I really enjoyed our location, The Fan didn't work but the AC did. Nicely equipped rooms. I would recommend this hotel for the Money.

First off this hotel is called Mariner's Negril Beach Club Resort, and eventhough the map doesnt show the resort on the beach it is right on the water. The rooms were small, the tv didnt have a working remote, the tv buttons only went down in channels, the A/C worked well, the hot water takes a while but it works well, hotel food was great, had a buffet on friday night that was very good. Beyond all of these things, the safety of the resort is great, you feel very safe with security always walking around. The low price tag was a precursor to the above ills but its jamaica, and if your looking for a cheap place to crash at night after a long night of red stripes and rums, then this place is for you. If you are looking to spend some serious time in your rooms and not outside then i'd suggest you stay somewhere else.

I stayed at Mariner's Negril Beach Club in March 2009. The hotel is very well situated on the beach. It is close to restaurants, other hotels and the downtown area where you can get groceries, etc. The rooms are very basic, but they are clean. Our room did have a sizable refrigerator which was really useful for keeping food/drinks and a nice patio area for hanging out with friends. When I stayed at the hotel, it was full of college spring breakers. I would say this hotel is ideal for young college-age people but not for families or people with more expensive tastes. If you are looking for a basic, clean place to stay that is right on the beach, then this is a good hotel.

The Negril Beach Club Resort was a very clean and nice place to spend your vacation I was truely happy with the price and the staff was very nice, there were some remodeling going on the only problem I had because the resturant was closed is that you had to go out and find breakfast, lunch and dinner at the nearby hotel. But overall it wasn't so bad.

Hotel is part of an older time share project. Unit is very sparse, good beach area with several good returants in ez walking distance on the beach. Hotel resturant and bar shut down. Better hotels on the beach for less money, just have not joined Hotels.com inventory yet, so would be difficult to find to book. This was our 32nd trip to Jamaica so was not over expecting more than we bargained for. Staff pleasant and accomodating. Negril and Jamaica tourist traffic way down this year from previous visits. (Great time to solicit quality inventory at bargin prices for site users)

The resort recently changed hands and the new management is in the process of remodeling rooms and making extensive renovations and repairs. The hot tub was not available and the restaurant had very limited offerings. The waterfront bar was closed for renovations. Furniture needs to be replaced. There was no business center or computer available (although a friendly clerk allowed us to use the hotel's computer briefly). The location on the beach is great as was the price, but this will be a much better value after the renovations are completed.

I chose this hotel for a one night stop while touring around the island, I knew it was 2 star and I was on a budget. That said, I was surprised at how old the furnishings were. It was clean enough but really basic. The only toiletries provided was 1 small soap bar. While the hotel advertises an on-site restaurant, it was closed for the season. Fortunately there was a well supplied sundry store and the beach is really nice.

I couldn't believe the details. When i got there i found that it is actually part of a time share condo facility. the sign outside actually calls it Mariner's Negril Beach Club Resort. This was one of the things i only found out once i got there. Check in was ok, except that they didn't give me a remote for the A/C and the TV. The TV remote didn't work, but they cheerfully gave me another one. The front desk people were very helpful not only about restaurants, shops, etc., but also how to eat things like fruits i'd never seen before! Just remember that you can't expect this hotel to be like the ones you go to stateside. The standards for what is a good hotel vary from country to country and they are definitely lower here. Don't, for example, expect shampoo in the room, but you do get soap. The phone connects to the front desk, but they have to dial calls for you (for a charge). There was no extension cord for the TV and no cord connecting the phone to the jack. fortunately i had both, as the hotel didn't have any in "stock." in exchange for providing my own cords, they let me have my first few calls for free. I would definitely go back to this hotel...just had to learn that things are a little different. Not for people who are not going to try to be open minded and "go with the flow, mon!"

The people were nice, but that's where it ends. The power went out almost everyday which nicely complemented the 100 degree weather. There were large gaping holes around the frames of the windows and doors which allowed mosquitoes to get in while we slept. Aesthetically it was very run down. Definitely would never come back. Ever.

Bis auf die Klimaanlage war das Appartment super eingerichtet: Toaster, Mikrowelle, Herd, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine etc. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Nähe zum Strand ideal.
