Booked the hotel about 8 weeks before going (we were seeing Elbow and Coldplay at Phoenix Park), got a good price for the two rooms. When we arrived it was only 930am, check-in isn't until 2 but they checked us in anyway which was great, asked us if we wanted rooms with bath and shower or just shower. Rooms are basic but v clean, we had a double bed and a single in our room, the other room had a double bed and sofa. Bathroom was basic but clean and the shower had adjustable head for massage or light shower, which was great. Soap and shampoo is provided, and tea making facilities too. There was an internet plug for a laptop in our room but we did not use it. Bed was ok, a bit lumpy but the aircon/heating was great as we were a bit chilly after standing in the Park for hours! We were on the fourth floor, the street noise from below was hardly noticeable unless the window was open but Parnell st isn't a busy street. Breakfast was 9.40 euros, good value, loads of choice. Taxis are right outside the door. Tesco Metro is right across the road. Good value hotel all round

Pleased with the hotel, easy walking into the city and more importantly bedrooms were quiet. Hotel arranged a cheaper taxi for us back to the airport. An excellant base for a city break.

Good hotel, central location. The room was clean and the staff were really helpful, even printing out timetables for transport for us. Only downside was the bureau de change was quite pricey but that's expected with hotels.

I was very pleased with our stay at Jury's Inn. The #1 important thing about hotels for me is how clean the rooms are, and Jury's Inn succeeded in that. It's really cozy and comfortable. I liked our view to Parnell street with it's little cafe's, and stores. It's not very far away from the center. it took us about 10 min to walk there, but we are new Yorkers and walking is a lifestyle for us. I loved it. It's affordable, cute, simple, comfortable.

My nine-year-old daughter and I stayed there upon arrival in Dublin (from U.S.) for one night. The location is very convenient to O'Connell Street and surrounding sites. The neighborhood is fine, and our room was very quiet. It's about a five-minute walk from the O'Connell Street stop on the Aircoach bus route from the airport, and about a 10-minute walk from Busaras, the central bus station. I didn't check to see whether the hotel has an airport shuttle service. The hotel itself was clean and seemed to be well run. I have no complaints. If you're looking for atmosphere, this isn't the place--it's a basic, bland facility that could be anywhere in the world. But for what we needed--a convenient, inexpensive, comfortable place to spend one night--it is fine. I would stay there again.

This hotel had all of the amenities it mentioned as well as extra things (like the adapter). The bar in the hotel was nice, especially when I was just to beat to go out, but not quite ready to call it a night. They were also very helpful with allowing me to store my luggage in the luggage room before and after my stay. This was a very accommodating hotel!!

I stayed here for U2 Weekend in Dublin. It was in the perfect location. About 15 minutes walking distance from Croke Park, and was right off O'Connell Street, one of the main streets with lots of restaurants and shopping, and plenty of pubs. If you're thinking of staying here for an upscale-ish experience, it's definitely not (think Comfort Inn here in the US, but just a tad nicer). Had to pay for in-room internet access.

But sure meets the basics. This particular Jurys Inn is at the top of O'Connell street and very convenient to the Henry Street shopping, and local theater. It is certainly within walking distance to the southeast and southwest sides of the city as well, although there are some Jurys Inns that are closer to those areas of the city.

For one of the nights in Dublin we got this hotel so we'd experience a different side of dublin. But other than the one street with the stores there isn't much around it. We found ourselves wanting to be in the SE and SW portion of Dublin most of the time. So I would recommend a hotel in the temple bar area over this one. It was a 10 - 15 min walk to Temple Bar.

Great location near O'Connell street (and central tourist information office, hop on hop off bus stop, stop for the Airlink bus from the airport, shopping, conveience stores, etc.) and within easy walking distance of Temple Bar, the river, Trinity Colege, and other attractions. Excellent breakfast, hospitable staff, and relatively quiet (when we checked in we asked for a room as high as possible and not on the street). Only complaint was the high cost of the internet service--you're much better off using one of the many internet cafes in the the area.

Nice clean hotel with a bar & restaurant. Room was comfortable with a good view. Breakfast cost $6.50 euro for continental and $9.50 euro for full. We got a full even though we only paid for a contintental. Good location near Henry and O'connell Street which has shops and a few bars. It would be about a 15 minute walk to Temple Bar area for your bars. Convenient to airport. We took the AirLink Bus 747 which we found out had a stop right across the street from the hotel even though we walked about 5 minutes to the other stop. Roundtrip cost $10 euro.

We have stayed in other Jurys Hotels in the Uk and were totally happy with the Jurys Inn Parnell Street . We arrived in Dublin early, normal check in was not until 2pm the front desk where very helpful and gave us a room that was available . The shopping area is on the door step and only a short walk to the night life of Temple Bar. The food was good quality and very competative in price. "Great Value for Money!"

The hotel location is awesome! In the shopping district and walking distance to temple bar, dublin castle. The hotel does not have parking, so consider this when staying here. Although, I don't think any hotel in this area offers parking. Our overnight parking was 15 euro, but quite a walk to the hotel and this was the closest one.

Jurys Inn on Parnell street is just left at the top of O'Connell street, the main street on Dublins north side and home to the famous GPO. Staff were friendly and it was possible to check in at 10.00, although a room with only a shower (no bath) was available at this time. Breakfast was very good and there was plenty of choice. Perfect for a short stay and fairly central, about a 5 min walk to Temple bar and the city center.

The hotel staff is very rude and has no knowledge of the surrounding areas or Ireland itself (maybe one person working there was actually Irish). We needed an outlet converter for american appliances and the hotel always claimed they were out. When asked where to buy one, several staff members said they were positive (and other guests had purchased converters) at the grocery store across the street; the grocery store informed us that they have never sold converters. None of the staff had any idea where to have a nice quiet dinner and parking is a nightmare. On our last night, we needed to relax due to a 5:45am wake up for an 8am flight the next morning. At 11pm, screaming children were running up and down the hall and slamming doors. At 11:30, two drunk men had an argument outside our hotel door. I went to the front desk to complain and the attendants' response was "This is Dublin, what do you want us to do?" I asked for security to come to the floor to take care of the noise, security never came to the floor. I live infront of the Brooklyn bridge, noise is not a problem for me but the walls and doors are so thin, you can hear others using the bathroom next door. I will never stay at this hotel again and I suggest that if you're visiting Ireland, stay at the Gresham on O'Connell Street, it makes the Jury's look like Chucky Cheese.

Very well located (just off O'Connell street) meaning you can easily walk to the attractions, shopping, temple bar and its close to the bus stops to the airport. There was some noise from outside but this was minimal and didn't affect sleep. However the heating was temprimental.

Stayed for one night when going to a gig at the Ambassador which is literally accros the street from the hotel. Went elsewhere for breakfast but the hotel menu seemed reasonable. Friendly staff, nearby parking and would definitley stay here again.

The hotel is really well located and even though we were on the front of the building we couldn't hear evening or morning traffic. The hotel bar and restaurant is expensive and breakfast is 13.50 euros for buffet. We went across the road to a cafe and paid 5 euros.
