Park Inn Cardiff - Cardiff

Nothing special, nothing truely dreadful. Restaurant & bar nothing to get excited about. Just like 100s of hotels around the country. It was the only place left in Cardiff the weekend of our stay due to a concert at the stadium. It's a way out of town but does have a good bus link a short walk away that is a cheap & plenty of taxis-not so cheap

The hotel is a little bit out of the city centre but the price and facilites make up for it. The room was very nice and the pool, sauna, spa-pool and steam room made for a nice start to the day. I didn't eat in the resturant because it looked a bit pricey. Parking in Cardiff is very expensive and the free car park the hotel has was very valuable. However, the taxis do rip you off. I drove into the city before check-in and it took a couple of minutes. When I got a taxi later on that night, they took a different route which took twice as long. I had a debate with the driver but it's hard to argue without the sat-nav! Having said that, that wsn't the hotels fault. Overall, a nice hotel which I'd go back to in the future.

The room was spotless and the bed was massive, very comfortable. Good selection of tv channels, good choice on room service menu. The spa area was pleasant - I didn't try the gym, but used the (very warm) pool, sauna, hot tub and steam room. I didn't visit the town centre but was informed that it's nearby,

My boyfriend and I stayed one night in the Park Inn with friends and from the moment we checked in the servce was wonderful. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help you no matter the time, twinned with clean comfortable rooms and wonderful leisure facilities (pool, sauna, hot tub, steam room...) - it gave the service of a hotel charging three times as much. We will all be staying there on future visits to Cardiff.

Staff very rude, did not honor room preference, had to sleep on floor since other person took the bed. Made a request to staff for something and would deliver long after you needed it or not at all. Otherwise hotel clean, brand new refurbishment which was nice and comfortable. Kind of deceptive also in hotel description while the city and amenities 10 minutes away, nothing near hotel.

It was hard to find. We spent over and hour trying to find it.It became dark and a kind man at a convience store led us there. When we checked in the desk clerk did not tell that there was not a lift to get to our floor. They did not offer to have anyone help with our bags We loaded our bags on a trolley and went up one floor and then found we had to carry our bags up another flight of steps. The lobby needs improvement but the rooms are clean

the room was quite comfortable but the stay was spoiled by the food quality, I had bangers and mash that tasted only of pepper. The breakfast was extortionate at £11 and the bacon and sausages were cold, not good value to say the least
