Vime Corregidor - Sevilla

Well presented hotel within easy walking distance of local attractions. Very friendly, helpful staff.

The location was very good - about 10 minutes walk to the main sights and shopping area and Alameda de Hercules with bars and places to eat just around the corner. Fairly easy to get to from the airport as well. The AC in the room was working well, not noisy at all, and the rooms were kept clean. The lady on reception was not very forthcoming with tips and directons, and even told me that Cadiz was too far away for a day trip, but I knew better :) Overall, good value for money, and suitable for a short break.

The hotel staff were exceptional. Knew alot about the city and were very helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful and located within walking distance of everything.

This hotel was very interesting. It is on a side street of a side street, only accessible by foot. The area looks dumpy but the hotel is very nice. The staff is wonderful and very helpful.

This was a nice hotel with a beautiful lobby area and very helpful staff. The room was small but well maintained and the bathroom was tiny. They sprayed the room (as I found is quite common in Spain with the most vile perfume. They had a breakfast buffet available but it was quite pricey. The only real negative was the location as it was 6-10 euros each time we needed to get a cab to the areas we wanted to be in or about a 20-30 minute walk. We couldn't get anything closer because we were there during Semana Santa but if we went back I would look for something closer to the cathedral.

Driving to the Vime was difficult, since the hotel is located on a tiny alley (in fact, it's the only structure on its "street" ... and you can't drive on the "street" ... it's more like an extended sidewalk). Also, driving in that area of Seville can be very challenging, so have a good map and a lot of patience if you're attempting. Parking is actually down the street at the department store, so it make sense to go there first. The hotel itself was fine, nothing special. It has a pretty lobby. Didn't try the food. Room was functional, TV was tiny, bed was ok. No complaints. No raves. For the price, it was a good deal, since the location is quite good.

Great place to stay , handy for everything easy to find. Friendly staff and helpful. Would recommend to anyone and we will be staying there again. The rooms on the front can be noisey ask for a rear room if this bothers you. All in all a fantastic find. A+

The Corregidor is well located for most of Sevilles obvious and less obvious attractions. The hotel is spotlessly clean and generally of a higher standard than its 3* rating would suggest. However the room we had (302) was uncomfortably small for 2 people and the bed was 3/4 size rather than a standard double. I dare say they have bigger rooms and we did request one, but were advised that the hotel was full.

i am sure this hotel was only listed as a 2 or 3 star, however when we got inside it looked like a plush 4 or 5 star hotel, very nice inside. the room was large(ish) and imacculate. we had two single beds together rather than a double, but then this room was advertised as a twin and i am not sure if they also offer doubles. staff were quite helpful, only thing is there was not alot of info oj display about tourist attractions etc, but then tourist information was not much better. the breakfast was lovely and all you can eat, BUT very pricey. however because we needed to get going early each da we stuck with it. if you have more time and/or more of a budget then you would be better looking elsewhere for breakfast.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Corregidor on a whirlwind trip through Andalucia. It was a very nice hotel, located away from the busiest areas of the center, but still close enough to see all the major sites. The narrow, winding streets were terribly confusing at first, but once we got oriented the attractions were closer than we thought. We did not rent a car and were really glad we didn't have that headache. The breakfast was very good and the courtyard seating was lovely. A nice and convenient way to start the day. Our room was very nicely decorated and just enough space for two people. The bathroom was nice, though we had ants in ours. Not enough to change rooms, but they were hard to ignore entirely. The staff were helpful and gave each guest thorough attention. Overall I would stay at the Corregidor again.

The hotel Vime Corregidor was a very typical European hotel. It was very clean, the rooms were small, it offered a nice breakfast. The staff was wonderful. They were helpful, spoke English well, printed off our boarding passes and kept our passports and extra money safely. The only problem we had with the hotel was that it was in a somewhat seedy neighborhood (only about 2 blocks). Other than that it was in easy walking distance of the cathedral, Alcazar and Giralda. We were just careful to be in the hotel by dark. We would stay in the hotel again. It was a good value.

The hotel was relatively central to major attractions, really stylish lobby, room was comfortable and air conditioned. One criticism was that the bar was closed upon arrival back to hotel at midnight and the receptionist refused to bring us water (told us to use water from mini bar)

The Vime Corregidor is a pleasant hotel with a nice atmosphere off the beaten track. Personnel are very helpful and the hotel was clean. Room was small - typical of many small European hotels - but was clean and overall comfortable. At least one person on staff spoke English, which we found to be very helpful. Breakfast buffet was a good start to the day and an evening night cap in the attractive courtyard was a nice ending to the day. The hotel is located in an older/historic section of the city that seems to be re-developing. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to most restaurants and tourist attractions. However, we ate (twice) at an excellent nearby rstaurant recommended by the hotel. We would definitely stay at the Vime Corregidor again.

The hotel is really nice - the outside, the lobby and the rooms are impressive. I didn't feel the service was very good, not only was there always a line at the front desk, but most of them did not speak English (I realize I was in Spain and I shouldn't expect everyone to know English, but most of the guests I saw were American or non-Spanish Europeans and I noticed that everyone was having the same problem when trying to talk to the staff). The only other problem was that if you have a room facing the front of the hotel you will be awaken by very noisy trash removal at about 8 am.

Very comfortable, good quality hotel - very polite and helpful staff. Nice area and only 10 or 15 minutes pleasant walk to main attractions. Room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. Breakfast though was expensive at 12 Euros. Would definitely stay there again. Jim & Birgitte - Liverpool

Fully reccomended-perfect for shopping (5mins) , bars/cafes 1 min, 10 mins walk for Giralda / and Santa Cruz (old bit) - but spot on hotel for bargain price off hotels.com (no I dont work for them!)

On the Plus Side: Hotel is clean, rooms are fair size (meaning not claustraphobically small), well equipped bathroom, and AC works great. Location is fair, approx 15-20 min walk to Cathedral. On the Minus Side: rooms facing the street are extremely noisy (auto/scooter and people noise at all hours), front desk staff spoke minimal English and so could not provide basic functions such as make reservations, parking is extra with hefty fee. I literally had to wear ear plugs each night in order to sleep.

The only issue with this hotel was the distance to main areas. Beautiful and safe walking, but at least 15 minutes to get to main areas. Hotel otherwise quiet, clean, courteous.

It was my first trip to Spain and I wasn't sure what to expect from the descriptions on line. But it was a pleasant surprise to see that the hotel was located just at the right spot. The city was undergoing a lot of construction while we were there but since the hotel is tucked away from all the big streets (but close enough) the construction noise wasn't a problem in the morning. The room was clean and the staff friendly. As I said the hotel location is still pretty convenient to all major streets.

Ein ansprechendes Hotel in zentraler Lage mit einem wunderschönen Patio dort lässt sich genüsslich das Frühstück einnehmen oder während der Siesta die nächsten Touren durch Sevilla planen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel sowie mit leiser Klimaanlage ausgestattet.

Kamer en hotel goed, maar niet geweldig. Wat kleine vochtproblemen in de douche, maar daarvan hadden we geen last. Wel erg veel geluid 's avonds en nachts van de naburige kamers (douches, WCs, etc). Gezellige centrale lobby met gelegenheid buiten te zitten op een klein pleintje. Barservice mocht sneller. Wel behulpzaam presoneel aan de balie. Gelegenheid de koffer na check-out nog een tijdje te laten staan. Gelegen vlak by de Alameda de Herules, met voldoende terrasjes en eetgelegeheden (ook voor ontbijt).

Les chambres sont très correctes, le service bon. L'hotel est à 10 minutes à pieds de toutes les attractions touristiques mais n'a pas une situation centrale. L'hotel a des bons prix sur le parking situé à quelques rues...

Die Zimmer waren für Ihre Preislage O.K. - jedoch sehr klein! Die Parksituation war katastrophal. Es gab zwar eine Garage des Hotels, dort aber nur insgesamt 6 Stellplätze! Die Garage war auch ein paar Häuser entfernt und nur von Ortskundigen direkt mit Auto zu finden, da Einbahnstraße!!!

Het hotel ligt op een prima locatie. Goed verzorgd, zeer prettige ongeving. Ontbijt in paio was gezellig en lekker.

la chambre est tres bien,le service correct,proporeté rien a redire seul defaut la chambre n'est pas du tout insonorisée,le moindre bruit de la chambre voisine ou du couloir s'entend le prix du petit dejeuner trés moyen est trop chere = 12 euros

alleine das ständige Zuknallen der Zimmertüren hat mir die Entscheidung für dieses Hotel leicht gemacht. Nie mehr dort hin!

Das Hotel in Sevilla war wirklich sehr schön, sehr zentral gelegen und es hat Spass gemacht, dort zu verweilen. Einziger kleiner Mängelpunkt war das teure Frühstück. 12 Euro pro Person sind ein bisschen vie,oder? Macht aber nichts, denn es gibt genug Cafes in der Nähe, wo man prima frühstücken kann.:)

Die Lage des Hotels in Sevilla ist wirklich gut, man kann die Innenstadt mit ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Allerdings braucht man viel Geduld und nette Passenten um es zu finden. Unser Zimmer befand sich im 1.OG, war sehr klein und hatte ein kleines Fenster, das zum Innenhof ging und mit Strukturglas versehen war.

Das "VIME CORREGIDOR" hat alle unsere Erwartungen an ein 3-Sterne-Hotel übertroffen. Komfort, Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter waren vorbildlich. Einziger Nachteil für Gäste mit eigenem PKW: Es gibt keinen Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Näher des Hotels, sondern lediglich eine Tiefgarage in einiger Entfernung.

Hôtel satisfaisant, dans le vieux quartier, à 15 minutes à pied de la cathédrale, propre, ouvert tôt et tard. Personnel disponible. Le petit déjeuner (à volonté) est en plus (environ 12 euros fin septembre 2007). Un établissement fiable. Très joli hall d'accueil.
