Residence Aurelia Antica - Roma

Loved this hotel great for those on a budget. Staff really made our stay, they were pleasant, friendly, efficient and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel itself was great rooms spacious and kept very clean although in places a bit worn. A wee bit far out however plenty of transport easy accessible. OVerall lovely experience and well worth going back

The 98 city bus picks up right in front of this hotel, which will take you to the Vatican and the city subway. The staff is wonderful, multi-lingual and very accomodating. You can purchase your bus/subway tickets from the front desk. The room was spacious, and incredible for the price. The surrounding area isn't the best, but there are restaurants and shops nearby. Looking forward to staying here again!

The people in the front where very rude...they would direct you to the hotel next door for everything you needed like internet cards, converters for your charger, taxi's...everything was next door. The hotel is far away from all the major landmarks in rome and it is difficult to get the bus across the street from there. Loved Rome but did not like this HOTEL.

I litterally mean that. The hotel is in the middle of no where. You have to wait at the bus stop for really long for a bus to come. Taxis are available but the taxi drivers know you are at their mercy. But worst of all if you are booking for 3 or 4 people they automatically put you on the 5th floor which is actually a loft. It is so hot and stuffy and they have a peculiar policy about the AC it is turned off from 12 to 12 which really doesn't make sense as most guests would be in the hotel at that time after a tiring day. My kids started to feel sick due to the heat so we requested them to provide us with at least a fan. The front office was no help with that. If ou are going as a tourist try and get a place in actual Rome or Vatican. Then you can walk to see most spots.

Property needs serious updating inside. Common area carpeting is dirty. No hand soap in rooms, only combo shampoo/soap. Must pay 2 euro for pool towels; absurd! Staff has a bad attitude toward foreigners. You need to PROVE to them you are nice for them to be courteous to you.

veyr rude staff, room was like an oven and when we requested another room we were told we would get one when someone checked out. we would see about 10 people chck out every morning and we were still told that no one had checked out. not accomodating at all. did not know the answers to many routine questions a tourist would ask.

We had a hard time finding a quad room to share with our adult (18 & 20) year old daughters, so our choices were limited. This apartment set-up was a great arrangement. The location was a bit out of the way, although not far from a bus stop. We felt the hotel staff should have been more informed and helpful (were out of bus passes and stamps, not informative about bus routes to/from major attractions, and should have known the dates the Vatican would be closed.) Also we stayed on the 5th floor, and the elevator only goes to the 4th which is a bit inconvenient with luggage.

Not worth what I paid for. The comfort of the room was below par. Bathroom faucet had low water pressure. The bed mattresses were not comfortable. The hotel requires that you "RENT" a pool towel in order to use the swimming pool. The hotel staff did not make you feel welcomed. All in all, I would NOT stay at this hotel again.

Sicuramente lo consiglio a chiunque arrivi a Roma in macchina.é ben collegato con il resto della città e il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.Ottima la colazione,ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Hotellet var på baggrund af at der var pool og køkkenfaciliteter. Der var derfor skuffende at opdage at ingen af delene kunne benyttes da vi nåede frem.

Kwamen aan en kregen gratis upgrade van onze (2pers)kamer. Prima verblijf gehad, budgetair verantwoord en busstop voor de deur v/h hotel. Ligt wel iets uit 't centrum maar met bud prima te doen.

Køkkenremedier var ikke inkluderet i lejeprisen for en lejlighed - kunne lejes for 30 Euro/dag! Madrassen var meget blød - ikke så godt for en dårlig ryg. Swimmingpoolen var ikke åben. Lidt slidt hotel, men pænt og rent. God plads og pænt badeværelse. Roligt beliggende og kort til bustransport.

Das Hotel hat uns gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war recht groß und die Hotelmitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt etwas vom Zentrum entfernt. Eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt am Hotel, wobei die Busse nicht so zuverlässig sind. Man kann aber auch zu Fuß zur Metro-Haltestelle laufen (10-15 min). Mit der Metro, die alle paar Min. kommt, erreicht man dann alles recht einfach. Nach ca. 5 Haltestellen ist man im Zentrum (Spanische Treppe).

Gegen die Geruchsbelästigung bis ins Zimmer durch die Lüftung und Abflüsse sollte etwas unternommen werden. Die Küche im Zimmer war nicht vollständig geputzt und blieb so während des ganzen Aufenthalts
