Do not expect any sort of service Was told the hotel does not have heating and when asked for extra bed sheets or duvet was told hotel does not have any, Morning assistants ok Night ones more busy smoking and talking to friends outside, Not a safe hotel

Everything in real is smaller than you see from the photo. Also, bathroom is quite bad, always hot and cold water switching all the time even you dont adjust anything. If you meet big guy and white hair receiption, he is very bad an impolite but others are okay and nice.

We picked this hotel due to the location for Eurostar, metro etc and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though quite small. Was a bit noisey at night, but again ok for short city break. Only thing missing was a bar fridge which would be helpful. Great location, Metro and Nord across the street, walking distance to a alot of attractions. All in all a great hotel for a short trip to Paris.

This was my first visit to Paris and the hotel was in the perfect location being opposite the station where the Eurostar arrives. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and made us feel welcome and gave us advice on how to get around and what sights we should go and see. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The family room we stayed in was very small and basic, as you would expect from a 2* hotel. However the beds were comfortable (but small) and the bathroom was clean. It was a 2 minute walk to the train station. Lots of good cafes nearby for lunch/dinner and a metro station at the door. Very convenient if you want to stay for a short time and not spend loads of time in your room.

This small hotel (with tiny lift) is very handy for the Gard du Nord station, and there are a few cafes around. The best quality was the Terminus Nord dating from the 1920s. The hotel was being redecorated when we stayed, and our room still smelled of paint so we asked for another room, which was provided. Once the refurbishments are complete, it will be better but it was adequate. The rooms themselves were comfortable and quite stylish - more so than the exterior and environs would suggest.

I've stayed at a lot of hostels and hotels, and I camp a lot, too. This was by far the worst place I've ever stayed. Granted, the location is nice, when you arrive at Gare du Nord, you can walk across the street to the hotel, but this is the only plus. The staff is extremely rude. I've been in Paris 3 times, I speak a lot a French, and I've dealt with a lot of French character. In addition, I've traveled all over the world including third world countries, but these guys were by far the worst I've ever dealt with. I had a sick sister in my room and they wouldn't let me take food to her. I tried to use the internet, and they said I was too stupid to understand it. Rude, rude, rude. In a service industry, people like this should be put out of business. Besides that, the rooms are terribly small, the showers spray all over the bathroom, and the middle floor is under construction, for which they thought it would be a good idea to have demolition going at 8 am on new year's day. In addition, the hot water was "under repair" meaning we had the choice of either scalding hot water or freezing cold water. This place is absolutely terrible. I would rather sleep in the subway than stay here again.

Was a decent stay in an excellent location. Concierge friendly and helpful. Strange pillows though, but no complaints given the prompt service and good cleanliness.

On top of subway station, across from Gare du Nord. Small room, dusty and musty, but with AC. Very friendly staff. Minimal basic amenities, no breakfast included. Many good and reasonable restaurant close by. Excellent location for exploring the city and also to and from airports. The airport shuttle van will stop if booked.

The man working at reception was very helpful and friendly and spoke perfect English. My room was sort of small but big enough and had a decent shower, toilet on it's own, wardrobe with hangers, nice TV with 25 channels, bed-side table and pretty old-fashioned fully-opening windows, with an ornate safety railing. Plus, the hotel was very close to the opening to the Gare du Nord station; easy to find the hotel. It's probably best for young tourists or business people who aren't really bothered about living in luxury. I would use this hotel again.

As first time visitors to Paris we found the location of this hotel was perfect. The helpfullness of the desk staff was more than I had hoped for. He made us feel at home and was very knowledgeable. The room was simple but clean and cheerful. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is perfect if, like us you're only looking for somewhere safe to keep your luggage and belongings and somewhere to put your head down in between exploring the city. Smallish room but comfortable enough after a long day sight seeing. It was a bit of a trek to the main sights in Paris but extremely handy for the train station - Directly opposite the main terminal for eurostar. Also there were plenty of cafes and bars close by for eating. Overall what you would expect from a 2 star hotel.

This hotel is situated about 50 yards from the exit of Gare du Nord train station, and about 20 yards to the Gare du Nord Metro stop. Therefore, easy access to/from airport, trains to other countries and the Metro for exploring Paris. The room was typical size by European standards (your in Paris, why are you in your room?), and the bath was very roomy with a nice shower. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. There are many restaurants within 2 blocks of the hotel. I would recommend getting breakfast outside the hotel, because the breakfast at the hotel was only bread, juice and coffee and fairly expensive (6.50 Euros). It was a perfect location for my duaghter and me, with super easy access to airport, trains, Metro and McDonalds 2 blocks away. I would definatley stay here again and recommend it to others. This hotel is rated 2 star and that is what it is. There is a lift, which is also a plus.

This "New" hotel could stand a name change. The room we were given smelled of a hundred years of cigarette smoke. The room is small, but that is very typical of Parisian hotels, so no complaint can be given there. Our bed had no pillows on it. We had to go to the office to ask for 2 pillows. All in all the location and service at desk were the only positive points to this decaying "new" hotel.

My room was a construction zone. This is an old, dingy hotel - don't let the name fool you. And the renovation are not updating it state of the art. If you're looking for nothing more than a flop house right across from the train station, it'll do, but if you want anything more, look elsewhere.

The New Hotel is situated just opposite the Gare du Nord, so finding it was not a problem. The staff were extremely friendly and very informative. The room itself was basic but comfortable and clean, and despite its close location to the train station I had an uninterrupted nights sleep. The breakfast the following morning was again simple (croissant/bread with orange juice and a hot drink) and cost 6.00 euros, with the service again being extremely efficient and friendly. There is a metro station on the corner right outside the hotel which is easy to reach and use. I would not hesitate to stay again, many thanks.

conveinient local right by train station and good price but at least 20-30 min walk to sites. Good hotel. bit loud, but not too bad. NO breakfast included, however. Great for a budget traveler. We stayed one night.

The only good thing about this hotel was the receptionist who spoke English and was charming. Although we paid for a "superior room" and paid extra - we got a closet size room with a broken telephone. I could not sleep because of the traffic noise and we asked for non smoking but our room reeked of cigarettes.

Pas de télécommande et pas d'eau chaude le matin

Kleine, nette, schone kamer. Wel heel gehorig. Met ca. 6 feestende engelse dames in de aangrenzende kamer werd het een weekend met weinig slaap.

malgré la "petitesse" de la chambre, celle-ci est agréable, aucun bruit. J'ai vraiment aimé la proximité de l'hôtel avec la gare du Nord, il suffit juste de sortir à la sortie rue de saint quentin et l'hôtel se trouve juste en face. Personnel agréable, hôtel propre.

I only stayed one night & honestly picked the hotel more out of the convinient distance from Gare du Nord (trainstation) than anything else, it's literally situated across the road =) but the staff was so friendly & helpful and the room neat & tidy. comfy beds too =) will definatley recomend especially if you are travelling onwards via train.

Heilt ok hotell. Hadde fine, nyoppussa rom. Litt små rom, men fungerte heilt ok. Litt dårleg bad trekte ned. Hyggelege folk som gav gode råd viss me lurte på noko. Kan anbefalast til mindre opphold i paris.

Un hotel correct gare du nord

Det er et udmærket hotel, man får hvad man betaler for og lidt mere. Hotellet ligger lige overfor en station som man nemt kommer til fra lufthavnene - 1 min. Metroen 15 sec. Der er liv og mange spisesteder rundt om en, men gode vinduer, som lukker af for støj. Ingen pude i sengen, men det viste sig at den kunne blive hentet i receptionen. Morgenmaden ok, men fåes bedre på de mange spisesteder.

Hotêl quelconque, prix éléver par apport au service, sans petit déjeuner et pour un confort minimum. sont seul intêret réside dans le faite qu'il est en face de la gare du nord

Perfectly close to Gare du Nord but the room lousy and we got a smoker room even though we paid extra to upgrade. Stayed at 6th floor, the bed old and the paint in the bathroom was humid and scratched off.

Das hotel liegt zwar zentral aber in keiner attraktiven Gegend von Paris. Die Zimmer sind primitiv von der Einrichtung, nicht besonders sauber und ziemlich abgewohnt. Trotz mehrmaliger Bitte den Fußboden zu saugen, lagen auch nach drei tagen noch die abgeschnittenen Fußnägel des Vormieters auf dem Boden.

Das Hotel Kyriad am gare du Nord liegt in idealer Lage um es als Ausgangspunkt für einen Paristrip zu nutzen. Auch das betriebsame Leben am Gare du Nord war durch entsprechende Fenster kaum zu hören. Ebenso finden sich ordentliche Restaurants in der Nähe. Das etwas enge DZ war wohl gerade frisch renoviert,-ein starker (Maler-)Farbgeruch erfüllte das Zimmer. Auf dem frisch bezogenen Bett fanden sich Haare (vermutlich) von der dunkelhaarigen Putzfrau. Zimmertelefon sowie Fön funktionierten nicht. Auf meine Meldung der Störung erfolgte keine Bereinigung innerhalb des Aufenthalts. Das Bad war sauber und ok.Einer der concierges bot seine Hilfe als "Transporteur" an-indem er eine 1,7 km lange Fahrt zum Hopital St.Louis für 35.- Euro anbot , was ich dankend ablehnte - das später in Anspruch genommene Taxi kostete gerade 14.- Euro.

Ett bra budgetalternativ för en kortare parisvistelse. Vi valde ett fyrbäddsrum och var nöjda utifrån pris. Läget bra precis vid knutpunkten Gare du Nord med flera alternativ för såväl tunnelbana som pendeltåg. En del trafikljud från gatan utanför.

Nära till metro, buss och RER. Litet mysigt hotell, med väldigt trevlig och engagerad personal. Kan rekomenderas till alla. Vi bodde två nätter, två vuxna och två barn.

Les 2 étoiles se suivent et ne ressemblent pas. Gare du Nord, le plein semble assuré alors pourquoi s'embêter? Les photos du site sont plus que flateuses... Tout est approximatif dans cet hotel!

Återigen: under ombyggnad, smutsigt och brandfarligt

De eerste indruk van dit hotel is niet geweldig. De inkom is oud en groezelig en straalt absoluut geen netheid uit. Ik hield mijn hart vast voor de kamer... De kamer was echter spectaculair goed: schoon, in goede staat, beste badkamer die ik al ooit in een Frans hotel meemaakte, zelfs in hogere categorieën. Zeer comfortabel bed.

Pænt og rent hotel. Brusebad UDEN badekar. Absolut en fordel for mit vedkommende. Lidt skabsplads med hylder ville være godt, og et køleskab/minibar ville være helt fint, men desværre. Alt i alt dog et godt hotel med god service og beliggenhed lige overfor Gare du Nord.

Goed verblijf, nette kamer, prima startpunt om Parijs goed te verkennen.

Lit très confortable, chambre propre, la salle de bain sentait un peu le renfermé. nuisance extérieure: très faible pourtant le quartier est assez animé nuisance intérieure : uniquement la salle de bain du voisin télévision un peu trop haute par rapport au recul du lit petit déjeuner complet mais dans une partie du hall, donc en plein courant d'air

piccolo albergo di fronte alla gare du nord adatto a viaggi di affari per persone non troppo esigenti. La camera era fredda all'arrivo, poi abbiamo acceso il riscaldamento ed é andata bene. Pavimenti e doccia non sono pulitissimi, solo accettabili. Attualmente ci sono lavori in corso alla facciata esterna e non si vede nulla dalle finestre! illetto era molto comodo e l'arredamento abbastanza carino e funzionale.
