Eurostars Gran Valencia - Valencia

Situated about 10 mins in a taxi from the centre of the City, this hotel was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Perfect as a base if your are in Valencia for the weekend or longer. The staff are very friendly however for advice on restaurants etc you may want to explore online before you go unless all you like is paella/valencian cuisine. Bar staff are excellent and other than the small gripe about advice from reception I would not hesitate to return.

First of all - be aware this is out of the main hub of Valencia. This is not a bad thing though! Right next to the metro made getting around easy - there was plenty of free parking around the hotel too. Also if the metro is closed it only cost us €6 in a taxi back! The hotel is squeezed between a Ibis and Novotel hotel - actually the same building! But you get the upper floors. Rooms were neat and tidy and well equipped for our needs. There isn't much around the hotel but like I said easy to get to places. The beds were firm - and I found them incredibly comfortable and I slept fantastically! I'm very pleased overall with our stay.

Beautiful marble and chrome in the bathroom ruined by the panel on the side of the jacuzzi bath being all swollen and discoloured with water. Best stocked mini-bar I've ever seen messed up by the handle being missing to the fridge door! Carlos Fandango slidey door to the bathroom kept jamming. Entrance is stunningly unimpressive for a 5* hotel. Small things that detract severely from the experience - just needs a bit of attention to detail to improve it considerably but great for the price.

I really enjoyed my time at the Eurostars Gran Valencia, great staff and perfect location. The metro is about a 5 min walk and is easy to use. If you prefer to take a taxi it will cost you around 5 Euro to go to the center of town.

If you are wanting a five star hotel do not book this. The rooms are tiny and unimpressive. No WOW factor when you walk in. We found raisins all over our room and the bath tub was dirty. Not impressed. It is close to a metro stop which is a bonus.

My fiance & I truly enjoyed this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked how close the hotel was to the subway. This made it easy to get a train into the center of Valencia. I would stay there again. :)

I'm too frustrated to write anything long and waste ore time than I've already wasted on them...basically: 1. They overcharged me 2. Did not put the customer first 3. Location is completely inconvenient

This was a wonderful hotel in all respects but one. The beds were horrible. While I can appreciate a firm bed, these beds had more in common with a rock than a mattress. My back was actually sore the next morning and I'm only 25 years old with no history of back issues. The bed aside, the hotel was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and very polite. The room was great in every other way. So, if you like sleeping on a rock, this hotel would be perfect for you.

Room is ok & good. BAD SERVICE. Responsiveness could be improved. Asked for TV remote atleast 5 times and didn't get till the end of 2 day stay. Complaint on bathroom was not takencare at all.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The room was a reasonable size and well equipped although there was no facility for making tea or coffee in the room which would have been nice. It is a little way from the city centre but is close to a metro stop and the metro system is excellent so you can be in the centre within 15 minutes of leaving the hotel.

I would rate this hotel as a nice 4*, not the luxury you would expect from a 5*. Great views from 22nd floor and close to gym/sauna on 23rd and rooftop pool on 24th (too cold to use in April!). Although on the outskirts of Valencia, location is not a problem with metro (Beniferri) 2 mins. away and tram (Garbi) 5 mins. Paid 7euros for zone A Bonometro ticket (10 trips), which covered metro and tram. Slightly more if you want zone A&B which includes airport. Found tram to Pont de Fusta best way to get to cathedral and Placa de la Reina, metro to Angel Guimera best for Placa de Ajuntament. Taxi back to hotel after midnight only 6-7euros. Didn't eat at hotel so can't comment on restaurant, and nowhere to eat nearby.

Very nice low-key place. A little out of the way (about a half-hour walk into the old city). Very good restaurant with good service. Pleasant bar. Rooms a little small for a 5*. Staff very helpful. Good service.

Good points: Location was eexcellent, brekkie, service was ok, price was very good. I'm suprised it's 5 star but that's not saying it's bad. Bad points: Matress was rock hard, Lift gave me a headache, not enough pillows but hardly any hotels have that. The location was ideal with regard to taxi costs. We had cheap rides whether going to old town, port or airport. Will be ideal when the new football ground is built.

Hotel was comfortable and nice. However, overated as 5star as expected more for a 5 more like a 3+. Hard to find as located behind metro and is shared in one block with the Ibis and Novotel hotels over floors 13 to 23. Nice gymn and sauna on top floor but is small, pool not open so cannot comment. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant pricey and not much choice. Be careful of the room keys we had trouble every time and was spending several mins trying to get into room. Tram and metro close by and supermarket nearby, convenient for getting water and snacks etc. Centre can be easily reached by metro and beach by the tram. Not walking distance, may want to be closer to centre.

This hotel was nice and the room very nice with a spa bath but would not class it as 5 stars, more like 4. We found it hard to find from the direction given by the hotel and that on Hotels.com. Found the hotel a bit far from the main center (a good 30 mins walk to all the main sites of the old city)`with not much to offer around within easy walking distant. Also found the service a bit poor as they didn't seem to be that helpful and when we made a visit to the hotel bar they was nobody there and had to wait 10 minutes before somebody came and served us and they can't say they were busy as we went out of season and they were not very many guest there. The one good thing about the hotel was the food. If I was to go back to Valencia I would chose a hotel within the center so everything is on your doorstep.

The hotel has an excellent service in areas such as front desk and room service. The people is very friendly and give you good advice about places to visit and how to get there. The rooms are medium size but they have sliding doors which gives you a sense of a larger area.

Staff was great, room's were very "cool" nice neighbor hood! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This hotel is rated 5 stars but I think should be 4 stars at most. The hotel's facilities (pool, restaurant, cafe, internet in rooms) were great. I was slightly dissatisfied with the condition of my room, however. A bar glass was broken, a door to the toilet in the bathroom did not work, and the television did not have movies you could purchase like I would expect from most 3 and 4 star hotels. Note that the description does not say an internet connection is available from rooms, but it in fact is.

När det gäller hotellet i sig har jag inte mycket att klaga på. Det är fräscha rum, bra städning, mycket snabb service när vi ville ha hjälp med olika saker. Poolen på top floor är härlig och man får en magnifik utsikt över stan. Minus för poolen är att det ej fanns poolbar med möjlighet att äta eller dricka något. Restaurangen och baren är OK. Fräscht med modern stil. Dock uppgav den en viss spökstämning eftersom det väldigt sällan var någon där och åt. Det största minuset med hotellet är dess läge. Vill man hänga på stranden tar det ganska lång tid att åka dit, eftersom det ligger på andra sidan stan. Men det finns tunnelbana 2-3 minuter från hotellet och det är goda kommunaktioner i stan med både tunnelbana, spårvagn och buss.

Bon hôtel, 10 minutes du centre par le métro, mais faut prendre un taxi pour revenir après minuit (8 ? depuis centre ville). Grand lit confortable, jacuzzi dans la salle de bain, personnel accueillant. Piscine sur le toit, 24 ème étage avec vue spectaculaire sur la ville.

Det var skönt att det fanns pool och rummet var fräscht och fint. Möjligen att personalen kunde gett lite mer information, de frågade t ex inte om vi ville boka frukost osv, men de var inte otrevliga på något sätt.

il personale e' stato gentilissimo e sempre disponibile, e anche la camera era davvero confortevole, buona anche la posizione la metro e' vicinissima e si raggiunge il centro facilmente.

Purtroppo i servizi fantastici pensati all'inizio non hanno avuto la corretta manutenzione e oggi ne funzionano meno della metà. Un peccato per un albergo così ben localizzato

Comodissimo, molto pulito, vicinissimo ai mezzi, camere molto belle (e il parquet in camera, invece delle solite moquettes sporche) e, in promozione, conveniente! Da tornarci

Per essere un 5 stelle i camerieri sono poco attenti specie al bar ed alla colazione. Non si accorgono di chi arriva e bisogna sempre chiamarli. Al bar in particolare non c'è mai nessuno

Non esattamente in centro ma ben servito da due linee di metropolitana è in costruzione proprio di fronte il nuovo stadio
