Hivernage Hotel And Spa - Marrakech

Clean hotel, courteous staff, there was always someone who spoke English there. Breakfast was incl. in our price and was an excellent start to every day! About 10 min safe walk to the heart of the souks/Place Jemaa. Comfort of the room was a 5 out of 5. If you want to splurge a little, but can't afford the Sofitel nearby, this is a good way to pamper yourself! I'd recommend the hammam/SPA at Hivernage as well.

Initially we were checked into a smoking twin room instead of a non-smoking double. On two occaisions on a four night stay we had to request towels. Safe broken, bath broke during stay. Reception failed to confirm bookings/get back to you regarding requests. Upstairs restaurant closed. Hassle by unauthorised tour agent - we were informed that this matter would be dealt with but the individual concerned was still loitering outside the hotel the next day. Oh, also don't expect to receive attention/service from staff whilst you are by the pool (which is partially in the shade the whole day). On the plus side it is in a good location for those wishing to stay near, but not in, the Medina.

We arrived early so we took advantage of the spa and the elegant but extremely comfortable lounge and reception The staff were excellent always available the preparation of the room was wonderful fresh flowers the works The best was the spa wonderful service definitely recommend and go back again

Make sure you request a room off the main street or above the first floor as resident DJ in the dining area is loud and plays until after 12pm...great location and very nice hotel but shame about the staff trying to rip you off!!

Hotel itself very good, in particular the rooms and public areas. We ate in the restaurant and some of the starters were off the menu. However the main gripe was the main course. We both had the meatball tagine, which whilst not bad, the dish had gone dry. Much prefered the food in the Riad Nogam

Having spent the previous three nights at Kasbah Tamadot, one of Sir Richard Bransons retreats which is also a five star- The Hivernage really struggled to come any where near the same quality from service through to it's amenities. Rooms were adequate but small in comparison, breakfast was certainly not of a five star standard and overall it was rated above it's category in our opinion.

J'y retournerai sans hesiter mais je regrette que la piscine soit souvent à l'ombre car enserrée dans un espace trop étroit entre les bâtiments. Pas de jardin. La terrasse au dernier étage était en travaux.

Bel hôtel mais côté service et propreté pas à niveau (odeur d'égouts dans les toilettes de la chambre, piscine intérieur sale, annulation des massages sans raison, linge de bain non disponible..)

L'hotel est de qualité mais ce n'est pas toujours le cas pour le service, la piscine est petite et l'on compte a peine une 20aine de transat. La suite junior n'est pas une suite mais une chambre supérieur. L'ambiance de la chmabre n'est pas tres chaleureuse. Cependant le petit dejeuner est vraiment excellent et je n'ai pas hesité a me lever plus tot pour en profiter.

bien situé, très bel hôtel. les chambres sont confortables et bien décorées. le personnel est accueillant et à l'écoute. le SPA est très bien aussi. bref j'y retourne avec plaisir.

Excellent petit déjeuner par lequel vous avez un choix exceptionnel de produits frais (fruits) et viennoiserie. Les Francais devraient d'avantage s'en inspirer. Il est conseillé de ne pas prendre la chambre 617 qui est juste au dessous de l'extracteur des salles de bains et donc trop bruyante. Il vous la change sur simple demande. Le restaurant n'est pas exceptionnel Le tea room est lui excellent. Evaluation positive

hôtel conforme à ce qu'on attend de ce type de structure : locaux et équipements agréables, personnel compétent et aimable, spa et coiffeur sur place...bien placé. Restaurant "la table du marché" de qualité. N'a pas le charme des petites strucutres, mais on le sait à l'avance quand on choisit ce type d'endroits. Seul bémol, la salle des petits déjeuners est assez bruyante et les tables trop rapprochées les unes des autres. Cela reste une bonne adresse.

Très bien situé, proche à pied du centre ville, cet hôtel n'est pas trop grand. Le service y est d'une grande qualité. de notre chambre une sublime vue sur les remparts et la Koutoubia, mais une isolation à rénover. Excellent restaurant mais à prix européens. Idem pour le hammam qu'il faut réserver bien à l'avance. Pas de parc et une petite piscine, ce n'est pas un hôtel pour la bronzette.

just beautiful! Excellent service made you feel incredibly welcome. Lovely interiour makes you want to stay in the hotel, even with Marrakech to explore... Breakfast splendid, with everything you could desire including a world of fresh fruits. Room could have been bigger, but o so nice! Just great - however in the cold season the pool should have been warm!
