Isaacs Hostel - Dublín

The hostel was in a good central location, only 5 min walk from O'Connell Street. It was next to a railway line, but the noise wasn't too noticeable and no train were running at night. The Hostel itself was clean, modern (parts of it were still being refurbished) and had a fantastic atmoshphere. The communal areas were well furnished and exactly what you needed to sit and either relax or eat and drink. The Isaacs was a fantastic hostel, ideal for those on a budget, and although the rooms obviously were'nt as comfortable as those in more expensive hotels, I would say the atmoshpere and amenities more than made up for it.

Hostel is exactly what you want from a cheap place in the city- great location, free breakfast and cheap! Can't ask for anything more....

Tucked down a little road the hostel looks pretty on the outside and the reception area is modern clean and welcoming. Unfortunately the staff were not. They weren't very helpful and thought they were slightely rude. I arrived a little early and told to come back later, which is fair enough but I couldn't leave my bag so had to carry it around. When I did get to the room I was surprised at how nice it was for a cheap hostel/ Refurbishment was happening so I got lucky and had a refurbished room! Breakfast was pretty terrible. The kitchen seemed dirty and the toaster didn't work properly and the smell of burnt toast haunted me all day. So I avoided that the next day. All in all though for the price I payed it wasn't a bad experience, would have been better if the staff were happier though.

Good transport connection...buzzing young crowd atmosphere

The issac hostel is one of the best venues to stay in Dublin, not only is it right on the doorstep of the river liffy but witihin 5 mins of thr town centre and all the attractions. It is great for pricing and a really cheap way to stop in dublin, don't be put off by others sharing a room as I found the experience enjoyable.

l'hotel est vraiment bien placé, vraiment sympa (notamment la cuisine à disposition de tous les résidents). Seul bémol : il est vraiment mal isolé et il en résulte beaucoup de bruit

Det er et hostel, så man får det et hostel gir. Rommene er små, med en dobbelseng og en hylle med speil. God seng å sove i. Frokosten lager du selv, på et kjøkken. De har brød, smør og bringebærsyltetøy. og juice, kaffe melk. vil du ha annet kjøper du inn dette selv og setter i kjøleskapet på kjøkkenet. Man deler toalett med andre, det er helt ok, men hadde vært fint om hotels.com informerte om dette på sine sider. Ligger HELT sentralt, og derfor er prisen høy til å være et hostel. KOSELIG bevertning, bra renhold. men man må være ute av rommet hver dag mellom 11 og 1430. Det er litt slitsomt av og til.

Isaacs Hostel est parfait si vous êtes jeune, étudiant et que vous aimez les rencontres. Des jeunes de tous les horizons se croisent et y font connaissance. En revanche pour un voyage familiale c'est loin d'être idéal. L'hotel est assez bruyant, les chambres très simple et les douches et toilettes assez vétuste... Quand nous sommes parti une partie de l'hotel était en rénovation donc peut être que les futures améliorations arrangeront ça.

We booked this for the weekend and had no expectations because it was so cheap. It is an ok hostel end the blankets is very comfy :-) if you are going to Dublin for the pubs an city life and needs a cheap place to stay, this hostel is more than adequate :-)

Det var verkligen väl värt pengarna! Det var rent och fint även om toaletterna hade kunnat få sig en uppfräschning mer än en gång per dag. Duscharna var däremot fina. Det var rent på rummet och personalen var väldigt hjälpsam. Stället kändes tryggt och frukosten (rostade mackor + smör & sylt) var bra. Trevligt läge nära allt, även om just tvärgatan det ligger på SER lite skum ut. Ett budget hostel som känns nytt och fint helt enkelt!

per i giovani come ostello non e' male ce la cucina fai da te,la lavatrice, la sauna,internet, nella hall tavoli e panche in legno dove ci si puo' guardare la tv. peccato che le camere con piu' letti non vengono mai puliti e il lenzuola per il ne danno solo uno mentre coperta e coprimaterasso sono sempre quelli usati dalle precedenti persone.

location location location, but that is it. the rest horrible loud, you hear each step, each door, little sleep possible. either you are very adaptable and tolerant or you better stay off this hostel. self cathering ok, excellent location that should be improved

Jag tyckte att man fick dårlig info vad som fans på hotelet. det ända man fick reda på vad köket låg. resten fick man ta reda på själv, så jag kommer inte att bo på det ställe igen

Der løber et S-tog 10m fra ejendommen og bad/toilet forhold uhumske!

het betreft een hostel maar de volgende keer voor 50 euro meer ben ik in een hotel te vinden

Assez sale (surtout les espaces d'eau), dortoir assez bruyant. Par contre petit dej, accès internet et consigne OK
