Christchurch Hall Apartments - Dublín

Good hotel totally electronic never meet anybody just use passwords to access facilities i.e front door, obtain keys. only disapointed to find family asleep downstairs when got up in morning maybe had trouble accessing facilities . Need to check email or get sms message to get passwords.

Bedrooms fine. Bathroom musty and door kept slanning shut. Washer & dryer hard to use, but glad they were there. Kitchen and living room fine. They need to redo the bathrooms like they have done for the kitchens.

Very nice room with kitchen. If we would have known about this (or noticed), we might have planned to use it better than we did. The unusual part of this experience is that there was never anyone at the desk. We got an e-mail with a code to get into the door - and a code to get into the lockbox that contained the key to our room. It's a different concept than any hotel that I've stayed at, but it worked great for us. Very good location - we walked everywhere except to the train station - Guinness factory, Temple Bar, free walking tour. Sweet

These appartments are great value for money and are comfortable and give you allot of freedom compared to a hotel

If you are seeking a two bedroom apartment, with full kitchen, dining and living room areas, at a very reasonable rate for 4 people, this is your place. Near Christchurch, we were able to walk to most of the places we chose to visit in Dublin.

This hotel met all of our hotel needs and more. We expected box size rooms in a bad neighborhood and were pleasantly surprised with the rooms, living room, kitchen and location. It was a little hard to find and there was never anyone at the front desk which would have been bad had we not checked in at their sister hotel down the street. Would have also been nice to talk to someone about local digs. Overall great experience!! Walking distance to everything, even the bus station if you don't mind a very nice 20 minute walk along the river!

Checking in was aweful! They no longer have 24 hour reception. They have a phone number to call on the locked front door to the apt building. Good thing we had a cell phone with us. They gave us a code to unlock the front door. Then they gave us a code to the key lock box, which holds the keys to all the apartments. After figureing that all out we made it our room. Which smelled of mold. We quickly found out the toilet did not flush properly. We called the phone number again to find out about parking for our car. They told us about the parking garage at the St. Augustine Aprtments, which they own too. After parking the car there we talked to them about the toilet situation. After a short talk they gave us a new apartment. Which was an upgraded apartment with two bedrooms and a nicer view. After all the check in issuses our stay was great. Walking distance to everything. But it was frustrating after a day of traveling to not have anyone at reception to help you check in.

This hotel looked great in theory. Decent price for a one bedroom condo with kitchen! However: The building is in some hot water saving mode, you get two hours only a day of hot water.. unless you hit the boost button which gives you more, after another hour. There were no amenities of a hotel, no shampoo, one tiny bar of soap for 4 people.. they will charge you for it if you want it at the front desk. Rip off. Also, there is a big sign on the building that says Free WiFi! But go inside, they want you to pay for WiFi. Unit 6's clock wasn't working, the light in the bathroom didn't work, the toilet seat broke off, the shower required a "boost" device that was loud in order to pump water to the shower head, there was NO place for luggage aside from the small closet.. I like to keep my bag out on a stand or something when only staying for a day or two. The kitchen supplies were nothing.. no soap, and only 2 of each item, 2 plates, 2 glasses..etc even though the place sleeps 4. For the same money, I will stay at the Jury's Inn down the road and avoid the hassles of stocking up a condo for only 3 days use and no amenities.

This was great. My Wife and I age 71 & 72 were delighted with this apartment. Location wise this is within 5 to 10 minutes walk to many attractions. The major bus services have stops within one half block of the front door. The apt. was very clean and everything worked. The bathroom had some tile along the bottom that had been replaced. They had used dark (almost black) grout whereas the original grout was white. The grout was clean but from a distance one could get the impression that it was mold. This is the grout color and definitely is not mold. there were at least 3 small grocery stores nearby, but there was a much larger and much cheaper store about 5 blocks away. The help at the front desk was excellent and they constantly helped us with general information.

The last morning we ran out of toilet paper and they made us go buy more, as it is an apartment this was understandable, but 2 hours before checkout? We had to buy a 4 pack...what a waste of money! Had a few problems flushing toilet, but just had to be pacient. If multiple people were using it it need time to refill.

We were pleased with the size of the apartment for 4 people. The location was good for shopping and restaurants but a little far for walking downtown. We had no problems with the water heater during our first 6 nights. We left and checked back in for an additional night and had no hot water. Recommend that you make sure your water is working before your morning shower. Reception was friendly and we appreciated the reasonable rates for internet service. Would stay here again.

Stayed here 4/9-11/09. We were a little concerned because of some bad reviews. However, we found the apartments very nice and well located as we walked everywhere. The staff was very helpful. They had an off site parking lot for only 10Euro/day as well. Would definitely say here again. It was basically a tourist class stay.

Christchurh Hall Apts. in Dublin offers a great location, just on the fringe of many major attractions, close to some nice restaurants, shops, and away from most of the noisy pubs, and we got a fairly good room rate. However, I was appalled by the condition of the tub/shower and apartment maintenance in general is a definite problem!! The shower sprayer holder in the tub did not work, so you couldn't take a shower and there was red and brown mold growing all over the tub, tub surround and wall - it was disgusting!! Only one towel rack worked, the bathroom had no exhaust fan and smelled funky all the time - there was little to no water pressure to speak of, you had to "boost" the water 1/2 hour before bathing to have hot water and then it was scalding hot and in short supply if mulitple people wanted to take a bath over a period of time. the toothbrush holder was broken, little to no counter space and if you want clean towels, you have to buy laundry detergent and clean them yourself or pay for more towels, they don't provide enough toilet paper and there is no klennex or other amentities provided. they charge you if you leave even one glass out, and there is no maid service at all - apartments are not cleaned, no fresh towels or linens. the bedroom curtain rod was broken, the fireplace was only decorative,and the sofa bed we needed to us was also broken. they sent someone up to look at it after we complained and they assured us he would fix it the next day, but they didn't, we never saw the guy again. the lobby is very small, only a couple of chairs and the computer there was broken - you buzz to get in the front door to the building, but they open the door to everyone anyone and the buzzer system up to the rooms apparently doesn't work because the phone in our room didn't work. there were people there working on it several days but it still wasn't working when we left. they charge you if you want to check in early, we were told there was no room available and we co

We stayed in one of the apartments for several days while visiting Ireland. Location is fantastic for walking around Dublin taking in all the sights. There is also a great grocery store just down the street (which we found on our second to last day- skip the Spar convenience store which is a little closer but much more expensive and has little selection). The condition was decent. Apartment was clean for the most part but could've used to be swept again. Beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. Our fireplace didn't work (a bit letdown) and the receptionist had no idea how to work it (an even bigger letdown). Don't plan on doing a ton of laundry. Although the washer/dryer (a 2-in-1) was tiny and took forever to fully dry clothes. But it was nice to have.

Housed and slept a family of 5 including 2 teenagers comfortably. Within walking distance of Christchurch Cathedral, the Dublinia, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Trinity College, Guiness Storehouse, the River Liffey, several pubs, restaurants, and convenience stores.

Found these apartments satisfied our needs perfectly. Great location for walking to the Temple Bar area and if you dont mind walking too much, Graffton St is only about 30mins walk away. Apartment quite small and compact but with 3 girls sharing we didn't find it too much of an issue. Would recommend to friends as the self-catering aspect made it easier to spend less money in an expensive city centre.

What a fantastic place to stay - so close to everywhere and if you can't be bothered walking the bus stops are right outside and a lot cheaper than taxis. We had a two bedroom apartment and it was perfect for us girls who like a homely feel. It was very clean and well decorated. A perfect base to come home to and watch, 'Ireland's got talent' - which is not advisable! Not a very good show. Anyway - I'd go back there again and again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

For a small group of people, this place is ideal. Good value and really feels like a home from home. Has everything you need, and in a great location, walkable to all the good places - Temple Bar and Guiness Storehouse easily walkable. Well laid out, the only weak part of our apartment was the bathroom - but it was still clean and tidy. Not the easiest entrance door to find, with Christchurch behind you, head right down High St and its on the other side of the road.

Much more space than in the typical Dublin hotel in this price range. Very convenient to have kitchen with refrigerator and microwave for leftovers, as eating out in the city is very expensive. Plenty of hot water in my room.

The hotel is an excellent location and eveything is a 5-10 minutes walk away. The room was clean and modern. The only big downside was that checkin was not until 2.30!! which if u take an early light in can be a bit tiring to wait for. The staff werent so friendly and a big unorganised so make sure u have all your booking details and who u booked with close to hand.

Having the luxury and space of essentially three bedrooms (the living room had its own door and pull out couch) was perfect for my family. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer! Everything was beautifully appointed and well maintained. Though I would ask for instructions on the water heater before attempting multiple showers. The central location a block from Christchurch was fabulous. I would recommend this place to everyone going to Dublin!

We had a brilliant time in Dublin and the apartment was fantastic. It was clean and comfortable and had stylish decor. It was close enough to the city centre although we would definately wear more sensible shoes next time!

THIS APARTMENT WAS GREAT FOR OUR STAY,ROOMS CLEAN AND COMFY AND WAS IN A GOOD LOCATION CLOSE TO MAIN PUB AREA,THE RECEPTION WERE FREINDLY AND HELPFUL,WITH DUBLIN BEING A BIT PRICEY THE KITCHEN WAS GREAT FOR COOKING OUR OWN MEALS AND A FRIDGE FOR THE BEERS!WOULD LIKE TO STAY THERE AGAIN WHEN I VISIT AGAIN.

We had a wonderful experience. It was a little complicated working out public transportation to and from City Centre or the airport, and the staff was very helpful in this regard. However, the location was wonderful, the rooms were excellent, and the staff gave great recommendations for places to see and eat. We would stay at this property again.

WHile the room looked really nice, the bed was very firm which wasn't the most comfortable. The rest of the flat was obviously recently refurbished which was great- Except for the bathroom which had most definitely seen better days. It was a short walk to St. Stephen's Green which is a great part of town for shopping, eating and drinking!!

The apartments were either brand-new or the cleaning service was absolutely excellent. The flat looked like a normal flat and was furnished with very comfortable, clean, and modern decor. Great location - a 5 minute walk to Temple Bar area and city centre. Staff were very nice and helpful about various questions, including knowing which bus to catch in order to get to the Airlink Buses to Dublin Airport.

Great location for walking to most places in Dublin. Nice break to be able to have a kitchen and make meals. Really small bedrooms, hard to walk between wall heater and the end of the bed if you were on that side of the bed. Nice pub right across the street for casual dining.

The apartments were great however Dublin its self was very very expensive. the tour of Dublin was good.

Stayed here with several ppl including kids. Sofa lays down flat, 2 beds. Washer was supposed to dry but didn't have heat drying option...so could only wash. Did have very clean updated kitchen with stove, toaster, fridge and all cooking utensils/glasses/plates. Right across street from St. Audeons, and Christ church hall. Two city tour buses stop out front! Very satisfied. Didn't like the hotwater heat in bath. Has fireplace. Staff did not know how to answer questions on washer/dryer

We ordered a two bedrooms apartment, and was pleased about the size of the rooms. It was a bit cold, but we talked to the receptionist, and it was fixed the next day. All in all, we are quite pleased about this place.

This hotel has everything you need. Washer/Dryer, dishes, refrigerator/freezer. It is not the most updated hotel, but you have a lot of space and it is in a good location.

The bathroom stank of mold and mildew. If you wanted towels, you had to ask for them.

Well, the room was nice and clean, and very close to the Temple Bar area, but there was no hot water (so no shower!) and no staff to report it to. Next time I go to Dublin I will find another place to stay.

Nøklene ligger i bokser nederst ved inngangen og man må slå en kode får å åpne riktig nøkkelskap. Det er ingen bemannet resepsjon, men man kan få hjelp ved å ringe et nummer eller henvende seg på et hotell som er noen hundre meter unna. Jeg gikk ned til det andre hotellet for å få koden til nøkkelskapet, som jeg ikke fant i mine notater. Jeg fikk koden, men de var litt sure og mente jeg hadde fått denne koden tilsendt på mail. Jeg sjekket mailen min igjen etter jeg kom hjem, men kan ikke se at jeg har fått tilsendt noen slik kode. Mao: Litt kranglete. MEN: Da vi fant ut av alt dette kom vi opp til en UTMERKET leilighet med flislagt bad, to soverom og stue med spisebord, ekstra sovesofa, samt kjøkkenkrok med komfyr, kjøleskap og vaskemaskin. Alt nyoppusset og velholdt med kunst på veggene og flatskjerm-tv. Samlet sett er vi veldig fornøyd. Billig og bra. Ihvertfall passet det utmerket til vår familie på 5.

Vi var lovet rengjøring en gang i løpet av oppholdet, men det skjedde aldri. Det ble ikke rengjort, ikke byttet håndklær, ikke fjernet søppel, ikke påfylling av toalettpapir - rett og slett ingen service! Kommer aldri til å benytte denne overnattingsmuligheten igjen.

Noe slitt leilighet, spesielt badet, men absolutt koselig likevel. Litt mangelfullt kjøkkenutstyr. Vi hadde 2 soverom, kjøkken, bad og spisestue og stue. God nok plass til oss som var en familie på 5. Veldig grei beliggenhet med busstopp rett utenfor og kort vei til sentrumskjernen til fots.

Dejlig lejlighed i centrum af Dublin, der klart kan anbefaldes, alt er indenfor gå afstand, og store dejlige værelser

6 jenter på tur til Dublin hvor vi skulle shoppe og nyte Dublin fantastiske uteliv. Utrolig praktisk da med egne leiligheter hvor man kunne komme å gå som man ville til alle døgnets tider, lage sin egen mat og tom få besøk i leilighetene av personer som ikke bodde på hotellet. Leilighetene generelt hadde god standard, veldig bra kjøkken, men badene var nok heller så som så. Men ikke så forferdelige at det trekker ned en meget godt helhetsinntrykk. Passer nok bedre for venner på tur enn familier og par som ønsker en veldig romantisk helg sammen!

Vraiment central à Dublin pour toutes les visites à pied, dans l'endroit le plus vieux de la ville. Appartement idéal pour une famille de 5 (2 chambres, salon + kitchenette) , difficile de trouver moins cher.
