så de som ikke tåler litt bråk fra biler, vil jeg ikke anbefale å bo her. Rommene var enkle, men hadde god standard. Jeg anbefaler dette hotellet til personer som vil ha et billig hotell som ligger sentralt i Praha.

posizione centrale,con 5 min.si raggiunge piazza venceslao,con 20 la "old town".si è completamente indipendenti dalla reception in quanto ha un altro ingresso,quindi un mini appartamento in pieno centro.economico e ottimo x giovani,studenti e x tutti coloro che non cercano un 5 stelle.personale gentilissimo.cosa fondamentale.una felice sorpresa
