Beutiful rooms. Well maintained hotel. Excellent location. The front desk attendant was not very helpful. Do not use the breakfast buffet -- it is unnecessarily expensive.

Hotel was in a terrific location on a beautiful square. Rooms were beautifully redone and had excellent views of the square. Staff spoke very little English and weren't able to make any suggestions for restaurants or other activities. No map was provided, etc. But we were quite well versed with the area so getting around was not a problem. The hotel seemed more geared toward local business travelers.

We stayed at two hotels during our stay in Sevilla: One was a less centrally-located hotel that my husband's business conference was being held at, and when the conference was over, we moved to the Inglaterra, and I'm glad we did. The first hotel was great for conferences, but in walking proximity to nothing. The Inglaterra was ideally located. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. They were happy to speak either English or Spanish with us, and were very patient. The rooms were gorgeous. I was a little uneasy about the extreme firmness of the mattresses, but we slept very comfortably on them. We were awakened a couple times by very noisy (and talkative!) garbage men in the middle of each night as they collected what sounded like ten metric tons of glass, but in fairness, that comes with any hotel located in the middle of all the action. My husband did pay for 24 hours of wifi, but I was unable to log on from my computer, and he was having issues getting on due to "capacity" problems. I did, however, find an unsecured wifi network called "default" through which I was able to access the internet without problems for the duration of our three-day stay. We didn't eat at the hotel's restaurant, but we did make their bar the final stop of our bar-hopping for two of the three nights we stayed. It was a little odd seeing a perfect replica of an "Irish Pub" staffed by and full of Spaniards, but the service was impeccable and it was a nice way to end the night.

Hotel Inglaterra is pleasant and comfortable and faces onto the Plaza Nueva, a pretty Plaza an easy walk from the Cathedral. I was afraid the Plaza would be noisy at night, but though it was full of people early in the evening, they had gone home by 9-10:00. The only noise is the cleaning crews on the Plaza at night, but it's not bad. We didn't want to pay the 16 euro for breakfast at the hotel, but there are 3 inexpensive alternatives on the way to the Cathedral. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night because we were tired of walking, and we thought it was good but a bit expensive and the waiter was not very pleasant, but there are other places around. There's a taxi gathering place right in front, and you will need one to get to the Santa Justa train station. Seville has no metro. The only disadvantages I found were the cleaning noise on the Plaza at night (slight) and the fact that this is an English-style hotel (hence the name) in Spain, originally built for English tourists there 150 years ago. But the location is ideal, the hotel is comfortable, and the price is right.

Centrally located for all the top Seville sights. Took car, parked by concierge at 15 euros per night. Excellent b'fast. Nice service standards. Close to new tram line...you can see tram from b'fast room. My wife and I would stay again. Views on side of hotel pretty basic city landscape.

Fantastic location, powerful shower, comfortable beds. Our room overlooked Plaza Nueva (great view) but this did mean we did get disturbed by the various town hall/church bells - but only on the first night - I think we got used to them after that.

This hotel is well located, clean and well run. Our room was very nice. The concierge was wonderful - very friendly and informative and chatty. The Irish bar downstairs seemed like a happening spot but we didn't go in.

This hotel is at on end of only tram ( very modern and smooth) in Sevilee interconnecting San sebastion / plaza Nuova. walking distance all major sights & shopping!! Aeroport bus last stop just round corner from tram and costs Euro 2.1 instead of 30 for taxi and takes approx 30mins - there and back saves enough for excellent lunch in Taberna Albardero just round corner from hotel cooking school - 13euro each for 3 course lunch - try the choc sauce rabit ( main). Use your driving licence to get 2 euro access to Cathedral and FREE access to Alcasar if over 65....!! Bueno Noches!

i LOVED this hotel. it was beautiful, romantic, great location, clean, great service, great bar, great food. a fabulous breakfast was included (not common in Europe anymore), great AC, good size room, and you were in the center of the town in a safe location. Our room overlooked a beautiful plaza. Great crisp white linens, a safe was in the room, and it was all beautifully decorated. Low marks for: thin walls and you could hear noise from the other rooms. the house cleaners slammed the doors every morning at 9am i think to get all the guests out. TV had PPV but they were almost all in Spanish. as you can see, the low marks are not on really important things. this hotel doesn't get much better than this. i shutter to write such a great review for fear that this hotel will raise their prices!!

The location of this hotel was excellent for sightseeing and enjoying the city of Sevilla. Our room was recently renovated and lovely. However, the rest of the hotel was still being renovated and construction work began very early every morning. The hotel staff was cordial, not overly friendly or welcoming. The continental breakfast was a plus for this hotel.

Tot onze verrassing werden we ge-upgrade naar een superior room, die een bijzonder comfortabele en ruime suite bleek te zijn. Locatie is uitstekend, personeel behulpzaam, goede parkeergelegenheid. Ontbijt een beetje rommelig. Absoluut value for money.
