First, don't trust google maps for the hotel location. It looked like it was directly between the city center and the airport, where I wanted, but after my last minute booking, I found it was to the North West of the city. It's boasted as being 15 minutes by car, but I was taking a bus, and had to go down into the city, then take another up to the hotel. (Bus 747 to the city, then Bus 40, or 40A to the hotel, if you're curious). The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and she even gave me a copy of bus information for getting to/from the city and airport. The room was decent, but I requested a non-smoking double and received a smoking twin. It did not smell though. It looked for the most part clean, but the bare white wall had tell tale signs of touch up paint on spots. there was a hair or two in the bathroom, but nothing that seriously stood out. There's internet in the lobby with 1 Euro for 8 minutes. Overall, it seemed okay, not spectacular. The worst part was the location.

Ardmore hotel is a good option if you do not mind taking buses to/from the city center. Hotel was nice, my room was very clean, and the staff helpful and friendly. It's about 20 min (by bus) from Dublin city center. Again, great option if you don't mind staying away from the city center.

Nice hotel, but a little outside the city centre. You will need to take a bus in, and if out late, a cab home. It is closer to the airport, so you'll save money in that respect. The rooms were nice (no hair dryers, which was strange) and relatively modern, and there was a decent bar in the hotel. I didn't like the breakfast at all.

The Hotel was clean and comfortable. The only problem was that without someone at the front desk, we couldn't get our car out of the gated parking lot. That cost us time getting to the airport that we could barely afford. The person who finally open the gate was apologetic. Hotel isn't near anything, the neighborhood around it is not the best.

Stayed in the Ardmore Hotel for one night only - it was good value, modern and clean. We had lunch in the bar which was tasty and reasonably priced. A bus to and from the city centre runs from just outside the hotel entrance. Also handy is a large Tesco within 5 mins walk from hotel. definitely would use the hotel again and recommend to others.

The Hotel was a definite four star quality, though it is located in changing area. If you have a car this hotel was a great value for the money. If you require public transportation this hotel by train requires you to take the bus into the city from the airport and then catch another bus back out to the Ardmore.

Great hotel to stay in for this trip to Dublin. It was a large, clean room at a very affortable price with a rather helpful staff. The only inconvenience is its proximity to the city center, but the bus stop is just outside the hotel and it is only a 10 minute ride into the middle of Dublin. On the plus side, if you need to get to and from the airport, it is only a short taxi ride to get there.

It has been a good stay at this hotel. It's a luxury for the amount of money ive paid.Expected to be noisy as it was St patricks but it wasnt in the night it was the cleaners during the day-slamming the doors and chatting in the corridors(it was frustrating).Requested if i could leave at 1pm asmy flight wasnt till 6pm and it was granted without hesitance from the night staff. There's no direct public transport to the airport-but bus stop is right at the front of the hotel to town which another bus can be taken from there to the airport.the wall sockets were a pain-tv wasnt working and i was told to plug and unplug it-no joy;a staff had to come.Trying to charge my phone and another socket playing up-it kept on stopping whilst its actively charging.Shower/bath tap couldnt be converted-another staff had to fix it as the lever is stuck and the handle was broken. Its clean and a pleasant place to stay at.Very roomy too.

The hotel is very conveniently placed with a bus stop right outside and buses going frequently to and from the city centre - we never had to wait for more than a few minutes for a bus to come along. We didn't spend a huge amount of time in the hotel - there was just too much to do elsewhere - so can't comment on the bar or restaurant, but the room and bathroom was a good size and very clean. The reason for the 4 rating for comfort of the room was because the bed was quite hard, but we still had a good night's sleep. Our stay in Dublin was far too short and we're planning to go back, for longer next time. We'd definitely go back to the Ardmore.

We stayed two nights at the beginning of our Ireland visit, and one at the end, because of its proximity to the airport. The hotel is very modern - almost spartan - but clean, comfortable and new. Did not eat in the restaurant, as it seemed a bit pricey, but the bar had quite good food, just not very good service; appears to be continually understaffed. Our only problem was the music on Sunday night (unusual night for a live band...) - do NOT get a room above the bar on any floor - you will not sleep. They were very nice and found us another room. For the price, if you are just interested in a VERY reasonable room, this is an excellent choice.

We had a good stay at the Ardmore Hotel. I would probably stay here again. Overall the staff are friendly but the maids in the morning do talk quite loudly which woke me up. The rooms are clean. There definitely isn't an issue about the condition of the hotel or the cleanliness of it. Everything was in working order when we stayed, and it is clearly a well-looked after hotel. I always felt secure in the hotel but I did notice two things. First, the rooms and lifts are accessed via keycards which they say will only go to the ground floor and your room level but this is incorrect. Also, after the room was tidied, the maid left the window open in the room. We didn't return until late that evening and I wouldn't have left the window open if I was in my own house. There is nothing that stands out as particularly outstanding about this hotel. It was a decent hotel in an OK location. It is a 10 minutes bus ride away from the town centre and it took us a good hour to find out where the bus stop was! However, the bus drivers on the route are friendly and a good laugh.

I had a last minute travel delay after two long weeks of corporate business in Paris. Frustrated with the US based corporate travel service for a basic and immediate need, I was able to quickly search hotels.com with key word of Dublin Airport for a last minute, inexpensive, safe, and "airport close" rest stop as I prepared to board at CDG for Dublin. The hotel staff was efficient in their accomodation of my weary condition. The bathroom was very clean with nice floor and wall tile. Furnishings were not tacky and the room felt clean. The hotel was quiet and easy to reach via taxi. The wake up call was delivered with a real human voice! Nice!!

It's close to city centre, just 10-15 mins bus journey by no. 40 at Parnell Street. The bus stop at the hotel, which is very convenient. It really saves time for long journey. If you buy a rambler ticket (bus pass), you can get on all Dublin buses for unlimited travel for free including the airlink. For 1 day pass, 6Euro for 1 adult (same price as the single ticket of airlink between airport and centre). 10Euro for family (suitable for 2 adults+upto 4children). For the hotel, the staff are helpful. We like the ice machine, you can get ice for free if you fancy cold drinks. The room is a bit small but ok for a short stay. The wall is thin.

I stayed at the Ardmore for two nights at the end of a week in Ireland. It's very convenient to the airport and only 10-15 minutes by bus to the city center. There isn't anything in the neighborhood itself (other than a large cemetary), but it was clean and modern with a good bar and they will serve you drinks in the lobby all night long even after the bar closes! There was a terrible cover band made up of a bunch of middle aged men playing til after 11 the first night who we could hear all the way up on the third floor, which was a little unpleasant, but overall, it was a good stay.

I needed a hotel near Dublin Airport so I wouldn't have to fight morning rush hour. It served the purpose. Bar food was available until 9 PM, but my 12 year old son and I had to sit near the bar's exit in order to eat dinner at 8:30. The shower was part of the bathroom floor and didn't slope towards a drain - towels blocked the water from reaching the bathroom door. Room smelled slightly of cigarettes. Wake up call came on time and staff was efficient. WiFi available free in the lobby if you have a laptop.
