"A definite recommendation for family and friends"

We had 3 rooms booked for our travel party, we all came from different corners of the globe and we all extremely happy with our stay. A nice relaxed but quality service with accommodating staff, a great position, extraordinary views, good breakfast and food. We all left very satisfied with the hotel after a great catch up and a wonderful time.

We loved Stresa partly helped by the excellent week of weather early September. On our arrival we were offered an upgrade at a reasonable rate to a junior suite, which we believe was well worth it. A lovely good sized room and well-equipped bathroom, with spa-bath and separate shower and bidet. Lovely balcony with table chairs and recliners. We did not take half-board and Stresa has a wealth of small -good- restaurants to satisfy every cullinery need. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent, if a little busy when the conference crowd arrived. Avoid 9.00 a.m. Only criticisms: Not much of a lounge area, with no entertainments, swimming-pool across the road on the front of the lake; not really a problem. Can highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is right in the middle of Stresa in walking distance to everything in the town. The views of the lake from the rooms were incredible. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and well maintained. Overall the best place to stay in the area!

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. All the staff worked hard to deal with any requests. The room (no view, sadly) was well appointed and very comfortable, and the breakfast was ample. We would love to return.

"Beautiful Hotel"

The Hotel Palma was a wonderful way to end our trip in Italy. It is a beautiful hotel close to restaurants, shops,and all attractions. It is accross the street from the lake and the swimming pool is on the lake side. The breakfast was fabulous served in their lovely dining room. The staff was both friendly and helpful. All rooms have balconys. It was great!

"Great value small hotel"

We loved this little hotel. The location is great, looking over the very pretty square in the centre of Stresa. The rooms are large and comfortable, with facilities you would expect in a more expensive hotel. We did not find the room noisy at all. The owner is a lovely lady and looked after us very well.

Sehr gut geführt, sehr freundlicher Service, alles top gepflegt. Wir waren schon in vielen 5-Sterne-Hotels die mich nicht so überzeugen konnten. Im La Palma bleiben keine Wünsche offen.

Vores ferie med børn og børnebørn fik et absolut touch af luksus da vi chekede ind på Hotel La Palma. Modtagelsen i receptionen var meget gæstfri og gav løfter om et godt ophold. Alt var godt og værelserne smukt indrettet. Vi kunne vel næppe ha' fået en bedre udsigt mod de små øer i Lago Maggiore end fra vores værelser. Personalet var fantastisk imødekommende og meget serviceminded. Når man rejser med børn (børnebørn) er det ekstremt vigtigt at man føler sig godt modtaget og at også børnene er velkomne og det kan vi skrive under på at sådan er det på Hotel La Palma. Hotellets pool, som ligger direkte ud i Lago Maggiore, er helt fantastisk og ganske børnevenlig. Den lille have/park som fuldender poolområdet er skøn at slikke solskin i og dejlig for børn at bruge energi i. Dagene sluttede altid i hotellets smukke og meget hyggelige have. Vi sad i skønne bløde lænestole og fik serveret vores aftenkaffe alt i mens vi nød udsigten og stemningen.

Ett tilltalande hotell med utmärkt läge. Nära bad och trevliga restauranger. Ett trevligt bemötande och god service ger hotellet ett extra plus. Poolen gjorde vistelsen ultimat!!!
