Petit Palace Santa Cruz - Sevilla

Como en otros hoteles de la cadena High Tech o Petit Palace, el diseño es muy correcto pero el problema que tienen estos hoteles es que las reformas están hechas con materiales de poca calidad y el mantenimiento es totalmente deficiente para un hotel catalogado como de 4 estrellas. Es una pena porque la ubicación es fantástica, en una calle tranquila y céntrica.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner. Hotel is in a great location for exploring the historical sights of Seville. The laptop in the room with free net access was a big help, the bathrooms are great and the option to hire the hotels bikes for free enabled us to see so much more of seville then we would have on foot. We would highly recommend to others and stay again if we go back to Seville.

The hotel was very modern, and clean. There was a laptop in our room with free internet access which was great. The room was not large, but it did have about 20 foot celings which gave it a bigger appearance. The location isnt GREAT, but it's only a 10-15 minute walk to most of the sights. Overall it was a nice experience and the staff was very friendly/helpful.

Easy walking distance to the Cathedral, river side, and shopping area. The streets in the area are easy to get lost in, but it's probably part of the fun. The decoration and design are very modern, with free laptop to use in each room. The vent in the original room we got was broken, so the bathroom has moldy smell. It's not a problem after switching rooms, but the second room is quite small, even with European standard.

I thought I'd extract some value by booking a family room for our family of 4. Turns out the family room only fits 2, maybe 3. I ended up paying for a second room (at a far better rate than I got for the family room). Being in the Barrio Santa Cruz is a plus -- close to the historic district with lots of eating options and liveliness. The staff was helpful and our family enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was much more complete than I would've guessed for such a small hotel. Overall -- decent.

biggest mistake we made was not staying longer in Sevilla and @ Petit Santa Cruz, great hotel!

The hotel was quiet and inviting with a modern feel. The reception attendees all spoke english well and were able to give us a map and directions to nearby attractions. There is a restaurant and convenience store just outside the hotel-which we gladly took advantage of. It's about a 5 - 10 min walk to some of the main attractions (Cathedral, Alcazar, Light Rail, etc). The rooms are furnished with laptops and free internet access. The biggest disappointment was that the room felt very muggy/humid. When you got into bed you could feel the sheets were muggy and sort of uncomfortable. I would assume this is because there is no good ventilation from the bathroom to the outside. (The shower was like a spa, it had multiple heads/spray options) The breakfast area was very nice looking howerver we did not take advantage of this option.

Enjoyed our stay, the free internet was much appreciated also with the computer already set up in the room. Unique, small hotel in a charming neighborhood 5 min walk to the cathedral.

This hotel was in a great location and the customer service was excellent. We found the "triple room" to be a little small and poorly laid out even by European Standards. The air conditioning was a bit inadequate, especially in the Sevilla heat. Do - Rent a car and take the two hour drive to Ronda and the "Pueblas Blancas". Well worth it and it gives a very different look at Spain. Don't - Take the Sevilla bus tour. By far the worst we've ever taken. Most of the time the bus sits at traffic lights with no commentary of any sort, since the sites are almost all in the pedestrian only zone - where they do not guide you. No air conditioning in the bus. Terrible.

Santa Cruz is the neighborhood to stay in. Walking distance down interesting streets to all major sites, great restaurants, tapas bars & nightlife. We recommend breakfast cafe outside front door. Staff extremely helpful. We found parking on street but that's unusual.

Nice, new interior, quiet and interesting minimalistic theme. Great to have internet access in room with provided laptop although wifi didnt work for personal computer. Staff spoke great English and were easy to deal with.

Seville's Santa Cruz district is a maze of small squares linked by narrow cobbled streets. It's also home to the Petite Palace, an oasis of cool modernism in the city's often stultifying heat. Rooms are arranged around the galleried floors and reflect the country's commitment to showing its modern face while never forgetting its tradition-steeped history. All the trappings of 21st-century living (flat-screen TV, walk-in shower, air conditioning) are present. Rooms are not huge, but logically laid out. The bathroom's (obscured) glass walls and lavatory's close proximity suggest you should be on familiar terms with your room mate. Breakfasts are worth the extra and staff competent and approachable.

The room was a triple, and once the bunks were opened, the space was pretty tight. There was only one hard desk chair, so you have to sit on the beds to relax. The door to the bath is made of frosted glass through which you can see shadows clearly, and it doesn't shut tightly so bathroom noise is very evident in the bedroom part. However, sleeping was quiet and comfortable.

Overall our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The staff accommodating. The hotel is part of the HiTech Hotel Group. However, it would appear the only things hi-tech about the hotel are the fact that it offers free WiFi and the room we had possessed a flat screen TV. Other than that, it was comparable to other hotels I've stayed in in Seville. All the hotels in Seville are pricey, but then again, with the Euro as high as it is, and the dollar as low as it is, it's no wonder! I would stay there again if I visit Seville again.

This hotel has great service and is in an excellent location in central Sevilla. The building is a restored palace/school and is very unique. There are computers in the room and there is additonal internet access in the lobby. The staff is friendly and will help make your stay a fun experience. The only downside is the breakfast room which is awkwardly situated and cumbersome to navigate, but this is fairly minor.

I can highly recommend this hotel. It is very cerntrally located. Pretty much everything you'll want to see and do in Seville is walkable from here. Rooms are "high tech/minimal" but in a good way. There is 24-hour free internet access in the foyer and wi-fi broadband everywhere in the hotel. Stay friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast (not included in the hotels.com room rate and cost Euro 14 pp) was very good.

Great location in the Jewish Quarter. At least 2 processions passed directly in front of the Petit Palace Santa Cruz. If you get a room overlooking the square, you'll have a ring side seat!

The hotel was very modern and sharp looking. If you're looking for charm, this is not the hotel for you. There are lovely balconies that overlook the charming streets, however. It was Easter week and there is a lovely church just outside the front door. Unfortunately, the services during Easter week, all over Spain, do not allow you to enter your hotel for several hours. There was no notice of this anywhere. It was quite frightening trying to get back to the hotel, and the crowds had a very angry, group mentality. One man hit my 16 year old son, then stepped on his feet that had just been operated on. The crowd refused to move aside and let us into the hotel. It took one hour to finally get in. The manager was at first defensive, but the problem was eventually worked out with a one night free stay. AND there were notices posted from that point on that guests would not be able to return to the hotel at certain times. Sometimes this was also at 1-3 AM in the morning, as the service ended then. We also had to leave 4 hours early to get to the train station because of services the next day. The streets are cordoned off EVERYWHERE in Spain. Unless you specifically want to experience Holy Week, and can wait to get to the airport OR train station, don't go at this time. Cabs can't get through either...

hôtel contemporain, très bien arrangé, un havre de paix à 5 min. à pied de LA rue aux bars à tapas. Chambre un peu petite mais avec des lits super confortables.Pas de bruit pour dormir (avec la clim bien sûr)

très bon hotel, chambres design, très bon accueil, pc a disposition dans les chambres, bon petit dej, pas de bruit. Juste, les lits sont un peu durs mais sinon, c'est parfait !

A quelques minutes de la cathédrale et du barillo Santa Cruz, hôtel chic au décor moderne et design. Chambre agréable donnant sur le patio avec terrasse et salle de bains spacieuse. Les points noirs: - pas de parking donc la galère quand on a loué une voiture (circuite andalousie) - hôtel très bruyant car insonorisation inexistante (de la chambre on entendait le téléphone de la réception sonner...) - petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur de la catégorie de l'hôtel: salle sinistre, peu de choix au buffet, pas de viennoiseries...

un vrai bonheur cet hôtel. Personnel tres charmant et tres agréable. Propreté impeccable, calme incroyable à 5min à pied du centre ville. Chambre super confortable. bref, vivement qu'on y retourne. et que dire du petit déjeuner: gargantuesque, délicieux et hyper complet
