Hilton Paris La Defense - París

Overall an excellent hotel. Hotel is immaculate and well furnished. What is strange is the setting (inside a shopping mall so inside views and lack of natural light but if you are out most of the time, not a big issue). Also, this building is not finished (horrible view of concrete etc - rather resembling a war zone - whilst enjoying (THE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND WORTH STAYING FOR JUST FOR THIS) breakfast! Reception staff and breakfast staff excellent - very professional, pleasant and helpful - a credit to the hotel. A few miles out of central Paris but couldn't wish for easier access to the centre on the metro, just outside. Also, we enjoyed La Defense area - got to watch fireworks at the Eiffel Tower from here one evening. We found the area (and all of Paris really) to have a very relaxed, safe and enjoyable atmosphere. We really enjoyed our four night stay in Paris and were very pleased with the hotel. We stayed on a 'deal', at a reasonable price, so feel we got good value for money. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending it (but not at the rate advertised outside the hotel, which I'm sure they never charge - don't like this about the Hilton chain)! Located in the business district, 100meters from the metro that gets you to all the sights in about 10 minutes. Room was fine, staff were nice.

New, clean, and elegent 4-star hotel, steps away from Metro station, wonderful breakfast buffet, friendly and knowledgable staff.

The hotel is located in the outskirts of Paris and was a costly cab ride from the train station (Gare de Lyon),about $35 Euro. The facility itself is new and clean and comfortable. It has nearby access to the Metro so it is easy to get back into the city by train. The hotel is also fairly far from Charles De Gaulle airport and that is another costly cab ride with baggage ($55 Euro). I would recommend this hotel because of the excellent quality at a relatively low (for Paris) cost

Internet is not available in the rooms, The cost to use the internet in the lobby, including yoiur own laptop is excessive. Cost for one day was 26 Euros per day: $USD 40.00 a day.

The staff was extremely helpful and spoke English very well. The room was large for European standards. The Metro is steps from the hotel (a quick 15 minute train ride to any of the sites). We will stay there again when we go back to Paris.

We chose this hotel for guaranteed quality and were impressed with the size of the room and the bed which was huge, the hotel is only 5 Metro stops from the Arch de Triumphe = 5 minutes with trains leaving every 2 minutes and well connected with transfers to all main tourist sites.

The outlay of the hotel is, to Paris-standards, very spacious; that holds for rooms as well as lobby and corridors. Breakfast is generous and delicious, partly served, partly self serving. Front desk personnel is very professional, extremely helpful and attentive. We arrived when there was an electricity fall-out, which was impeccably handled by a mass of well-tempered staff and waitors in the lobby. We will come back!

Lækkert hotel, rent og nydeligt værelse. Dejlig morgenbuffet. Beliggenhed lige ved den nye triumfbue og meget tæt på Metroen gør dette hotel meget anbefalelsesværdigt.

Til og med hotellshampoen var av bra kvalitet.

Schönes und modernes Hotel mit guter Anbindung. Die Umgebung ist von den La Defense Bauten geprägt. Zimmer, Frühstück und Angestellte gaben keinerlei Grund für Beanstandungen.
