Mercure Bergamo Palazzo Dolci - Bérgamo

We used this hotel just for one night after flying to Bergamo. It's very close to the railway station. A clean, comfortable and well serviced hotel. Breakfast was good.

Great hotel if using the train station as it's just a five minute walk away. Modern design & clean, but only has a small lobby area. Would definitely recommend. Would need to get a bus if going to old part of town which is the most picturesque area.

Stay here at the last minute to get a look at the "old City" of Bergamo before heading for Dublin. Staff was ok, but certainly not rude. lobby is small hotel does'nt offer alot of frills if you were to spend time at the hotel. Very close to train station, and plenty of buses from the train station to Bergamo Airport (about a 10 minute ride) Good hotel for the price.

very convenient hotel as you can walk easily from the railroad station and to the bus depot for busses to lakes and also back to railroad station to take the bus to Bergamo airport. the outside is attractive - a pink palazzo exterior that makes you think you are in for a real italian historic hotel. What a let down when you enter the minimalist modern lobby, and your even more minimalist room which is very small and has ultra modern no frills furniture. bathroom is very modern- no marble here. one wall covered completely by celing to floor curtain that also covers the window thus making you think the window is the entire wall until you open the curtain. you have to stick your room key in a slot in the room for the lights to work. bathroom very modern and room very clean. staff efficient but not overly friendly. nothing romantic or evocative of italy here. but a great location. they serve a relatively expensive prix fixe breakfast but who would do that since on that very block there are at least 3 lovely cafes with outside tables and wonderful coffe and italian breakfast choices. go walking outside the hotel to the left ( opposite direction from the train and bus stations) and there are beautiful old buildings with all the charm that this hotel lacks. walk for about 10-15 minutes viewing the lovely buildings and you get to the funicular stop that takes you up the hill to the Ancient city called Citta Alta which is extremely charming. one funicular day ticket is good for a second funicular that takes you even further up to ruins and a gorgeous view and is also good for all buses and the bus to the Bergamo airport. a great deal.

The Mercure Bergamo Palazzo Dolci is a modern hotel providing good quality room facilities. The breakfast was a good standard catering to most European tastes. The hotel is central for the main shopping street and not too far from the old town. A city worth a visit.

The air conditioning unit was very loud.

We had to catch an early flight out of Bergamo and just needed a place to stay that was close to the airport. We came on the train from Milan and the hotel was 2 min walk from the station. The airport bus stop was also at the station and leaves every half hour. The hotel was very clean the the room was quite big. The personel was very freindly and service minded.

Veldig bra hotell. Fine rom, god seng, fresht bad, tv med masse filmer til 8 euro. Dusjen var kjempebra, og badet var tilrettelagt handicappede. Vi hadde egen balkong og rommet var stort! Vi var innom en natt før vi skulle hjem, så dette var kun for at vi skulle rekke flyet dagen etter, men jeg ville absolutt reist tilbake, Hotellet anbefales!!

Hotellet ligger i kort gangavstand til bussterminal og togstasjon og i Bergamos hovedgate. Kort vei til shoppingmuligheter og restauranter. Rene rom med fin lyssetting og stort og fint bad. Veldig godt lydisolert og klimaanlegget fungerte bra.

Godt hotel for par, ikke egenet for boernefamilier.

Facile d'accès (près de la gare), avec un parking à proximité, mais un peu loin du centre historique. Personnel aimable et très serviable. Chambres impeccables, avec une belle déco et très calmes Bref, une très bonne adresse que je recommande

Beliggenhet, bekvemlighet - og elegant bad!

Pagando poco (il minimo della tariffa in Intenet), mi aspettavo una camera di basso livello, come mi è già capitato in altre occasioni...invece camera stupenda, con tutto ciò che si vede nella presentazione in rete. Albergo pulitissimo e bagni forniti di tutto quanto serve. Personale giovane, ma professionale, veloce e gentilissimo. Un'ottima esperienza. Da ripetere.

bien situé en ville pour faire de nombreuses visites de la ville à pied.

Godt hotell til en god pris. Vi hadde kjempeflaks med været og satte stor pris på ett glass vin på balkongen . I resepsjonen var de svært hjelpsomme og vennlige....

har inget negativt att säga om hotellet
