We were quite disappointed in the location of this hotel. After a long, tiring and often delayed day of flying we were not happy that the complimentary shuttle to the airport was no longer running. We were even more disenchanted when our "airport" hotel was a $25 cab ride away. It is several miles from the airport.

Having stayed in Hiltons before, I wanted to try something different, but due to a busy weekend in Dublin had to settle for this Hilton, out of town. It was as expected from a Hilton - clean and tidy - rooms airconditioned and a good size - great breakfast, etc. The next night we stayed at the Maldron in Dublin, near the river, a 4 star - and I wished I'd stayed a second night at the Hilton instead! Hilton was much nicer - but without the pool. I'd recommend it - and the staff were nicer as well.

Hotel staff vey helpful, rooms very goog and very clean, transport into dublin very accessible usually taxis straight outside, breakfast was very good and free parking. What more could you ask for!!!

Went to the Hilton, and did not get what i payed for, I found women tolets in a bin in the room, Got them to move it , was not much of a sorry or we will make sure they do not do this again.After that i did not feel the room was clean, Its not the Hiltons i spent in London or New York.

Excellent hotel and great value. Only 10 minute shuttle to aiport yet away from the airport noise. Dinner in the bar was good and no more expensive than the rest of Ireland! Did not try the restaurant~

thought the prices were high but after being in dublin we decided they were reasonable shuttle bus a big plus staff very friendly and helpful.

the hotel and staff made are stay at the hotel a great break and we look forward to the next time overall a excellent hotel.

Just didn't expect half of the clientele to be wearing hoodies and trainers - what a pity this lovely hotel has to take any custo it can get due to the recession

i traveled to ireland with my elderly father and met a few unforeseen challenges. the staff including the shuttle van driver were all very helpful. we enjoyed our stay however brief - we stayed one night.

FREE SHUTTLE WAS GREAT, RECEPTIONIST PLEASANT BUT ROOM WAS AVERAGE AND THE BED WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE.. WINDOWS DO NOT OPEN IN ROOMS AND RESTAURANT LITTLE OVERPRICED.

Excellent, really nice Hotel, very clean, close to the airport and free transport included.

Got a deluxe room for half the normal price, included breakfast. We had to catch an early morning flight so were offered continental breakfast.

staff at reception very polite but unfortunately their command of English language is not good. When in Ireland I would like to be greeted by Irish people. It is a big mistake to have a tv set in the same area as the bar. The evening I was there with my family we had a meal in the bar and it was ruined by the shouting and clapping of a group who were watching a rugby match. You do not need a tv in this area as if someone wants to watch something they can do so in their room. The lounge seats in this area are not very comfortable.

Would definitely go back to the Airport Hilton in Dublin. The room was spacious for the & we couldn't have been happier when we discovered they had an American outlet!! We also loved the pillows. The staff was very helpful with information & with giving us a wake up call & getting a taxi when needed. The complimentary water delivered to our room was a nice touch too.

Pros: Very clean, good restaurant, not near the airports flight patterns. Cons: Don't believe the 5 star rating. It is very nice but is not a 'deluxe' hotel. Not 'next door' to the airport (about 15 minutes away with traffic). No free parking - 5 Euros a night.

Staff was very good and helpful, location was a bit far from Dublin. Buses nearby were an easy way to get to downtown, though. Wireless internet is available but quite expensive.

As you would expect from a 5 star hotel, the rooms are great as is the service and the price is commensurate. The location is a bit out of town but the bus service from downtown is very good with 10 to 15 minute travel time during the day and evening up to 11 PM or so. There are several bus lines so you seldom have to wait more than a few minutes for a bus. There are few local services other than a new grocery/mall where everything is not yet open.

Pros: tesco right across the street (irish walmart), 10 minutes to the terminal, 20-30 minutes to the center of dublin. Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly staff, covered parking garage. Great deal on hotels.com. Cons: Just a little below standard for a "Hilton" hotel, 20 euro for breakfast (worth 10), 5 euro per night for parking.

we stayed at the Hilton for two weeks & we were treated so very courtiously the staff was very kind to us, even the shuttle bus driver, the front desk girls always smiled & waved when we came in, they even showed us how much in Euros to ride the bus, this was our very first trip out of the country & they made it very pleasent. we would recomend the Hilton to anyone, & If we ever get back to Ireland we would stay there again.

The hotel restaurant is quite expensive. It would have been nice to have less expensive options for places to eat breakfast.

The hotel is very modern and clean. The staff were very helpful. The food in the restaurant was partly nouvelle cuisine (very little food, presented artfully, for big cost). Access to airport was excellent, and the driver of the van was especially pleasant. No pool (which had been listed among amenities), which was a disappointment. The "business center" consisted of one PC and one printer, in the middle of the lobby. You were charged to use it. WiFi was available in room for a price per 24 hours, but was very difficult/impossible to use, as it was broadband, and you have to use a cable to hook up your laptop.

Convenient to airport, city centre, or ferry embarkation point. Convenient shopping nearby, easy access via public transportation to Dublin and all its surrounding areas.

The amenities were numerous, however, we were extremely pleased with the "cleanliness, confort, quietness and service." The "Hotel Staff" went out of their way to make our stay plesent. Outstanding room for the money. The location was "great."

Air blows on you when you are in bed.

Overall, a very nice hotel - as expected for a Hilton chain. Room very clean and fresh, bathroom very tidy. Free shuttle bus from airport to hotel - make sure you phone reception when you arrive however so you know they are sending someone (waited approx 30mins before calling, then one showed up whilst we were back in the terminal on a pay phone). Hotel has a very nice bar and eating area. Shopping centre across the road where you can catch buses to the CBD - approx 20ish minutes and you need exact change of ?1.70 for the bus driver. Ask for change at reception before venturing out. Caught a taxi back from the CBD one night which cost ?21. Guiness Storehouse is a must do - but make sure you prebook your tickets online!!!! otherwise you will que for 30-45 minutes. Enjoy!

We thought the Airport Hilton would be at or close to the airport. It was not. It was a distance from the airport and Dublin. We had to depend on public transit to tour Dublin or taxi services.

For those just flying in and out and have no other need to leave the hotel, this was a great room for the price. We stayed here the night before flying out early the following morning and wanted to take advantage of the free shuttle to and from the airport. The room was very big by European standards and extremely clean and comfortable. Only negative factors were the shuttle we took there from the airport was running very slow, supposedly due to an accident outside the airport. Curiously, the other hotel shuttles came and went twice while we waited over an hour for the shuttle. The other issue was the service in the bar area. Since you are basically forced to eat/drink here due to the remote nature of the location, we spent several hours in the bar area after eating with some friends and had to constantly go to the bar to request service at the table we were at, very annoying considering the prices of the drinks, which weren't cheap. All in all, good place to stay for the money, needs some work on the shuttle pickup and bar service

Good hotel; free computer for printing boarding passes was nice. Slow service at the bar/dining area outside the restaurant. Free shuttle bus to/from airport, although had to wait a LONG time for shuttle from the airport.

The hotel is located near a mall, gym, and a supermarket. The location isn't so bad. The bus line is across the street. It takes 15-20 minutes max into the city center. However, restaurants are really far and not the greatest vegetarian/heart healthy options.

This is a typical Hilton quality hotel. The price for it was very competitive. It is about a 15 minute shuttle ride from the airport and a 15 minute cab from the more urban areas of Dublin. If you want to be in the heart of the city, I would recommend a different hotel.

Hotel is 10 minute drive from airport. Not convenient to anything - 25 euro cab ride to Dublin City. Limited food choices.

I thought the shuttle service to and from the airport was the hightlight of the stay since we didnt have to worry about renting a car or getting public transportation. There is also a little shopping center with a Tesco nearby that is within a five minute walk near the bus stop. The staff was quite friendly and welcoming. The two downfalls are that their website says free wireless internet, yet we got charged 20euro per day. When I asked the receptionist said we could use the internet in the lobby. Also, when we got to our room the sheets were really dirty and were obviously not changed before us. Though we called and someone immediately came and changed the entire bedding letting us know the person who cleaned our room was still new and apologized for him forgetting to change the bedding. No matter where you go, check the bedding!

Hotel was very, very nice...extremely clean, extremely courteous service. Directly across from a mall, which was nice, and very close the airport, and on a bus line to get into downtown Dublin. Our only issue was the buffet: It seemed to be VERY pricey for the food you get. I would recommend walking down the block to a restraunt and getting either a cheaper buffet or a wider variety on a menu.

They made it easy from the moment we walked in the door. Wake up call, shuttle to the airport, room service. It was fantastic, will stay there next time we go to Ireland.

I wish all hotels I stay in could be as good. The staff polite and know thier jobs. Felt very welcome and would recomend any one to use them.

very good place to stay.not too far from airport schuttle bus service was very good. food was very good also.a little pricey,but good.if you are staying near the airport in dublin i would recommend this hotel if you can get it through hotels.com

A clean,quiet and modern hotel, warm rooms and comfortable bed. Not the best for getting into Dublin town centre, taxi easy to flag down but expensive, bus cheap but takes a long time to get to the centre. Would be great if hotel offered a city centre shuttle bus throughout the day!! All in all not bad!!

great room for the money

This hotel is perfect for those who want to have the option of going into the city of Dublin while staying close to the airport to be able to rent cars and go into the country. There is a bus stop literally 50 meters from the hotel entrance and it only takes 15 minutes and 1.65 Euro for the bus ride into town. It is very convenient. There are shops around the hotel and a huge grocery store across the street to grab food if you want to save some extra money. The hotel staff provided excellent service. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It saved us over $200 a day as compared to staying right in Dublin.
