It was lovely! Staff really friendly and helpful :) the breakfast was simple, but ok. Location was good, just a short walk to O'Connel St. - the main road in Dublin. Very clean and safe, which makes you feel good on holidays.

A bit over priced for what you get.. I mean I wasn't expecting much and still wasn't too impressed.

I booked a twin room (I can't speak to the quality of the dorms) for 5 nights and it was unexpectedly wonderful. The staff is helpful and provided us with a place to secure our luggage while our room was being prepared (we arrived early). The door from the lobby to the elevator is secured with a swipe-card lock as is the elevator itself so it is very difficult for someone to get to your room. The rooms, of course, are also locked in such a fashion. The room was fantastic, far exceeding expectations for a hostel. The bunk bed in the room had a full sized mattress on the lower bunk and a twin on top. Everything was impeccably clean. There was a flat panel TV mounted to the wall with cable, a private in-room bathroom that was very spacious and clean (even by hotel standards). The room also had a closet which included a safe to store valuables. There was even a hair dryer provided in the room (I know, exciting eh?). It is located about a minute from Connolly Train Station and the Central Bus station (across the street, in fact), and only 5 min from the city center on O'Connell Street (at the spike). The city buses (including the double decker tours) leave from the city center constantly. The only down side to the proximity to Connolly station is that the trains pass through continually, and while the noise is not overbearing it is noticeable. Honestly though, it is not bad and, unless you are an incredibly light sleeper, you will likely not notice. They do specify a room cleaning time from 11am to 3pm where they request that you are not in the room if possible. But if you are using your time in Dublin properly, this should be no problem at all. We never really noticed since we were always out by at least 9am and not back before 5pm... there is plenty to do in the city center! Besides, it's worth it... the rooms are very clean when you come back and they provide clean sheets and towels. In the 5 nights we were there, I never had a single complaint.

Like spending a night at a middle school summer camp

I had very low expectations on this hostel since it's really cheap, but I was in for a positive surprise. Close to The Spire, Conolly Station and Temple Bar District, located in a quiet area. Staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. Free breakfast, real simple but very acceptable considering the price you pay when staying. Well equipped kitchen for your convenience, and movie night every night at nine with free popcorn. I'm definitley staying there again.

Assez bruyant la nuit: les portes claquent, les gens crient. Bien situé, on a tout visité à pieds. Il y a une cuisine au rez-de-chaussée, c'était assez pratique. L'auberge est toutefois un peu chère, mais tout est cher à Dublin... Il faisait assez chaud dans la chambre, même en laissant la fenêtre ouverte toute la journée et en coupant le chauffage (pourtant on est venu en février). On était dans une chambre pour 2 personnes, c'était des lits superposés et on avait notre salle de bain, c'était correct. Le petit déjeuner est assez simple: thé, café, tartines avec du beurre ou de la confiture mais c'est à volonté

Service très chalereux, bon acceuil, bonne ambiance, il faut cependant être conciliant pour la vie en dortoir. Très bon avis.

Hotel pas trop mal pour 1 ou 2 jours. Probleme de calme la nuit(sutout le week end avec les kids). sinon un poile loin du centre si vous etes a pied. brea fast compris.

chambres de 4 tres sympa, dortoirs embetant pr les fétards.....ambiance colo super sympa beaucoup de français. un peu loin des pub.s
