Great Hotel, definately recommend it to others. We didn't try the food as we didn't have time, but that looked good too. Great Decor and room was comfy and spacious. Location is a few miles from Dublin City Centre but what you lose is travelling distance from the city, you gain with the relaxing surroundings and not bogged down with traffic!! We will go back next time in Dublin.

Hotel exceeded our expectations. Allowed to check in 6 hrs. early upon our arrival from Dublin Airport.

We were so pleased with our stay. The staff was lovely and so accomodating. The rooms were very quiet and the hotel was lovely. It was just a short walk to take the bus into Dublin. Castleknock is a lovely village and the people are great!

Stayed for one night for a wedding in July, everything about this hotel was excellent. Check-in was efficient and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate, with separate bath and shower in the bathroom, egyptian cotton sheets and comfortable bed. The only complaint I would have is that the room was very warm and even opening the windows didn't help to cool it (there was no air-conditioning). Food at the wedding dinner and at breakfast was excellent, if a little over-priced (16.95 for a full-Irish). Overall a very pleasant stay.

My boyfriend & I wanted our last night in Ireland to be a little luxurious so we decided to stay in Castlenock before our flight back to the UK the next day. We weren't disappointed as we enjoyed our last night there. Hotel is new & very clean. Our room very spacious and clean too. Bed comfortable and nice bathroom. Only thing i would say is that it was very hot in the room and there is no aircon that we could see and windows don't open out fully. We enjoyed sitting outside with a pint looking out over the pond (might be known as the lake but was very small) and the golf course - very relaxing. There is a nice selection of bars & restaurant if you want to stay in for the night. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam & dry rooms. Nice pool too but we didn't have time for swimming, only relaxation. Would stay again as we got a good price for the night.

Clean, comfortable, very nice hotel in affluent suburb of Dublin. About a 10 minute drive to the city center. The town, Castleknock, where the hotel is located is very nice and has several good restaurants. Hotel is great so long as you rent a car. The hotel did not have air conditioning in the guest rooms, which was surprising given the 4 star rating. Rooms were very nice. Friendly staff. A computer was located on each floor where internet time could be purchased for a few euros--very convenient. The fitness center was large and contained a variety of high-end equipment. Very nice indoor swimming pool.

I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful, Nice area, but you will definitely need a car to get there. The golf course looks very nice. Next time I'll bring the clubs. Highly recommend.

This hotel is really removed from any tourist attractions except for the golf course. There are no restaurants or attractions of note nearby. There were a lot of families and the hotel seemed a bit Disney esque.

Excellent hotel apart from squeaky chairs in restaurant. Doesn't have air-con so the first warm day we had in Ireland meant the room was a little too warm at night...wouldn't perceive this to be a problem generally!

Excellent facilities and room comfort

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean. I found the price of the breakfast a little high, I had toast and tea for €13. Ouch. The heat in my room durning the night was was too hot. No way to cool in down except to open a window.

Amazing hotel staff on the front desk were lovely and the room was beautiful the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the breakfast a bit expensive and not the best cooked breakfast I've ever had but overall would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Overall a very pleasant experience. Very new, clean hotel, good quality staff, excellent facilities, attractive countryside location. Surprisingly easy to get to Dublin centre for a night out using the bus too. Nice rooms, very comfy beds and british tv channels. Really nice pool and gym, didn't play golf but the course looked to be in excellent condition. Negative aspect: food not great and very expensive, try the Carpenter Pub, a few minutes walk away for an excellent carvery instead. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was lovelyu apart from the fact that the sheets on the bed were not the best, I was convinced we had bed bugs as myself and my partner could not stop scratching. the chamber staff it seems did not change our sheets on teh second day we were tehre and we had asked for the room to be serviced. I would visit the hotel again but the room cleaningwas very poor in my opinion.

We purposed to stay outside of Dublin to avoid the crowds and enjoy the beauty of Ireland. This hotel is fantastic!!The staff was more than accommodating, the manager was very hospitable, the bartender Elain was darling and the other bar tender, I don't remember his name (perhaps middle eastern) was also a delight! They all made our stay very enjoyable! We'll definately be back!!!! It is well worth the $13 euro to get into town.

If you are driving while you are staying in Ireland I could not imagine a better place. Somewhat secluded, but 15 minute drive from just about anywhere you want to go. Also if you enjoy golf this is the place to be.

Nice hotel, staff helpful, location isnt great if you are heading to dublin city centre, no public transport, you need to get taxis everywhere - not cheap !

nice hotel but disappionted because beauty salon had closed day before we arrived this was one of the reasons for booking this hotel so our husbands could play golf and my friend and i could relax and be pampered hotel quite a way from dublin city and taxis very expensive think next time would rather have a city hotel nearer to ameneties overall wouldnt class this hotel a four star

Fantastic! My sister and I booked last minute (literally 12 hours before we arrived) and I was a little sceptical but it was the nicest hotel I've stayed in. Rooms were clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful, leisure facilities were excellent. The New Zealand Rugby Team apparently stayed there a few weeks ago! I would recomend getting the 3 day, 25 Euro Freedom pass, it takes about 40 minutes to get from the hotel to the centre but it is worth it. Can not tell you how lovely this hotel is.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times now, and have never been disappointed with anything. Room size is better than most, always clean,good food and just slightly off the beaten track so is fairly quiet too. It is in the perfect location for me when visiting family who live in Clonsilla. It is also only about 10 minutes drive from Dublin centre, and it's now the only hotel i want use when in Dublin!

i had a lovely stay in the castleknock hotel-staff were lovely. the only fault i had was that the shower was not great-i stayed an room 121-other than that everything was great.

This is a very well presented, new Hotel adjacent to an excellent championship golf course where you can hire golf clubs. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it's nice to have a last drink in the late bar, to end the night after a trip to Dublins' Temple Bar area.

We stayed at this hotel for our visit to Dublin. The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. We used the fitness room and pool/sauna facilities and they were excellent. We had a few meals in the hotel and the food and service was good. The hotel is just a very short drive or bike ride to Phoenix park. We didn't play golf, but walked a few holes. The fairways, greens and course layout appeared to be in great condition. We did have trouble finding this hotel as it didn't come up on GPS, and we tried to put in nearby location. Perhaps we should have just followed the hotel site directions from airport. Excellent hotel but visitors need to have a car to visit Dublin sites.

Fantastic hotel for the price!! Fabulous setting surrounding a golf course with some beautiful walks. The indooor pool has a 220 degree panoramic view of the golf course and is a joy to use. Good selection of gym equipment too. Large, comfortable rooms with lovely bathroom. Hotel lobby chic with a small bakery (useful when you miss breakfast!) and very comfortable. One small blot is that the bar/restaurant menu is very limited and quite expensive. Overall though very impressed.

Stayed here the night before returning home from a short break to Eire. Great rooms, beautifully furnished. Good facilities in the hotel. There was a company BBQ on that evening with a live band but finished thankfully at 2100hrs, but the guests kept us away with banging doors at 3am and shouting. What one gets if you stay on a Fri/Sat night in a large hotel. Otherwise, great and looking forward to returning midweek for a spot of golf

Beautiful hotel in peaceful area. Stayed with my daughter and we both enjoyed it. Nothing else in the immediate area, or within walking distance, so would either need a car or would have to take taxis. We had a car so it was easy to get to, but not sure if I'd want to stay there without one.

Keine Hausschuhe, Bademantel oder Minibar im Zimmer. Das Bad war schön mit Badewanne und Dusche, das Zimmer hübsch. Mir war das Bett zu weich und die Decke für 2 Personen zu schwer und plastikgefüllt. Wir hatten ein günstiges Zimmer, das zu den Parkplätzen und zum Eingangsbereich ausgerichtet war. Dorthin wurden die Raucher verbannt, die sich manchmal bis spät nachts mit irischem Temperament unterhielten. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern hörte man nichts mehr. Die Preise für Frühstück und Restaurant sind (typisch für Irland) ganz schön hoch, wir sind deshalb zum Essen in einen Pub gegangen. Das Schwimmbad ist mittelgroß und ganz schön.

Schitterend gelegen en prima hotel met zwembad, fitness,jacuzzi en sauna om na de drukte in de stad even te relaxen Auto huren is aan te bevelen wanneer je in dit hotel verblijft. Aansluiting met openbaar vervoer is moeilijk. Ideale uitvalsbasis om kleine trips te maken in en buiten Dublin. Wij hebben steeds onderweg gegeten in een pub. Lekker eten en zeker niet duur.

Zum Frühstück: Continentales Frühstück mit grosser Auswahl an Müsli, Käse, Wurst und frischem Obst! - Alterantive: irisches Frühstück - mit allem, was dazu gehört - auf die Sonderbestellung achten!! Wir hatten leider keine Zeit "Wellness" - machte von aussen einen guten Eindruck - toller Golfplatz neben dem Hotel Lage des Hotels: Grundsätzlich schwierig zu finden - wir hatten eine Navigation dabei - daher kein Problem - allerdings führt die verzeichnete Adresse nicht zum Ziel - bitte Adresse überprüfen!!!
