Location was excellent, close to subway, with restaurants all around. Hotel amenities was satisfactory. However, at times, we found the hotel front desk rude, inhospitable, and unhelpful.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, I was expecting a lot less. The hotel had a clean lobby, elevator, hallways, room and bathroom. Everything was clean, though the carpet in the room was do for a shampooing. The television had a lot of static, though I was not there enough to call the front desk and try to get it fixed. I only grabbed a donut for breakfast but it seamed fine for a continental. The section of Brooklyn is more of an urban area, but seemed fine when I walked to and from the subway. There are only 10 parking spots, (2 for handicap) so that is a draw back if you are not one of the eight and have to park on the street. Overall I would say this was a very good hotel to stay at.

It was cozy to stay in. The bathtub needed to be cleaner, but overall it was a good price

The hotel is located in a good neighborhood. there are all kinds of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Accessible to public transportation via bus and subway. Continental breakfast included. Room was clean and comfortable. Fridge in the room was a plus at no additional charge. Everything was in good working order. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family. I enjoyed my stay.

This Hotel located in Brooklyn 36 st , 2 blocks from Metro, 30 min to get to Times Square.. Commonly i exceeded my expectations. I dont know about other Rooms but Mine was really good.. Bath was very clean and big. Plazma TV, Cofee Maker, Some Cofee & Tea, Air Conditioner was working properly.. Bad was Clean and Big enough. Good stay for less money..

the rooms are small but clean n cozy,the smoking rooms are on the side of the hotel where trains run by and i couldnt sleep all night

The room had a few aesthetic issues (sloppily patched hole in the wall), but was clean. There definitely is a lot of noise in this neighborhood (Metro, traffic just a few feet from the motel, fire station across the street) so I do not recommend this hotel for light sleepers. The staff was accommodating, helpful.

We found this hotel to wonderful for our short visit to Brooklyn. Easy to find lots of places to eat. Very clean and well priced.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were there 4 nights and it was perfect. It's only 3 blocks from the subway and you really cannot beat the prices! Slightly smaller than your standard days inn hotel room but certainly not a closet. Only (minor) drawback was no ice machine or vending but 24 hr carryout is only 2 blocks away. Will definitely stay there again and will tell all our friends!!

When we took a taxi back at 10PM, we saw someone throw a bottle at someone's head and about 3 people caught the person and beat him up. When my son got sick and I called the desk to find a 24 hour drig store, they never called me back. I had to call again to see where the nearest hospital was and they told me they didn't know, call 911. My son got sick and we put the dirty sheets out in the hall and told them that they were there. 12 hours later, the dirty sheets were still there and the whole floor reeked of vomit.

Everything was fine, I had a great stay,

hotel was ok for the category. the only problem was that the toilet was not clean when we first came into the bathroom, which made me feel a little bit uncomfortable overall. the location is ok and seemed more or less safe even at night. but there is not much around to explore, but the subway is in walking distance.

We stayed at this Days Inn in February and killed a huge bug in the bed. I'm not sure if it was a bedbug, but the fear of this ruined our stay, even though they switched our room.

I found that the description of the hotel, along with the previous guest reviews, led me to expect both the advantages and disadvantages of the hotel. It does in fact have no lobby, and even within the small rooms, the layout made trying to use the phone and the wireless together very difficult. However, those were small concerns compared with uneasiness about staying in Brooklyn. My overriding concern was location. In an unfamiliar neighborhood known as "not the best," I appreciated how close the hotel was to the subway and how easy the directions were to find it.

this hotle is very very small, the rooms are the size of a large closet. there is a lot of noise in this high traffic area and the beds are like sleeping on concreat, the pillows are hard as well. i had a tough time with shower and it didnt warm up for 3 mins of the water running. over all this hotel is very cheap in price but don't expect any comfort. my back still hurts from my stay 3 days ago. i wouldn't recomend this to any one some times cheaper is not better!

The hotel was clean, and near to the subway. These are about the only plus points about the hotel.

I only stayed one night in Brooklyn, and this hotel had a great rate for the area that night. The rooms are fairly small but quite comfortable. Simple, nice breakfast available in the morning. Staff were nice. The area is a little mexico type of area in Brooklyn with lots of Mexican food nearby and a lot of Spanish speakers though most are bilingual. I didn't find a lot of Italian food nearby and the pizza places in walking distance weren't up to normal NY norms. It was 3 blocks from a subway station which was key to my decision to stay there.

like the other reviews, the one bed room is very tight and cramped. however, i was a single traveler so it was ok. front desk management was adequate and I did not have any problems with them. i was able to park in front of the hotel, although there were maybe 8 total spots available. there is street parking available.

I overpaid for this hotel. It took 2 rooms until I got a presentable room. The first room soaked in the smell of smoke it was suppose to be non-smoking and the 2nd room was never cleaned. I was disappointed with the amount of money I paid versus the quality. The room was small but served it's purpose. There was an burglar alarm that went off for the entire night (at the location across the street) so I hardly slept. Overall I was extremely disatisfied and I wish I could get my money back.

Ive travelled all over for 40 yrs. - This is the only Hotel I've ever stayed in where we found two types of bugs in the supposed to be clean sheets of bed.We paid in advance so couldn't chk. out - I complained to staff and asked for another room - asked for their best room they had in exchange - they gave us same type of room on same floor .

For one person staying in a "one queen bed" room, the room was compact without feeling cramped. (Unless you like to unpack all over the place, I guess.) Conveniently near a subway station, and not in a bad neighborhood. I didn't feel the room was missing anything I needed. No significant problems whatsoever.

Just a few blocks from subway, this is a good value to easily get into lower manhattan. Small room with all the basics, including wireless internet.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. My room was tiny and not in "perfect" condition, but it was neat and clean. Certainly adequate for my needs. And, though there are only a few parking spots in front of the hotel, why drive in NYC? A great subway line is 3 blocks away! If you just want a place to sleep at night while you're in the city, this is a great value! The hotel is in a very family-oriented neighborhood in Brooklyn (Sunset Park), and, as I mentioned, very close to the subway. There are also a variety of restaurants on 5th Avenue just north of the hotel, which have delicious food.

Somehow I ended up in Brooklyn and needed to be in Manhattan, but I was close to the subway to get to Manhattan. Although, it was not recommended that I use the subway to return home late at night. I was happy the room was clean, and the staff was very helpful.

This Hotel was great for the price because the location was PERFECT!...three blocks from the subway. ONLY 8 parking spaces but we were able to park our rental car on the same street as the hotel and had no problems walking to and from the subway at night. There were a few good bars and clubs close by and a really good dinner to eat at right up the street from the hotel. The rooms are small but very clean. I felt safe at all times. I would stay at this hotel again.

This out-of-the way little hotel is clean, well maintained and convenient to the subway. The price is very reasonable. Parking is limited on the premises. And, they are adding more rooms with a new addition. It's where I stay in Brooklyn.

compared to others... super sweet

much cheaper than other hotels we could find available in Brooklyn. neighborhood wasn't terrific, but ok. Parking very limited. Room was small, but sufficient for a good night's sleep

Was suppost to get a queens size bed but got a full size bed cause i guess the queens size would not fit in the room. Room was some what smaller then i figure it would be. The worst of all was the parking area, the area was for only 6 cars and was very small. Over all the stay there was not as much fun as i was hoping it would be.

It's literally right outside your window if you happen to land in a back room - but station is 3+ blocks away. Room had peculiar odor, some mold around tub chaulking, and was quite small. A couple of TV channels didn't receive well. Tub didn't work, only shower. Daily cleaning was timely and decent. Neighborhood wasn't best, but we never felt threatened. If all you need is a relatively cheap place to sleep, it's acceptable.

I booked this hotel because I had a party to go to in the area. First and foremost, there is no parking whatsoever. I grew up in this area so I knew which street to go to that we would find parking. If I didn't know the area, I know for a fact I would be circling block after block to find something. When we entered the hotel,someone was smoking in the hotel lobby. I assume it was a member of the staff because he was hanging out there everytime we walked in to the hotel. The check-in clerk asked "What do you want?", as if I was bothering him. He tooked my name and asked me to fill out paperwork and snatched it back from me. Didn't say a word and handed me my key. The room itself was clean, but VERy tiny. I would never stay there again.

This hotel does not allow for a good night's sleep. Not only are rooms allocated alongside either the metrotrack or a busy road, they also have such flimsy walls that you can hear whatever your neighbours are doing. I had bought earplugs for up to 30decible after my first night and they failed to do the job. Staff was very helpful when I asked for a less noisey room however. The only upside to this hotel is that it is three blcoks from the 3 metro lines. But to find a decent place to eat (not a take-away) one needs to go up or down at least 5 metro stops.

For the price, this hotel was great. The room was kind of small, but it was pretty clean and the front desk staff is very courteous. I didn't have any noise issues like people have complained about on here. The breakfast didn't look too appetizing, but there is a diner right on the corner with excellent food. There are tons of places to eat in the neighborhood; I highly recommend Gina's if you like pizza, they will deliver to your room and it is the best pizza I have ever had. The front desk had their menu and a bunch of other places if pizza's not your thing. The parking lot has 6 spots, so I would recommend against moving your car if you manage to grab one. There is a subway stop a few blocks away, so you can take the D train right into Manhattan. It took me about 25-30 mins to get to 42nd and 6th. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone stopping into NYC for a short stay. Just keep the star rating in mind before you start expecting five-star service.

We arrived at Days Inn Brooklyn unsure of the stay. The location was great, and the prime reason we picked it. The room was small - you couldn't have laid on the floor if you wanted - but comfortable. A TV, hair dryer - necessities were all there. The bathroom was nice, and the pillows were comfortable. The area is great - there is a great pharmacy/sandwich shop nearby. And overall, the stay was pleasant and convenient.

The smallest hotel room I have ever been in. Dents in the walls. Actually below ground level with a high window that looked out on an alley.

I was surprised when i got to the hotel.There are only maybe seven parking spaces.If no parking space, one has to park on the street which requires to get up at 7am to move your car and it does not look like a safe area.I will never stay there again even if the hotel does not charged me.
