Loved the Pullitzer. So convenient to everything. Price was way too high but there was a convention in town and all hotel prices were high. Would stay there again in a minute. Desk people were very nice, too. Have them recommend the little tapas restaurant 2 blocks away - yum!

The hotel itself is great, the rooms are kind of small, especially for 2 people. The lobby is very nice, the location very central, the rooftop bar is cool, but overpriced. The wireless internet service in the room was sometimes spotty, it was much better in the lobby. Consider a different hotel if you are not alone and plan to spend some time in your room.

This hotel has a very nice staff, perfect location, and nice rooms. The staff was very helpful and the restaraunt and bar were overpriced but nice. There is a starbucks next to the hotel to avoid the expensive breakfast. The only downside to this hotel was the noise. The street and Las Ramblas were minimally noisy but the walls were hollow and we heard our neighbors and the cleaning staff all the time! I have never seen such a noisy hotel, everything else was perfect though. The location is great!

I recently stayed at the pulitzer. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I could not believe that they had free internet wireless. This is a big plus if you are a business traveller. The location was excellent eg close to metro, tourist bus, airport bus stop, areas of interest like the cathedral. The hotel was pretty clean. The decor was boutique style and I would say pretty nice. The room mini-bar did not seem that expensive. The downside of the hotel decor was slightly shabby and could do with a few changes eg repaint the rooms and change the carpet in the corridor,. This I must stress are not major faults that I could see and did not fully ruin the charm of the hotel.

My husband and I spent five days in Barcelona. We enjoyed our stay at the Pulitzer Hotel, which was conveniently located and very stylish. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar/lounge. While our room was on the small side, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful.

The Pulitzer was wonderful- ideal location, walking distance to just about everywhere; the people at the front desk were extraordinarily helpful with dinner recommendations, message delivery and overall courtesy. The only negative is that the rooms are quite small with no view and even difficulty seeing the sky! Lovely roof-top terrace.

I loved my stay at the Pulitzer. The location was central to the city, but the hotel was still quiet enough that it was quaint. I could walk to everywhere that I wanted to go. On my birthday, they surprised me by leaving birthday cake in my room. The staff was excellent. This place is worth the cost. It helped make my first trip to Barcelona a memorable one. I highly recommend it.

Great location - central but quiet. The room was comfortable and clean but a little narrow and was perhaps past its best. The bathroom, although clean and adequate was dark and slightly shabby for a 4 star hotel. The lounge and bar area were very well presented and a comfortable and pleasant place to relax. The breakfast was very good and we couldn't fault the service.

Good hotel, very well located, with helpful staff. Rooms are a bit small and narrow, but are well designed. There is a parking deal with the adjacent public underground car park, which is very useful: the entrance is across the road from the hotel lobby.

The hotel was great! You just can't beat the location. Next to two metro lines, hop on hop off buses and great places to eat. The customer service was wonderful, the rooms we're comfortable, the bar and restaurant we're good. the only downside, would be the thin walls, so I recommend a room away from the elevator and maybe a higher floor. But if I ever have the opportunity to go back to Barcelona, I will be staying at the Pulitzer.

The hotel's location is excellent, so close to the main shopping and restaurant areas (Ramblas) and open top tourist buses. Perfect as we had a limited amount of time in the city and none was wasted communting in. The staff were very polite and helpful, especially as our luggage was lost. Their English was excellent and I would recommend the breakfast and a cocktail on the roof terrace if you get the chance. Rooms small but comfortable, main areas on the ground floor surprisingly light and airy.

Great Lobby, with stylish and comfortable sofas and chairs. Nice bar area and restaurant with outdoor seating. Room was modern and nicely decorated with great wall art. Very beautiful hotel, right in the center of it all. Easy access to Las Ramblas, transportation and a famous coffeeshop on the corner. Will stay here again!

The Pulitzer is a stylish hotel in a wonderful location just off Placa Catalunya - convenient for the Ramblas, the Gothic quarter etc. The rooms are very comfortable and stylishly decorated with a minimalist touch. The service is excellent - as befits a 4* hotel; during our stay nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The 6th floor roof terrace is simply stunning and a lovely place for an early evening drink - truly good cocktails. We didn't eat any meals at the hotel although the ground floor restaurant and outside courtyard (for breakfast) looked very chic and comfortable and the menu offered some delicious-sounding food. The inside bar and lounge area on the ground floor was a great place just to sit and relax, read, write etc. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough.

My wife and I spent three nights here: I can only comment on the room and the reception staff as we did not use the other facilities at all; we pretty much just slept there. The location is excellent, all the modernist architecture (Gaudi and co) are to the North and North-East, you are at the top of La Rambla (The famous shopping Street) which takes you to the Port area and most of the other locations of interest (Old Town etc.) are east of La Rambla. We managed a whistle stop tour of just about all of it in three (long) days. You could easily spend a week there. Staff were very good; snug but comfy and clean room, could do with a fridge but I am being picky there really. Reception staff were helpful; I needed a plug adaptor and advice on the best way of getting to the New Camp and they were happy to store our luggage on the last day (no charge). Bar and eatery looked fine but we did not use them and no time to venture to the health spa either.
