Browns Hotel - Dublín

Browns is advertised as a hotel but it is more of a hostel. It was fine and served the purpose for our overnight stay. Room was clean but few things could do with updating. Big advantage is the location which is ideal!! Close to the bus station and O'Connell street. Staff were friendly enough.

There was all kinds of problems when we arrived. We had to wait 30mins outside of the carpark they sent us, just to find out they won't let us park in there! Our room was in the basement and the smell of damp was serious!Bed was uncomfortable. Room was big and the price of the hotel was VERY cheap, so I shouldn't complain really. Location suited us perfect.

i have spent a lot less money for better hotels. it was pretty much a hostel and called a hotel. rooms smelled bad, beds were hard as rocks. The computer is a joke. it takes coins and costs about 1 euro per website. The staff was annoying when you could actually find someone. its about the service youd get from an inner city 711.

Great room. Plenty of space to move around. Hotel didn't have the means to make wakeup calls.

The quality was not very good. The window was broken, so I had to find a way to net let the air to flow in. The room was cleaned every day, but there were stains on the moquette. The rooms was spacious, though. There are other hotels which are way more better for the same amount of money.

Les cloisons entre les chambres ne sont pas bien épaisses, l'immeuble est vétuste (bac de douche très abimé, peinture effritée), mauvaise isolation.

Hotel semplice ma dotato dei conforts necessari. Ubicazione centralissima da dove ci si può spostare senza prendere alcun tipo di mezzo pubblico. Corrado

L'hôtel est très bien placé (nous avons tout fait à pied). La premiere nuit, on nous a donné une grande chambre, mais placée juste à côté de la réception, et au niveau de la rue, donc bruyant (bcp de circulation dans la rue, et gens s'asseyant la nuit sur les marches pour discuter). Nous avons demandé le lendemain à changer, et nous avons obtenu une chambre bcp plus petite mais au 2e étage donc moins bruyante. Les chambres sont modestes, mais propres. Le seul souci est le manque d'insonorisation, mais le prix et l'emplacement valent vraiment le coup.

Très bien situé (dans le centre de Dublin). Par contre, la propreté de la salle de bain et la vitre cassée dans la chambre laissent à désirer

Hôtel très bien situé, à 10min à pieds du centre ville et des arrêts de bus. Personnel jeune , très accueillant. Chambre triple fonctionnelle. Douche/lavabo/toilettes dans une petite salle d'eau. Linge et produits d'hygiène fournis. Possiblité d'avoir des couvertures suplémentaires. Moquette au sol. TV. Risque de nuisances sonores si la chambre donne sur la grande avenue. Les cloisons entre les chambres ne sont pas bien épaisses! Pas d'ascenseur. Suffisant pour une escapade de 3 jours entre copines fauchées! Pas forcément pour un week end en amoureux!

L'accueil était sympathique, la chambre assez grande et propre. Gels douche, serviettes... tpit était à disposition. Du confort avec notamment du thé...

Karakteristiek pand en mooie ligging in de binnenstad om te shoppen. Hotel en kamers zien er rommelig en onprettig uit. Heb hier 1x echt gelogeerd en voor een volgende keer zal ik dit hotel niet meer boeken. Heb deze beslissing ook puur op kosten genomen. Volgende keer geef ik liever iets meer uit voor een hotel.

PERSONALMENTE ERO IN UNA CAMERA ADIACENTE ALL'OSTELLO, TROPPA CONFUSIONE!

Hotel liegt ziemlich zentral. Innenstadt ist zu Fuß innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Hotel ist alt aber sauber. Typisches Problem in Irland: Schimmel und Feuchtigkeit in allen Zimmern, da das Heizen zu teuer ist. Fenster sind nur einfach verglast daher bei kaltem Wetter extrem kalt im Hotelzimmer.

Hotel in poszione abbastanza strategica,a pochi passi da talbot street. In luogo sicuro anche di notte. La struttura non è il massimo,da passarci non più di 3/4 giorni,anche perchè in confronto ad altri costa di più ed ha meno servizi

la struttura e' nella lower gardiner, una via che e' pressoche' parallela alla principale o'connel,e a 5 minuti a piedi c'e' il bus terminal, quindi molto comodo se si giunge dall'aereoporto con il bus,e comodo per andare in centro sia a piedi che con i vari mezzi, la via e' piena di ostelli e alberghi,ma non c'e' confusione la sera,quindi ottimo per dormire, l'hotel ha le camere abbastanza piccole,ma c'e' tutto, il calorifero per l'inverno,il bagno in camera,la Tv,la macchinetta immancabile per fare the' o caffe', lo staff e' abbastanza giovanile ma ben cordiale e servizievole. c'e' anche un piccolo ristorante all'interno, e se volete vi portano la cena in camera. colazione tipica (uova strapazzate,bacon,etc). un solo "piccolo difetto" : queste sono antiche mansioni, non esiste ascensore, quindi se potete prima di prenotare chiedete una stanza al primo piano, a me e' capitata all'ultimo, 4 piani di ripide scale (stile olandese per intenderci), per me non era un problema, ma forse per qualcuno potrebbe esserlo, per il prezzo che ho pagato comunque una ottima scelta nel cuore di Dublino.
