Hotel Abruzzi - Roma

The hotel is in an ideal location - on the square in front of the Pantheon. The rooms are large for Europe and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They have A/C which is not always the norm in Europe but it is a little on the weak side. I would absolutely return to the hotel.

This is a no-frills hotel if you're used to the typical chains. Instead, you get "authentic Rome" in a location that is perfect for exploring the city. I had a gorgeous view of the Pantheon from my window, as well as the piazza in front of it. The hotel is 2 blocks from Piazza Novona, and central located for walking up to Piazza del Popolo or down to the Colloseum and Roman Forum. Front desk staff was very helpful, and helped me devise a plan to see as much as possible in the half day I had there. My room was clean and quaint. I loved it here, and recommend it to anyone staying in Rome.

This hotel couldn't be any better situation location-wise! It was within walking distance to basically all the hot tourist and night spots. The only issue we had was that the air conditioner left a bit to be desired, however, it was almost 100 degrees out each day... the poor thing just couldn't keep up. Also, you should think twice about going to Rome in the middle of the summer anyway! Great price, great location, and people were very nice and helpful!

We stayed 2 nights based on a recmmendation by a friend. The room was typical of most rooms in Rome, small. However, you are paying for the location with this hotel. The hotel is located right in Piazza Della Rotonda square where the Pantheon is located. We stayed in room 106 which had a view of the square and the Pantheon out the window. Our rooom had its own bath, which was one of our requirements. The square is very active until midnight or later every night, but closing the windows does cancel the noise. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and all spoke English. If you're looking for a non-luxury hotel with a great location I would recommend this hotel to you.

Hotellet ligger ved Pantheon, og er en perfekt beliggenhet for å kunne gå til severdigheter. Rommet var rent, og personellet i resepsjonen servicemindet. Bor her gjerne igjen.
