"Fabulous Hotel with a great location"

I booked this hotel because of its stellar reviews and its great location right next to Málaga's train (María Zambrano) and bus station, meaning I had a 200 yard walk from my bus to the hotel, and a 50 yard walk from the hotel to the train station to catch the Cercanía (C1) to the Airport. It's right next to a Covirán supermarket, meaning quick groceries and/or snacks are a few seconds away and it's only a 20 minute walk from the center of town and about a 30 minute walk from the Malagueta (one of the downtown beaches). Additionally, the hotel boats a nice spa and jacuzzi, good service, a nice restaurant and very modernly equipped clean and pleasant rooms. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

over all the hotel was clean and most of the staff were very good, bad points no tea or coffee making equipement in the room , breakfeast war 12 euro which is crazy and parking was 12 euro a day even though hotel owned the car park

"Comfy Bed"

Stayed just one night traveling between towns in Southern Spain, but wished we could take this hotel with us along the way. A great business-type hotel with a good sized room and bathroom. The bed was really comfortable. I've stayed at multiple Silken hotels and have been pleased with what you get for the money.

"Great quality hotel"

Lovely hotel, very modern and stylish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the rooms were very warm and the air conditioning was turned off because it was winter (we stayed in Feb/March). This made the rooms uncomfortable. Apart from this excellent value for money.

we had a fantastic stay at this hotel. it's conveniently located right across the train station which has trains down the coast to some great beaches, or inland towards Cordoba, Granada, Seville etc. there is also good shopping centre inside the train station and a nice department store as soon as you step foot outside the hotel. the hotel itself is really nice and very clean, good service, great value and the spa is also really nice. would definitely recommend it. we'd heard a lot of bad things about malaga but none are true! it's a really nice city and possible to have a great weekend there. only thing is, the harbour area is not nice, but the old town is gorgeous.

"Good hotel"

This is a good hotel which t first sight seems a bit out of the city centre but excellent bus and train links make it easy to get into the city and to travel along the coast. A cab is about 4 euro into teh city but you can walk it too. The room was fine, the bed was huge! Very clean, and lovely staff. The spa was a welcome bonus. Didn't eat in the hotel but the bar was fine. We would stay here again, as it is so easy to get from the airport, the price was much cheaper than less good hotels right in the centre. Excellent

As usual the Silken group have another faultless hotel. Amazingly situated on the edge of the old town and a 2 minute walk from the railway station, making the journey to the airport an absolute'doddle'

"Noise"

Strange low frequency noise, on and off throughout the day and night. Loud enough to make the walls vibrate but barely audible, a bit like being on a ship. Noise from within the hotel as it continued on Sunday when adjacent construction site was quiet. Hotel convenient for bus and train and transport to airport but not a very salubrious area. Walk to centre required negotiation of extensive road-works. Malaga has many beautiful buildings covered in scaffolding and too many holes in the road (metro under constrution), I might return in five years.

"fantastisch hotel"

een fantastisch hotel dat ideaal gelegen is om Malaga te verkennen. Nieuwe treinstation met o.a. verbinding met vliegveld op loopafstand (binnen 5 min.). Heerlijk ontbijtbuffet maar zit niet bij de overnachtingprijs in.

"Lekker slapen niet ver van het centrum"

Het was een mooi hotel met een luxe uitstraling. Het ligt vlak naast het treinstation wat makkelijk is als je met de trein of bus wilt reizen. De kamers zijn zeer netjes met een mooie badkamer met ligbad. Jammer dat de bedden (twee losse) steeds uit elkaar schuiven. Het is niet al te ver lopen van het oude centrum. Iets verder is het naar het strand, maar goed te doen. Er is geen zwembad aanwezig, maar wel een jacuzzie met sauna. Supermarkt ligt tegenover en veel winkels bij het station.

Stilrent, rent och snyggt hotell. Prisvärt. Rena rum. Utsikten inte den bästa dock. Luftkonditioneringen fungerade inte hundraprocentigt i vårt rum tyvärr, därför blev det väldigt varmt. Annars klockrent.

Silken Puerta Malaga ligger nær jernbanestasjonen og busstasjonen i Malaga. På jernbanestasjonen er det mange butikker og spisesteder. Gode alternativ for frokost og andre måltider. Frokosten på hotellet er for dyr, 13 euro per pers. Stopp for sightseeingbuss (hopp på og av) utenfor jernbanestasjonen.

"Prima hotel voor een kort verblijf"

Wij kozen dit hotel vanwege de prijs en de foto's op internet. Het hotel is prima in orde. Er wordt goede service verleend , de kamers zijn in orde, goede badkamer etc. De ligging van het hotel viel ons tegen. De haven is een bezoek niet waard, de buurt maakt een shabby indruk en is in verbouwing (aanleg metro). Er zijn in de buurt geen leuke restaurants. Het oude centrum is echter in tien minuten wandelend te bereiken. Voor het strand moet je verder reizen. Het gloednieuwe station met verbinding naar Torremolinos is vlakbij.

Absolut prisvärt i på Solkusten. Rent, rymligt med god service. Enda nackdel något tråkig utsikt och en bit från stans centrum.

Modernt och bekvämt hotell med utmärkt läge nära buss och tågstation. Min enda kritik är att hotellet tillåter rökning och i och med det är alla offentliga ställen bl.a hissar ofta rökluktande

Waren 5 Tage im Januar dort, hatten nichts auszusetzen haben allerdings auch nur geschlafen die Verpflegung hatten wir uns in der Stadt besorgt. Der Internetanschluß hat per W-Lan und Kabel gut funktioniert. Die Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit, die Einrichtung sind für diesen Preis O.K.

War das 2. Mal in diesem Hotel. Schlicht aber schick! Gute Lage (gleich am Bahnhof/Busbahnhof), das Zentrum in Laufdistanz gelegen und auch der Spabereich lädt zum gemütlichen Verweilen statt.

Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Frukostbuffén var väl tilltagen och borde tilltala de flesta. Servicen var utmäkt. Hotellets interiör var stilren och tilltalande.

Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung an Bahn und Bus. Fußweg zum Zentrum leider relativ weit (ca. 1 km). Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen!

Leider war der Weg dorthin etwas schwierig wegen der SDtraßenbauarbeiten. Die Garage war nicht sofort einsehbar, der Name des Hotels von außen nicht erkennbar, weshalb wir erst einmal vorbeifuhren. Beim Betreten waren wir sehr angetan, es ist alles sehr übersichtlich. Was uns weniger gefiel war, dass das Restaurant lediglich durch eine Trennwand von der Lobby getrennt ist, auch die Bar ist etwas ungemütlich, da in die Lobby integriert. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.
