about a 15 min walk from the centre but lovely hotel and quiet need a swim cap to use pool , everything was very clean in fact I have stayed in the hilton before an this hotel was better and immaculate.

stayed here on the 22.12.08 , lovely hotel, the rooms were very clean and all facilities were excellent, the 1 problem i had was they are builing a huge building across the road, and the builders were making quite a lot of noise "as builders do"!!!! it had us awake from 8am , we had a bit of a late night and were hoping to have a bit of a lie in, so if you are thinking along the same lines, better check before you book that you can get a room away from the building work side .

This hotel was great. Beautiful clean rooms, nice pool area (but you need a swim cap to swim in the pool and if you don't have one they charge €2.50 to puchase one) and there was a pub down the road for my boyfriend to watch the football at! Beautiful walk down the river side to get into the main part of Dublin... a wonderful break from staying in the busy parts of the city previously. Definitely recommend it.

A really comfortable hotel. fit for purpose, very much geared towards business clients so it certainly favours efficient, clean service over cosy and quiant but if you're intending to go out and about in Dublin it provides a good base. the surrounding area is still being intensely developed an the neighbouring area isn't the most attractive (and our taxi driver warned us not to stray into it for 'safety reasons'!?) but a bee line can be made into the city with a ten minute walk along the river which is very beautiful. Reasonably good value for money, which sadly can't be said for the rest of dublin. a wonderful, relaxing city full of great quality bars and restaurants but you certainly pay for the privelege and this seems to no-longer be confined to the tourist traps of temple bar.

The room it self was huge and superb. The hotel reception area I think needs a bit of a refurb to make it look like a 4 star hotel - at the moment it looks like a 3 star reception and first impressions really count! also, the sauna wasn't working and noone told us that you have to wear swim hats in the pool !

When booking the hotel, we were unsure about the area where the hotel is situated and the distance from the city centre. However although there was a lot of construction work going on around the hotel, it didn't affect our stay at all and the walk to the city centre only took between 10 & 20 minutes and is very pleasant. I would recommend that you walk into town and get a taxi back. The hotel was modern & clean, the breafast was good as was the service. We would definately stay at the hotel again when we return to Dublin.

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Free use of the pool and gym was a nice plus. 15 mins walk to the city centre. Overall good value for money (especially given how expensive Dublin is) but it is a big hotel so don't expect service to be very personal.

We expected the hotel to be right in the city centre, but was a good 20minutes walk, and in the middle of the docklands=lots of contstruction, no near restaurants. Rooms were average, but clean, no complementary toiletries as stated, and to use the swimming pool you had to purchase and wear swimming hats at 2euros 50. Not great value, probably wouldn't go back.

Had a wonderful time! The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and gym were all fab. The staff were lovely and friendly and the whole experience was a pleasure. Shame Dublin is so expensive! A pint of the good old Guiness was approx 6 euros...about £5 and a spiced rum and diet coke was about 9 euros!!!!!! EEEEKKKK!!! however, abs wonderful stay and was well worth it!

Was a bit apprehensive when we saw the construction site opposite the hotel but the double glazing kept the noise out. We never heard any noise at all and we were staying midweek so work was in full flow. Quite often hotel rooms can be too warm and stuffy but no problems here. Good opening windows onto a balcony for a breath of morning fresh air and a glimpse of the river Liffey at end of street.Hotel appears to be situated in the financial area so very quiet at night but only 15min walk along riverside or frequent buses at end of road to take you into city centre. We would certainly stay here again.

A lovely hotel, a 15 minute walk from Temple Bar and main shopping area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was modern and tidy. Although there was dust on the one bedside table for 2 days... Would recommend and would definately return.

Excellent facilities in a good location although you may have to help taxi drivers find it and Mackin Street (an extension of Cardiff Lane) is much better known.

Hotel itself was lovely and health club was an added bonus. However, make sure you get breakfast included in your stay as this was very expensive (15 euros), as was food everywhere in Dublin! The Vertigo bar served good cocktails also. It was close enough to walk to Temple Bar and the city centre in the day, but wouldn't recommend walking in heels at night ladies! Taxis can be expensive too- it's about 9 euros for a taxi to Temple Bar from the hotel. Also, sham eabout the building work going on around the hotel/that end of Dublin- we were woken every morning at 7-8am by builders- not good when you've been to Temple Bar the night before!

Has an excellent gym facility but it does close early in the evening. Despite a 15 min walk from the main highlights of Dublin cabs are frequent and only 7eu (10eu inc tip) The cost savings on the Hotel more than pays that/night - definatly worthy of using again if I am in Dublin. Although not advertised there is free cabled internet all rooms another bonus for buissness users. All round an excellent hotel.

The hotel was amazing. A ten minute walk from O'Connel street. Safe area, with a nice pub on the corner. The hotel rooms were large and comforatble with great faciltities located in the Hotel. Handy for Temple Bar too. Only issue was the building works surrounding the hotel but this didn't eally interfere with my stay. Would definitley recommend for business or leisure.

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel and used most of the facilities during my stay. The reception staff were polite but not particularly helpful in local knowledge as they appear to be foreign and the one Irish member of staff just looked inconvenienced when I was trying to establish where a theatre was located. There was no room service menu in our room and although requested it never arrived but the quality of the food was excellent. The leisure facilities are good take a swimming hat or you will need to purchase one. There could do with some supervision in the pool area as teenagers tend to get boisterous and the floats provided are used for hitting each other!! The location is a good 10 to 15 minute walk into Dublin and it is not the nicest of walks passing groups of youths and some savoury characters late at night was a little unsettling but I'm sure we were safe, just not a familiar sight. I would stay again in this hotel but would consider one closer to Temple Bar / O'connell street which is closer to where everything is happening.

This hotel was comfortable other than the rooms were very hot, considering the weather wasn't. This meant we had to keep our windows open bringing us closer to the sounds of the workforce on the new building opposite. The rooms were immaculate and the leisure facilities good. We were able to walk into the middle of Dublin every day, or to the train station. The walk into the city took about 20mins. We were aware of the development taking place in the surrounding docklands so were not too put out by the building work. It will be fabulous when finished.

Hotel Good, Staff friendly and efficient, quite knowledgeable of local area and places to go for a Quiet Beer when you first arrive, the only issue as such that we had was the lack of a Shower Curtain in the bathroom, but this was dealt with very quickly. Overall I would recommend this hotel

the reception staff were rude and unhelpful, didn't speak brilliant english and were all trainees,. had to wait about an hour for our rooms as they weren't ready and didn't get any apology or explanation. no eye contact from staff either.

The hotel was clean and tidy. Construction was going on outside but no noise could be heard from the rooms. It is on ly a short 10 minute walk to city centre along the river which would not be a problem when it's dark.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend away and found it to be an excellent choice. Although other reviews said the hotel was a bit far from the centre we didn't find this a problem. You literally just follow the river for 15mins stroll and your there. It is located next to many new developments which I guess will bring in new bars and restaurants closer to this hotel in the near future (we never found the building work a problem). We found the room reasonably priced for the size and quality. Hotel bar sold ok bar food and not a bad pint too. Overall a good choice and a hotel I would return to.

Lovely modern hotel, clean and tidy with friendly staff. About a 15 min walk into town - if you prefer not to walk a taxi isn't too much 7 euros. Dublin is such a nice place wish we could have stayed longer - so much to do and see

For a good four star hotel this was very reasonably priced and I would certainly recommend it. Its a little bit out of the very centre of the city but that can be nice as well, Grafton St. is about 20 mins walk. The whole of the Docklands area is currently undergoing massive redevelopment so expect the surrounding area to be a building site for the next year or so.

This hotel was really great value for money. The spa was lovely and a great bonus. This was probably the best thing about Dublin as I wasn't overly impressed with the city itself.

Really enjoyed out stay, made lots of use of the pool, steam room, jacuzzi etc, food nice great place to stay just a bit out of the centre but no problems at all.

This is a new hotel and very well fitted out. We ahd a lovely room and were allowed in at 10.30 in the morning. I was with my three adult children and we had a room with connecting doorway which was very useful. The gym and swimming pool were excellent. It is in the middle of a lot of building work and will be great in 5 years time when it is all completed. It is quite far out from the centre and although we walked there and back during the day had to take a taxi at night as the area is quite deserted and didn't feel safe. The restaurant was poor - rolls were cold in the middle and mussels were from a packet - but cost was good for Dublin, even taking account taxi fares. Would probably go back again but not in the winter, only in the summer!!

Our room and the hotel in general was clean, the staff were friendly and the gym, pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were top notch and didn't cost us anything (except ?2 for a swimming cap.) Breakfast costs ?15 extra so we went round the corner to 'Munchies' instead- half the price but still good quality food. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from O'Connell St, which is lovely during the day because the walk takes you alongside the Liffey. I would advise you to get a taxi back at night though because the area is not very well lit up.

This hotel is long walking distance to center of town and the whole area around it is under construction. Monday to Friday you can expect to wake to what sounds like a jackhammer in your room (probably across street. There is one pub on the corner and one restaurant with short hours nearby, but everything else is a 15 minute walk. We were not happy.

The hotel was very comfortable. The room was spacious, neat, nicely decorated with a warm atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The food was very nice and the cocktails were lush- I recommend Romeo and Juilet! It's in a very good location, walking distance to the main street.

the quality hotel in dublin was lovely. very modern and clean and the staff were very helpful. about a 20minute walk to the town center and only a few minutes in a taxi. the only problem we had was with room service, we ordered a 12euro pizza and was told it was 12", however when it arrived it was clearly straight from a frozen package and was soggy and half the size from what we were told. however we told reception and they gladly took it off our final bill. sauna and pool area was very clean and although we did not go to the gym it did look very well equiped. there was maid service everyday, even the sunday. overall i had a thoroughly good time staying in the hotel and would highly recommend it.

Nice rooms. Someone needs to mop the lobby. Nice healthclub in basement. Most employees are Eastern European and not fluent in ENGLISH.

This place was very nice. It was clean and modern. But, it is a good walk to most city sights. Plan on walking at least 15 minutes to the center of the city. It's around a 30 minute walk to the Guinness Storehouse. The tourism information lady at the airport cautioned us about walking back to our hotel at night because some of the streets are a little dangerous. We were a group of three young guys so we didn't have too much trouble. But, I would not feel comfortable if my sister was going to walk back with her girlfriends.

Fire par på fritidsreise var alle svært fornøyd med Maldron Hotel i Dublin. Fine og rene rom, god service og god frokostbuffet til 10 euro. NB: Unngå de lavtliggende rommene mot gaten! Der plaprer taxisjåfører fra grytidlig morgen og ventende turistbusser står med motoren i gang. Borstett fra dette - et ypperlig bosted for langweekend i Dublin.

Når vi bestiller og betaler over 2 måneder før avreise skulle det ikke være mulig å overbooke! Det må samtidig sies at servicen var upåklagelig.

Har övernattat på många hotell i Europa men detta är det mest prisvärda hittills , äntligen ett hotell där man kan bo privat utan att bli ruinerad. Rent och fint , stort rum , bra frukost (tyvärr inte lika bra som resten av hotellet) , kassaskåp på rummet, trevlig personal , för det priset vi fick en klar 5a i betyg

Hotellet var typisk amerikansk tilrettelagt. Høy klasse , men for tiden litt plager med stor byggeaktivitet over gaten. Avstand til "sentrum " var passe og dette er et hotell man kan tvives å bo på

Flott hotell, med store luftige rom. Fint basseng og treningsfasiliteter. Noe støy fra byggeplass rett over gata. Dårlig frokost. Oppgitt avstand til sentrum stemmer ikke helt.

Goed hotel, (nu nog?) redelijk goedkoop voor een 4(?) sterren hotel. (Dit is dan verder ook wel te merken aan de bezoekers). Prima service/personeel. Situering bij de Docklands prima. (De Docklands zelf ook de moeite waard. Zit 'om de hoek'. Zijn daar ook enkele supermarkten.) Afstand tot 'centrum' zeer beloopbaar. Ongeveer 10/15 min lopen naar Trinity college. In de omgeving wordt nog volop gebouwd. Dit zal de reden zijn voor de meer dan billige prijs.

Fin beliggenhet,deilig med treningsmuligheter og basseng.Servicen i resepsjonen kunne vært bedre. Frokosten kunne vært bedre,hva med litt frukt og grønt? Vi ,som vegetarianere, valgte å spise frokost utenfor hotellet.Ellers ett topp hotell som vi gjerne reiser tilbake til og vil anbefale til andre.

I had a good stay at this hotel. Big and clean room. The only bad expience was the breakfast. One day I gave up after waiting 10 min. in line to get a seat. The other day I was not able to get a cop of cofee even though I asked for it twice.

Jeg var imponeret over den gode service der blev udvist, oplevede problemer med internetforbindelsen og de gjorde ihærdige forsøge på at løse det og meldte hele tiden tilbage. Personalet i Vertigo-baren var bare i en klasse for sig selv.

Vi har bodd ved flere Maldron hoteller de siste årene, og vi visste hva vi hadde i vente. Bassenget, badstuen restauranten, servicen, rommet og alt annet var av høy kvalitet. Når prisen i tillegg er så lav, er det ingenting å tenke på.. Anbefales!

Flott nymoderne hotell, rimelig sentralt.

Frokost, så som så, men typisk engelsk. Burde vært air condition på hotellet, det var varmt til tider på rommet.

Bra service. Stora rum. Skön relaxavdelning. Bra gym. Kanon frukost. En bit att gå in till city, fast det än bra gångväg längs floden. Lätt att hitta.

Ble møtt med tjenestevillige og hyggelige folk i resepsjonen. Rommet var helt upåklagelig; reint og luktfritt. God restaurant med god frokost og ellers god mat. Passe avstand til sentrum, men det tok allikevel lang tid å gå p.g.a. alle fotgjengerovergangene hvor bilistene absolutt blir prioritert.

Ingen mulighet å senke temperatur på rommet. Svært varmt om natten (rom mot Vest). Stadig mangler på rommet (såpe, lyspærer etc). Småting, men irriterende (vi hadde 2 rom; begge hadde mangler). Måtte be om dusjhette, noe de ikke hadde! Heller ingen vinglass etc på rommet, men automat i gang for kjøping av vin.

Mangler airconditioning, minibar og frokostbuffe var under pari i forhold til pris. Svært mangelfull ventilasjon, måtte ha vindu oppe for å få luft. Problemet var mye støy fra gaten og/eller byggevirksomhet tvers over gaten. Det som ikke var forhåndsbetalt ble fakturert i NOK, selv om du ble presentert regning i Euro. M.a.o. du får en dårligere kurs på Euroen. Sleipt og dumt. Jeg kommer ikke tilbake.

Prima hotel, fitness ruimte + sauna/zwembad zijn ook prima in orde. Het centrum is ongeveer 15 minuten lopen, dat is misschien een nadeel.

Litt usentralt, men kompenserer med bra trimrom, svømmebasseng og øvrige fasiliteter til en god pris.

Flott nyt hotell, meget god standard. Flotte treningsmuligheter med div. helsestudio apparater, svømmebasseng og badstuer.

Het Maldronhotel is in pricipe ingericht op de zakelijke reiziger. Toch biedt het hotel veel luxe in een nieuwe opkomende wijk nabij het centrum. Het centrum ligt op 10 a 15 min lopen van het Hotel. Het diner in het hotel is overigens zeer goed. Het pluspunt van dit hotel is zeker het gezondheidsgedeelte ofwel de fitnessruimte, het zwembad, turksbad en de sauna. Deze zijn allemaal gratis (zit bij de overnachtinghskosten in) te gebruiken en zijn zeer compleet ten opzichte van vergelijkbare hotels.

Værelset var rigtig godt: Rummeligt, gode senge, dejligt badeværelse. Venlig betjening. Vi har lidt kommentarer til morgenmaden og betjeningen her. Organisationen syntes vi var uhensigtsmæssig. Vi ankom til indgangen, hvor der var lidt småkøer til tider. Vi skulle registreres. Skrive under på, at vi kom fra et bestemt værelse efter at det var registreret i computeren. Medarbejderen skulle også samtidig føre telefonsamtale. Derefter blev vi ført til et ledigt bord af medarbejderen og vi kunne gå i gang med at hente morgenmaden. Kaffen måtte vi dog flere gange bede om, for at få den. En af måltidernes oprydning ved nabobordet undrede os meget. Medarbejderen tog en klud, tørrede bordet af, men tørrede simpelthen krummerne og bl.a. en tom papir saltholder direkte på gulvet ved foden af vort bord!!!!!! Ret besynderligt. Vi mener, morgenmadsserveringen kunne organisres meget mere hensigtsmæssig. Hvorfor bruger man f.eks. ikke rullevogne til at læsse nyt og gammelt service på i stedet for at bære små mængder afsted i mange omgange - og bakker kunne da også anvendes med stor fordel!!!!

Noisy heating system and TV set that went on by itself in the middle of the night : a bummer - however, friendly staff gave us another room on a lower floor. Breakfast not great for ten euros. Great pool and sauna. Twenty minutes on foot from citycentre - take the road along the Liffey.

Hotel bien situé, calme, prés du centre (15 à 20 mm de marche) avec piscine, sauna, hamman pour se détendre aprés la journée.

Flott hotell med fri tilgang til stort svømmebasseng, spa og treningssenter. Men de "bløffer" litt med avstanden til sentrum. De oppgir 800 meter, men det er mye lenger. 20 - 25 minutters rask gange, eller en taxitur til ca 8 EURO inn til butikker og restauranter.

A top hotel with nice, big and clean rooms and serviceminded staff. Had everything I needed in my lovely room and breakfast was good. Great location for me being on a business trip. However, I felt the hotel lacked the cosy feel - but that would not prevent me from staying there again.

Hotel curato, pulito e davvero carino, è possibile raggiungere Temple Bar e O'Connell Street con una passeggiata di 10 minuti, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è strepitoso!!! Gentilissimi gli addetti della reception (fra cui una ragazza italiana simpaticissima). Davvero consigliato!

Diese Hotel ist OK. Das Frühstücksbuffet kann man auslassen, der Wellness-Bereich ist OK für eine halbe Stunde Erholung. Zimmer war auch OK. Alles nichts besonderes, aber ordentlich. Nur die Lage war etwas störend, es sind ca. 15 bis 20 Minuten in die Innenstadt, doch etwas zu weit entfernt. Wenn man in der Nähe was zu tun hat (oder sehr gut zu Fuß ist), kann ich es aber empfehlen.

Et flott hotell litt i utkanten av bykjernen.Vi opplevde at servicen hos enkelte ansatte kunne være noe overfaladisk ellers er dette et supert hotell til en riktig pris.

Buona posizione a 10 minuti di cammino dal centro di Dublino. Strutture moderne con un tocco vintage capace di dare calore. Personale ben preparato e cortese, camere pulite, spaziose e confortevoli, dotate di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno gradevole. La ciliegina sulla torta è rappresentata dalla palestra più piscina, davvero ben attrezzata e efficace. I prezzi, in rapporto al servizio e alla qualità dell'hotel, sono abbastanza contenuti. Una bella esperienza davvero!

Alt bra, bare litt "maskinstyrt" betjening i resepsjonen, var ikke så lett å få konkrete tips på barer som viste fotball, de ville heller bare selge inn hotellbaren (som forsåvidt var en bra bar).

Beliggenheden er dårlig- ingen restauranter/cafeer i nærheden. Morgenmaden er ringe til 10 euro og det er med rabat!

Vid incheckning ombads vi lämna våra Visa-kort. För registrering trodde vi. Inget kvitto ingen info om att dom för min del tog 150 euro o för dom andra 100 euro?? i deponering. Vad skulle man gjort om man planerat använda dom pengarna under vistelsen? Jag fick inte ut min bil från långtidsparkeringen hemma. Hade man bara vetat hade man sett till att ha tillräckligt på kontot.

Veldig fint og rent hotell rett i utkanten av sentrumsgryta. Det tok ca 10 min å gå til sentrum, en fin sparertur langs elven. Hotellet er supert for deg som vil bo fint, men ikke betale en formue.

Acceuil froid, lent et uniquement en anglais. L'hôtel est plutôt bien par ailleurs.

Nytt og flott hotell med god service og gode fasiliteter. Bortsett fra litt mugglukt på badet, var dette hotellet veldig bra. Vi var nok litt uheldig med tildelingen av rom. Avstanden til sentrum er ca. 20 minutters gange, men dette var kun en fin tur på morningen. For de som ønsker å bo veldig sentralt kan det være lurt å velge et annet hotell. Vi ville ikke ha noe i mot å bo på dette hotellet ved en senere anledning.

gutes Businesshotel, in noch zentraler Lage ( mit dem Bus ca. 2 min - Busstop ca. 200m entfernt) Zimmer sind großzügig. Für Schwimmbad wird Badekappe benötigt.

Dejlig beliggenhed lige ved floden og i passende afstand fra centrum. Eneste minus var morgenmaden der manglede fuldstændig organisering og lever ikke op til den service der er på hotellet.

j'y suis allée au mois de mars 2009. la chambre était super, propre et confortable. je regrette le petit dejeuner qui n'était pas compris dans le prix. n'oubliez pas les bonnets de bain pour la piscine!!! ils sont vendus 2.5€ l'un à l'hotel, en esperant que l'eau de la piscine soit suffisamment chaude !!!! sinon, hotel bien situé, à environ 15mn à pied de temple bar.compter 25 euros de taxi depuis l'aéroport.

Et fint hotell, med grei beliggenhet. Gangavstand til sentrum, ca 10 min. Et minus for kaotisk og relativt dårlig frokost - spis frokost inne i byen.

Ausstattung und Größe der Zimmer war absolut Top. Ärgerlich, dass man für den pool eine Badekappe braucht und ins gym nur nur entsprechenden Sportschuhen rein darf.

Ett mycket bra, fräscht hotell med trevlig personal. Poolen och jacuzzin var perfekt. Ca 1,5km in till centrum, men väldigt fin väg att gå, längs floden. Enda nackdelen var lite för hårda sängar.

Erg comfortabel, wel meer zakelijk dan knus ingericht hotel. Ruime, complete, zeer schone, maar standaard ingerichte kamers. Grore plus: groot binnenzwembad. Er is ook Sauna ,Turks bad,whirhlpool, maar die zijn klein en in zwemgedeelte, dus iedereen houdt badkleding aan en behalve koude douche geen verdere wellnessvoorziening. Ontbijt is veel te duur voor wat je krijgt als je los moet bijboeken.

Super hotel tout neuf avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. J'y retournerai pour le prochain business trip.
