Can't fault the location, the hotel backs onto the impressive beach and promenade, its only a few kilometers (8-10 Euros by taxi) to the old city. The staff are helpful, the decor is quite impressive and the rooms are modern and very comfortable. I was impressed with Valencia as a city, a lot of my friends were sceptical of going there but all said that they would go back by the end of the trip. The beach is a good 5-7km long with ample of space, its not very touristy, the locals flock there in the evenings and especially on weekends. They had market stalls along the promenade on Sunday evening, it was buzzing with atmosphere. There are two incredible night clubs within a few minutes of the hotel and you won't be short of restaurant or bars along the beach front. The old city was very pretty with some intertesting buildings. The aquarium and art musem buildings are breath taking. I recommend you polish up on your Spanish, the locals aren't too keen on speaking English. The resort a few doors down, Las Arenas was very impressive too and I would suggest you also seriously consider that as an alternative if you can get a similar price to the Neptuno hotel.

We had a lovely stay, finding our room comfortable and clean and full of the nice little extras you'd hope for - robes, slippers, great smellies, well stocked minibar etc. The hotel breakfast was also very good if not a bit expensive.

We stayed at Neptuno for 6 nights in May/June 2008. Very impressed with our room, had lovely sea views and comfy beds. The roof terrace was a great place to lounge in the sun. Breakfast was first class and the staff very helpful and friendly. Our only criticism would be the bad service we received in the hotel bar, we only tried it once and would not recommend drinking there. Instead go to one of the many excellent seafront bars.

We wanted a long weekend break to recharge our batteries, and the location of the Neptuno (right on the beach) helped to do just that. The rooms were clean & modern. Staff on reception and security staff were really helpful & professional. Bar staff were amazingly laid back and slow, but courteous, and we got there in the end! If you like modern architecture the Centre for Arts & Sciences is defintiely worth a visit. The town centre was lovely, and really vibrant of an evening, with lots of bars and restaurants, but strangely not many shops.

The Neptuno is on a lovely unspoilt beach right next to the yachting port. The beach is cleaned, there is no traffic as in some of the Costas. The downside is that except for two hotels there is little other than some restaraunts by the beach. No shops, for instance, so it can be a bit difficult to get a cheap bottle of water. The Hotel was lovely, very modern with large rooms, gowns, slippers, good range of toiletries etc. Excellent breakfast. We made the mistake of not eating there - do not eat at the next door hotel it is poor. Valencia is a Barcelona in the making - beautiful buildings/shops - but a bit short on tourist infrastructure. Not nomally a problem but I went with my nearly disabled mum who found it a bit difficult to get around. Not so in the hotel or on the front as it is all flat and has an excellent promenade. Valencia and the beach seemed extremely safe - we were not hassled at all! We had a lovely time.

Great spot only a 15 min tram ride from the old town but with the advantage of the beach for us sun worshipers. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within a stones throw. Staff were friendly and efficient & hotel has a lovely bar for expensive cocktails in the afternoon. Only one real complaint but it's a big one. We had a double room and there is a door joining it to the next room. If you are at all squeemish about listening to other peoples bodily functions for an hour each morning & again before bed I would suggest giving this hotel a miss. Fortunatly we have a sense of humour and are still amazed at the amount of different noises the man in the room next door could get his body to produce. Finaly point if you are still chosing your spanish location for a holiday. I would suggest Seville or Barcelona over Vallencia as they are much nicer city's with more on offer.

Een prima hotel met uitstekende ligging (strand en metro naast de deur). Het uitstekende ontbijtbuffet verdient een aparte vermelding

Got upgraded and therefore extra happy:) Nevertheless a great place and excellent location if city-club-hoppin isn't first priority.

Hightech og plasma-TV, men kjedelig innredning og mye dårlig kvalitet. Ligger ved beachen, men bymessig preg på omgivelsene. Dyrt med utsikt og dyr, men bra restaurant.
