Citea Tilsit - Etoile - París

Good points: The staff did speak English 77% of the staff was very helpful. Julie was good and another man also. The Arc De Triumph is only two blocks away! The Eiffel Tower is about 7 Blocks away-walking distance! The bus pick up location for Charles D Airport is 100yds away! There is a reasonably priced Pizza restaurant(The Prestige) next door and their food is great! Highly recommend this. Close by (about 3-4 blocks) to street merchants selling fruits and veggies and a great pastry shop(Paul's) with very reasonable prices ( paid 1 Euro for some kind of delicious pastry thing that was filling). Slightly more upscale restaurants will charge about $100 USD for a meal for two (won't do that again, ouch). The hotel price is fine for what you get. If you want something better search for something as close to this location as possible. Rooms do have air conditioning, yes!!! Rm#504 has a small fridge and stove top, etc. I would stay here again at this price mainly for the great food next door and the bus pick up point. I found Paris streets rather cluttered and dirty...not what I expected. And the little park just before the Eiffel Tower reeked of urine...so walk around this. My image of Paris was deflated however I did enjoy the city of Thionville in France. Bad points: 33% of the staff was useless with directions and anything else. Shower heads need simple cleaning of rust to restore spray. Only one tiny trash can in the bathroom...need one for bedroom Rm #501 has no view...it's a view between two buidlings. T'stat trouble in #502 and mold on tiles. Hotel wants a 15 Euro (about $18 usd) deposit to use your calling card. Non-refundable unless you make no calls. Tv was pretty small(about 18") and very slow channel changing People talking/partying loud on street all nite...difficult to sleep. Evidence of forced door attempted entry on rooms #502 & #504. Carpets are not worn down but they are aging and have stains (as do some of the furniture) Rooms really have to much

The hotel couldn't have been in a better location! It is about 100meters from the metro, and about 200meters from the Arc de Triumph. We had a wonderful view! The front desk staff spoke English and answered any questions we had. I put a 3 for condition or maintenance of the hotel because the grout in the window/corner in our shower was very moldy, but other than that we couldn't have asked for a better hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Citea Tilsit-Etoile. We felt like we had an extremely small penthouse suite. We were on the sixth floor facing the Eiffel Tower and the Arch de Triomphe with a nice view of both. There was a small spiral staircase up to a loft with a bed. My only small complaint is that we were promised a king sized bed and got two twins pushed together. They were comfortable though.

We were in Paris to attend a family Wedding. Being at the "Citea Tilsit - Etoile" was the icing on the cake. The staff were so very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a success. The locality of the Hotel was perfect for our stay and the views from our room (604) were breathtaking. This Hotel of thoroughly recommended for any person wanting to stay in Paris.

This place is not a hotel is a residence. The room condition and the service are terrible. I would never recomend to anyone.

Uitstekend hotel, incl. internet en ligging (vlak naast Air France bus en Metro Etoile. Disco maakt onmogelijk om vrijdag en zaterdag te vreblijven (tot 6 uur am)

Pratique, fonctionnel, propre et lumineux, ce petit hôtel se loge ne paye pas de mine mais offre tout ce dont on a besoin, en plus d'une localisation des plus stratégiques : Etoile, Champs-Elysées ...
