Le 55 Montparnasse - París

This was my first visit to paris what an amazin city stunning! Looked about for hotels found this one was really nice close to the metro had everything could wish for. Was in really nice area lots of shops cafes ect about staff at hotel were really helpfull aswell booked moulin rough for us had to pay 11euros each for the tickets then the rest when we got there but they didn't tell us it was first come first serve so be carefull apart from that everything was great.

The Best think about this hotel was the location, literaly across the road from the Metro station and after a long day sight seeing getting off the metro it was just perfect. There are quite a few places to eat close by and 2 small supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk so if you don't want to spend a fortune on lunches and water you can just go down and purchase them for a lot cheaper. The room was small with no A/C but what do you expect in France, it was ok with the window open at night just got woken up at 6am with the trash guys going by. But the overall experince was great and the staff were friendly and tried to help us when we needed questions answered in English.

Our hotel room was much larger than we anticipated. We'd just come from a hotel on the French/Spanish border that was tiny. We were told to expect the same from any hotel in France. So we were happy to find a roomy place with two big windows (one in bathroom & other in bedroom). The breeze coming in was wonderful. It was very clean and modern. Also - it was only a block from the metro station and had everything you needed surrounding the hotel (bakery, restaurants, grocery store, laundry, internet cafe). The staff all spoke English which was nice. And they were available all day & night. They were friendly but didn't seem to like being asked questions. Also, some of the signage in the hotel conflicted with what they told us..such as: leave the key with the front desk anytime you exit the hotel. Then the desk clerk got annoyed when we tried to leave the key with him. The wi-fi available was set to send a password to your cell phone. Our phones didn't work in France so I tried to call the helpline and found that our room phone didn't work either. When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk he got annoyed and said he wasn't there to fix phones and asked what I expected him to do. Despite the curtness of the front desk people, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Even families would benefit from this location and the seemingly secure neighborhood /hotel.

I selected this hotel on the basis of other favourable reviews. However we were very disappointed with the standard of the hotel, the room was very small and shabby. The room was very hot even though the weather outside wasn't particularly warm and there was no air conditioning although there was a fan provided. It was a long way out of town with poor facilities nearby.

There is no a/c in the rooms, which is okay since there is a fan. But if you open the windows at night, there are no window screens so mosquitoes are sure to fly in the room. I was badly bitten by the bugs at night but other than that, the stay was great!

Its small apartment type hotel in middle of Montparnasse, room was small but comfortable for 2, cleanliness was excellent, bathroom was good enough sized with bath tub. Location was good, next to metro station 13min to champs Elysee. Pasis cycle stands were next to hotel. Breakfast was not included but 7.5e for breakfast buffee was cool.

Check in/out : was good. with kindness. check in time was 14:00 Room : room size is small, but enough to stay 2 person. Drinking water : not available. you should buy. Shower : water pressure was good TV : about 13 channels with movie, news, documentary, 1 adult (after 22:30) Cleanness : it was clean except carpet. (an oriental man's point of view) Location : very close with metro. good to go anywhere. there are bakery, supermarket, shops, fruit store, restaurants, ..... nearby.

Lovely hotel in montparnasse area, minute walk to metro to access all the lovely sights of paris. Has supermarket, wine shops, cake stores etc all in same road. Lovely bistro at end of the road. Room was small, but totally equipped for weekend. If your going for sight seeing all you need is somewhere to sleep and shower. The room was cleaned, with fresh bed linen and towels everyday. Staff were very helpful and polite. Would highly recommend and would go back.

pleased with hotel,hotel was also reasonable priced, to get to eiffel tower etc, we used metro with was r cheapest option , it was also handy , we were getting on , and off trains within 3mins, disney land, is bout an hr from this hotel, we had to use 3 metro trains to get there

Le 55 Montparnasse is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the metro station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. There are several restaraunts and cafes nearby.

We spent 6 days in Paris and were pleased with this hotel. It was great for the deal that we got on hotels.com. The pictures posted online do make the rooms look nicer than they are but it was very comfortable for a European hotel. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean and the neighborhood quiet. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors above and below you and the hotel staff is not always the friendliest. Overall though it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed our time there.

Great hotel for the price.

The hotel is not plush by any means it is good enough to crash after a whole day of sightseeing. The room size is small especially as compared to American standards which is to be expected in paris. The hotel was clean and close to a metro station - which makes it convenient to reach other locations. There are some quaint stores around the hotel for some cheap eats.

For a budget hotel it's great! Located right next to the metro in a nice district with lovely bakeries the hotel is small but modern and clean and the staff were very pleasant.

Great location, right beside a metro station, located in a lovely area. Room was modern and clean just like the photo. The bathroom was clean and shower and bath were nice. I would reccomend this hotel and definately return. Staff were helpful.

If you have travelled a lot sometimes you just need a simple place to rest and sleep for a fair price. This hotel is such a place. The room is small and not the sort for entertaining guests. But the bed was new and very comfortable, the linen was new and clean, the bathrom was small but functional, the TV worked and you could open the window on to the street. I have no french but the one staff member I met was very good to me in English and I enjoyed my one night stay. I would happily return. Comfort and value without the expensive frills you rarely need. Strongly reccomended.

Exactly what I expected. Great location, clean, devoid of luxuries.

The location of the hotel was convenient to most of the tourist spots, a 10-15minute train ride to just about most of the tourist destinations. The staff was extremely helpful especially the guy at the morning desk. They give useful and valuable information. The rooms were clean, well kept and maintained and modern. Even a nice little tub for a bath soak at the end of a long day. It was good value as I was offered 3 nights for the price of 2. It is also in a safe part of the city where there are lots of Chinese and Turkish eating outlets and cafes too. A supermarket just down the road. A lovely bakery just below the hotel, a great way for me to start my day, buy my lunch and snacks for the day!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a quick weekend getaway. The price couldn't be beat since we used hotel.com's special weekend rate. Here were the pluses that we saw: right down the street from Pernety metro (allows you to get to most tourist attractions in about 10 minutes), contemporary rooms, two great bakeries close by the hotel, and a welcoming staff. The minuses were: the lift is broken until it is replaced so you have to use the tight staircase(to compensate the hotel staff are willing to help you move your bags up and down the stairs)and our room was a little bit dusty. Overall we had an excellent time. It may be small, but most Paris hotels are small. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient, cheap, and safe place to stay.

Rooms were small but efficient. Service was atrocious though.Seen as no hot water facilities for tea/coffee were provided I requested a cup of hot water on 2 occasionsfrom 2 different staff and was met with hostility the first time and downright abuse the 2nd.Apparently a cup of hot water is "too expensive".This is not a 3*hotel.

Perfect base for Paris trip. Close proximity to Metro, but far enough out from centre to experience non-tourist side of Paris. Situated on road with lovely fromagerie, boulangerie etc. Staff cheerful and helpful. Room very clean and bed comfortable, what more could you want!

I have stayed at different Paris hotels, but this was by far the cleanest and the most convenient. The hotel has been newly refurbished and the location is superb! It was especially good as we stayed 3 nights and got a discount!

This hotel was absolutely perfect. It is located right across from the Pernety Metro stop, which makes getting around very easy. The staff are friendly and willing to go the extra step for guests. We had them make reservations for us at local restaurants and they were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and overall the rooms were very quiet. I would stay here next time without a doubt. The desk is staffed 24/7 as well. Great little bakery right downstairs. Did not pay for breakfast as there are plenty of locations in Paris to eat. If you are looking for luxury and lots of service/amenities then this would not be a location for you, but if you are looking for a safe, clean room in a nice neighborhood, then book this place with no worries.

I recently returned from a 12 night stay at the Kyriad Montparnasse and was very satisfied with the incredible level of service and appointments. English-speaking staff were a tremendous asset, and it was a home away from home. Lyliane was particularly helpful and kind! I would definitely return to this hotel.

I was impressed by this hotel, it really is so close to Pernety metro which is on the same line as the Musee D'Orsay, Louvre and Champs Elysee. Just one change to the other attractions. The staff were friendly enough, with a comfortable lobby with newspapers to read. Bathroom was a good size and everything was there (though how I wish French hotels would put coffee and tea into rooms- it makes such a difference!)

very friendly staff...called the van to take us to charles degualle airport for return flight to boston...room was simply decorated and very clean...good location in active neighborhood...overall we had a very good stay...also close to train station when we arrived from la rochelle

Real comfy beds, close to a metro stop

Pros: Nice room decor, close to Metro station, non-tourist area, fairly nice front desk staff. Cons: Bad maintenence (for instance, elevator out of order for over a week), No A/C, horrible parking situation (five blocks away in an unsafe, filthy garage), Even with 'do not disturb' sign up, housekeepers frequently enter room without knocking, and worst of all -- terribly thin walls (even with earplugs we heard everything).

Heerlijke buurt. Metrostation zeer dichtbij. Keurig en schoon hotel. Wel erg gehorig! De kamer was erg krap bemeten, maar het bed was riant en de badkamer was ruim genoeg en comfortabel.

Don't expect a luxury hotel at this price, but a good basic hotel where everything that you need is available. The rooms aren't big - but they are big enough for even a longer stay. The room we stayed in was located on the back side of the hotel and we has the overview of a nice quiet street - quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. There are no air condition in the hotel room - for us it wasn't a problem until the day temperature passed 35 degree celcius... The location is good - the Pernety metro station is ~100 m away from the entrance. When going out in the evening then take the metro two stops to the Gare Monpanasse station - there are many greath resturants to the east of the station on Bd Edgar Quinet and in the near by streets.

The 55 Montparnasse is a small hotel situated in the calm Montparnasse area - outside the city centre (= calm at night) but only 50 m from the nearest metro (=easy to get around). The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms look nice and they are clean! - They are quite small though, but I hadn't come to Paris to spend time in the room, and for sleeping it was fine. I had not ordered breakfast before arriving, but it was possible to have breakfast at the hotel as much or little as desired and pay for it when leaving - I thought that was an okay service... All in all I felt welcome and had a very nice stay at the 55 Montparnasse.

Hotelem Le 55 Montparnasse jsem byla příjemně překvapena.Hotel byl čistý, výborná poloha vzhledem k metru, v blízkosti možnost občerstvení.Jediná výtka by padla na velikost pokojů, byly malé, ale čisté. V recepci byli všichni velmi příjemní a ochotně nám poradili. Pokud mí přátelé pojedou do Paříže, určitě jim hotel doporučím.

Μόλις έκαναν ανακαίνιση στα έπιπλα, και το έβαψαν μεσα-έξω. Είναι 50 μέτρα απο το μετρό γραμμή 13 στάση Penerty.

Leider gab es keinen Kleiderschrank und keine Kommode - definitiv nichts um seine Kofferutensilien irgendwo hinzupacken. Das Frühstücksbüffet war gut. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber, das Personal eher zurückhaltend. Die Lage war super, kaum 100 m von der Metrostation Pernety entfernt und sehr angenehmes Viertel mit vielen kleines Bars und kleinen Geschäften sowie kleinen Straßen. Die Lautstärke des Straßenverkehrs war daher für Pariser Verhältnisse absolut geringfügig.

hotel dans un quartier calme et sympa chambre tres propre et relativement spacieuse pour Paris. deco moderne tres appreciable. Parfois un peu bruyant si les voisins ne font pas attention. accueil de qualité excepté un des gardien qui a été un peu trop familier avec nous. Dommage que la station de metro pernety à 50m de l'hotel soit un peu isolée du reste du reseau... Parfait pour notre petit we en amoureux

Ett okej hotell med rena och fräscha rum ca 20 minuters tunnelbaneresa till Notre Dame.

Et lille men pænt møbleret hotelværelse med forholdsvis nyt inventar. Pænt stort badeværelse med badekar. Der mangler opbevaringsplads til tøjet, intet klædeskab eller komode.Mange gode fødevarebutikker i samme gade.

Hotellet var ok - men helelr ikke mere. Møblementet fint - men vægge m.m. meget slidte. Da vi tjekkede for glemte sager under sengen inden afrejse, lå der en gammel sok (ikke vores), et stykke sammenkryllet papir og en masse nullermænd. - Så der bliver ikke gjort hovedrent ofte! Værelset var meget indelukket og lå ud mod en meget trafikeret vej. Ingen safety depositbox eller el-kedel.

Et hyggeligt hotel med en god lokal beliggenhed og tæt på metroen

Hotellet er lite og fint, og det ligger i et koselig strøk utenfor de verste turistområdene. Innredningen er veldig moderne og nyopppusset, og selve hotellet ligger ypperlig til rett ved en metrostasjon, Peterney, noe som er et stort pluss. I nabolaget ligger både bakeri, supermarked, restauranter og barer. Utmerket sted som utgangspunkt for å utforske Paris. Kan absolutt anbefales, og vi kommer til å velge dette hotellet hvis vi drar tilbake til Paris. Et lite minus er at frokost ikke er inkludert i prisen, den koster 10 euro utenom pr. person pr. dag, så det droppet vi. Kjøp heller fokost i bakeriet som ligger vegg i vegg med hotellet. Ellers et bra hotell, og nærheten til metroen, ca. 50 skritt å gå fra hotelldøren, trekker mye opp.

Vi befandt os på øverste etage og nød det. Vi holdt af vores gade hvor vi følte os trygge. Personalet i skranken var altid meget venlige. Vores værelse var overordentligt velpasset. Friske håndklæder hver dag hvis vi havde behov for det. Intet andet end lovord fra os, vi kan kun anbefale det. Også ultrakort til metro Pernety.

Το ξενοδοχείο Le 55 Montparnasse βρίσκεται σε μιά ήσυχη και ασφαλή ζώνη στο Παρίσι από όπου μπορεί ο καθένας να μετακινηθεί εύκολα με το ΜΕΤΡΟ προς το κέντρο,τα Μουσία,τα Πάρκα,τον Σικουνα κλπ Το προσωπικο ειναι ευγενίκό και πρόθυμο. Το πρωινό ειναι πλούσιο. Οι τιμές ειναι πολύ καλλες ως προς την γενική εικόνα του ξενοδοχείου

Très bien situé à côté du métro. Pas trop bruyant malgré la situation en centre ville. Propre. Equipe accueillant et pro.

Hotel sympa, chamnbre refaite à neuf et design. Bemol: petit espace. Bon plan pour un premier séjour à paris, par contre un peu loin du centre ville, mais acceptable en voiture ou en metro.

Chambre un peu petite mais récemment rénovée. Propre. Personnel accueillant et souriant. Attention pas de climatisation dans les chambres, juste un ventilateur. Petit déjeuner moyen. Un effort est nécessaire de ce côté-là.
