Hotel Kaiserhof - Anif

Our room was unbearably hot and the small fan they provided was unbearably loud. There was a discotech on the 1st floor, so a room on a lower floor that was less hot would have been noisy. This was not a 3 star hotel as claimed.

This is a great place if you have a car and don't mind a little background noise. It is very clean and nice, and free parking (very rare in Europe). A few minutes to downtown Salzburg, nice staff, and pretty good price. Only complaint is that loud music plays in the bar until very late (until 6 am one night) which could be heard throughout most of the hotel, as well as some street noise. Overall though, a nice place.

This hotel was somewhat o.k. The breakfast was not included and very expensive ( 7 euros per person)for what was offered. This hotel was extremely loud. We all had a very difficult time falling asleep and staying asleep. Noisy people coming and going at all hours and tour buses dropping off their tours in the middle of the night. This hotel is also quite far from Salzburgs city center. The bus into town cost the four of us 11.20 one way, So when we left the hotel every morning we didn't come back until late evening. You also must be very aware of the bus schedule as the bus schedule is very different on weekends.

We enjoyed the hotel greatly. It's a beautiful centuries-old building that has been kept up and remodeled to meet 21st century needs. Travelling with our 8 and 10-year-olds, we particularly liked the availability of a family room with a bunk bed for the kids, plus a king bed. The breakfast is also very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the mattress was firm. WiFi in the rooms was available at EUR 7.00/day. The breakfast was very good, plentiful, and available until 10am. The only possible downside we noticed was some noise from both the road and the dance club on the ground floor (weekend only). But the family room is on the 3rd floor and we slept fine. The price is certainly high, but in the vicinity of Salzburg, I haven't found a better value.

Værelse kan ikke udluftes ordentligt. Hotellet tæt på trafikeret vej. Lørdagsbal holdt os vågne til 02.00, voldsomt støjende diskotek. Larm fra parkeringspladsen af fulde unge. Personalet flinkt og hjælpsomt.

Ett helt ok medelklass hotel, verkar vara familje ägt med trevlig personal. Gammeldags inredning, väldigt mycket ett typiskt alp hotell. En del orginal i baren, dock väldigt trevliga:) För priset så kan jag rekommendera det, om ni är ute efter mordernt och arkitekt ritat så leta vidare...

Room very very clean, but there was an heavy smell of smoke !!! It's better to ask for a No Smoking room.
