This is a well maintained hotel in Sorento, Italy. The staff was excellent. The hotel is one of the few in Sorento with a private beach which is very nice. The view from the hotel is amazing. On our second night the hotel upgraded us to a superior sea-side room for free. If you are reserving a room try to request room #215, it is simply the best room in the hotel bar none.

Comentado por Jennifer, deSeattle, el abr 28, 2009
The rooms are beautiful and absolutely huge! The beds are extremely firm, and the tile floor can be cold in the spring when it's not quite as warm as the summer, but the view out the window was absolutely incredible, we took pictures of the sunset, the afternoon light, etc. The hotel is older and could use some help but it looked like renovations were going on so it may improve very soon.

This hotel was my favorite in all my stays in Italy. This was truly a 5 star hotel. The grounds of this hotel are amazing. The entry way leading up to the hotel is filled with plush gardens. The staff was very friendly, spoke great english, and was very knowledgeable about the area when asking quesions. The hotel is right on the cliff overlooking the bay of Naples. Be sure to book an oceanview room, the view is worth spending more than booking the garden view. The rooms are very large. Enormous bed, balcany and bathroom. There are nice lounge chairs in the bedroom. Plus, the bedroom has flat screen tv's that have plenty of English channels. Trust me, that is a huge plus if you're in Italy for awhile. The hotel is not far from the train station or the central part of town. It was actually nice having to walk to town because it was a great way to see the city. The hotel was great, book it :)

This bright and clean hotel is on the water with excellent views. The staff are dedicated to making you happy and the service was 5 star. Only warning, the tile floors (which are a selling point and are beautiful) are extremely noisy and you will not be able to sleep in - the hall ways echo badly. Otherwise this is a wonderful place and I would go back (with ear plugs).

sobre value="10""A contemporary European BLUE hotel"
Comentado por Philip, deTrumbull, el abr 7, 2009
A noisy hotel in a quiet lush garden setting on the cliffs in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel is blue...blue tile, blue walls, blue art pieces and accessories. The tile floors make it very noisy when people are coming and going in the middle of the night. Staff members dismissed our complaints the first night, but not the second or third. Some staff members where very nice and helpful with arranging assistance and directions.

sobre value="10""Beautiful hotel"
Comentado por un huésped de Hotels.com el nov 12, 2008.
The hotel's grounds were magnificent and the staff very helpful. The only negative was the distance into Sorrento. We walked into town often because the hotel's shuttle stopped at 6:30 pm and we didn't want to pay 20 Euros for a cab twice a day. We always felt safe walking to the hotel, even late at night.

it's about a 20 minute walk to town and at night, a 1 mile cab ride costs about 20 euros ($30.00). But it is a lovely hotel and the staff is extremely accomodating.
