Novo Hotel Impero - Trieste

The hotel is opposite the train station. 51 bus takes you to and from the station & airport (Taxi's - 50euros, bus - 3euros). Pam supermarket by the hotel is very convenient. 36 bus outside Pam to the last stop (bus turns around so you'll know) for a beach & a walk to Mirramare castle. 8 bus outside the station (opposite Pam) to the marina where there is a pebbled beach full of locals. 80 cents entry. Women on the left, men on the right & they are very strict on this. The hotel is about 6 blocks from the canal & only a few more to the piazza & was safe to walk around at night. Lots of restaurants by the canal & behind the piazza, prices are very reasonable & the food is lovely! Venice is 2 hrs by train & about 9 euros one way. The hotel receptionist was lovely on arrival. The other lady warmed to us throughout our stay but the breakfast lady wasn't too keen to smile. Though breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. It is very clean and a nice standard.

I stayed here in July 2009 for 4 nights with 3 friends. The hotel was easy to find when we arrived and is well situated (opposite train and bus stations). The staff were helpful, for example providing tips on what buses to get to various destinations, where we might be able to buy beach towels etc. When we first arrived the hotel felt a bit like something from the 1970's, but the room was very clean and comfortable and I would stay here again.

Gleich gegenüber vom Zentralbahnhof und Busbahnhof gelegen, ist das Hotel Impero ein idealer Stützpunkt für Aktivitäten in und rund um Triest, das Stadtzentrum befindet sich in Spaziergangnähe. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmäßig, wenn auch nicht gerade geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lobby hingegen bietet neben herrlichen antiken Möbeln eine Auswahl zeitgenössischer Kunstwerke von allerhöchster Qualität, die für sich allein einen Besuch in diesem Haus rechtfertigen. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und sprechen tadelloses Englisch. Wenn man nicht gerne süß frühstückt, ist das Impero allerdings nicht die richtige Wahl, auch der Kaffee am Frühstücksbuffet wird dem Ruf der Stadt als Heimat eines großen Kaffeeherstellers nicht gerecht. Alles in allem empfehlenswert - wenn ich das nächste Mal Schinken, Ei und Gemüse am Frühstücksbuffet vorfinde, komme ich sehr sehr gern wieder, ansonsten bloß gern.

Hotellet ligger precis vid järnvägen varför det var enkelt att ta sig från tåget. Receptionen är trevlig och frukosten riktigt god. De sämre sidorna är att det känns "öde" och att bekvämligheten inte är den bästa. Man har inte riktgit fått till någon hotelkänsla utan snarare ett lite bättre "backpackers"

Fint hotell vegg i vegg med jernbanestasjonen. Gåavstand til Canal Grande, og mange gode restauranter like i nærheten. Hotellets tilbud om parkering besto av et parkeringshus 6 km unna på andre siden av byen, hotellets folk loset oss dit og tilbake

staff disponibile e giovane, l'edifio è in ristrutturazione, ma tutto funziona perfettamente e non c'erano rumori che disturbavano nelle camere. Stanze spaziose, anche i bagni. Colazione buona per un tre stelle. ottimo per chi arriva in treno. molto centrale rispetto a tutto se si è lì in visita.

The Novo Hotel has an old building and also the furniture but the clean service is very efficient and the receptionists are kindly. Therefore, I my nights to this hotel were excellent. The breakfast was good for me with capuccino and croissant but there was not many other stuff to eat so if someone is used to a continental (or british) breakfast will have some problem.

Zu teuer, sonst alles in der Norm (Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht)

comodo al centro e alla stazione dei treni, confortevole, pulito, stanze spaziose e arredate con gusto

zentral gelegen, zimmer immer sauber ,frühstück für italienische verhältnisse ok.,freundlich englisch sprechendes personal an der reception.

Nettes ,leicht erreichbares Hotel,ordentlicher Service,trotz Zentrumslage relativ ruhig.Saubere,wenn auch schon etwas unmoderne Zimmer,hygienische Sanitäreinrichtungen.Frühstück italientypisch etwas mager.
