The mattress was hard and low quality. The AC was turned off on August 26th! The window latch was broken and so the window could not be opened. HOT! Service in the restaurant was slow. Food was reasonable in taste and very high in price. 24 dollars for a hamburger and fries.

This hotel is seriously 3 minutes from the airport - a plus for me because my international flight left at 6AM. The rooms were very well maintained. I noticed this was the only place in Ireland that had air conditioning in the rooms because normally the weather is cool enough for everyone to leave their windows open. A real plus for my boyfriend who needs AC constantly! The restaurant closes at 10PM and there are no vending machines or places around the hotel to grab a snack so that was our only downfall. Didn't hear the airplanes very much either, even though its half a mile from the airport!

Was hoping to be able to check in early since we had flown all night from US. We were told we could check in 2 hours after our 9:00 am arrival. After waiting in the lobby for 3 hours, we gave up and went out to see the city of Dublin. The hotel did store our luggage though while we were sightseeing.

Hotel convienntly located near the airport with good shuttle service. However, the only eating facilities are in the hotel resturant unless you have a car. Menu is pricey and limited even by Ireland standards and food is mediocre. Looking forward to a final special meal before returning home, when we asked to see the wine list we were told they had no wine list just two red and two white house wines to choose from.

Generally okay, but a clock in the room would have been nice. The door stop is in an annoying place on the floor for no apparent reason. Easy, free internet access in lobby and restaurant, but fee required to use in your room. No shop on premises or nearby. For the price, I expected a bit more.

we wanted to stay near the airport as we had to leave on our flights early the next morning. For that purpose the hotel was just right. Good shuttle-service to and from airport (5 min-drive), from the airport a good bus-connection downtown dublin (10 Euros for 2 people with returnticket). The service (once in the hotel) was actually very good. We could NOT hear the airport, had a groundlevel-room.

A very well run, clean, and professional hotel. free wifi in the common areas is definitely nice (many places charge an extra 10 euro per computer). Had some trouble connecting my computer (it was linux, so don't think it was hotel's fault), but they sent a computer specialist who surprised me with his high level of knowledge given that this was a hotel. food at restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced.

Just stayed overnight before catching a plane. The staff were helpful and the hotel was fine. Nothing special but very acceptable for the good deal I got on Expedia. The breakfast is a bit pricey for what's available and in this day an age, they could extend the free wireless from the lobby to the rooms. I'd stay there again if I got a good price.

This was priced a little more than other 'airport' hotels in Dublin but am glad we went there as it's quite new, so the facilities were cleaner and freer of scuffs and scrapes you find in other hotels, plus the design was quite sharp and modern! While we couldn't get in to the fitness center while there, and they had a small glitch with their phone system, we would go back. Our room, despite facing one end of the runway, was much quieter than I thought it'd be. We both slept fine.

The Hotel provides Shuttle Service to the Airport, which is a big plus... the general conditions of the hotel are excellent, it could easily be considered a 5star hotel. Not very convenient if you want to s see the city.. but your best choice if you have an early flight or just want to stay close to the airport.. other hotels that claim to be close to the airport are within 15-20 USD Taxi ride, but this one is really convenient.

This hotel was great. Great location (we were just looking for a place to stay near the airport the night before an early flight), great price, and all around, a really nice hotel. The room was very warm (and not air-conditioned, and the front desk wasn't able to help us much, and the bed was a little springy, which is why I rated the comfort a "3," but the hotel was clean and modern. If you're planning a stay in Dublin, I would not recommend this hotel, but if you're looking for something close to the airport, this place was perfect.

I stayed at the Carlton Hotel at Dublin Airport as I had an early flight the next day, it was very convenient to the airport and the free airport shuttle bus got me to the hotel in 5 minutes. The hotel is very good value for money and about 20 minutes outside Dublin city centre. PS - don't go for the late night room service, the only thing on offer is sandwiches and I'd give them a miss!

You'll definitely get what you pay for at this hotel. The room is spacious, exceedingly comfortable, and state-of-the-art. The hotel offers plenty of amenities that even the pickiest people will find something for themselves. There is also a restaurant on location for those that are too tired to eat out. The hotel is less than 10 minutes drive in the hotel's courtesy coach from the Dublin Airport. Fantastic service. I highly recommend this hotel

This hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Dublin airport, but it is _not_ that convenient, particularly for those who may have some difficulty walking long distances. First, the shuttle pick-up is some distance from the airport and not that easy to find. Second, the shuttle bus is _not_ accessible to disabled passengers. Third, the shuttle returning TO the airport is supposed to take passengers to Departures; but both times I stayed at the Carlton, I had to cajole the driver to take me to Departures, rather than dumping me at the inconvenient pick-up location. There are at least 2 hotels closer to the airport, with more convenient pickup stops. Once you arrive at the Carlton, the front desk staff is helpful and the rooms very comfortable.

Due to an early morning flight, I needed a room near the airport for one night. The room was very comfortable and clean and what I would have expected for the price range. Staff were courteous and helpful. Complimentary shuttle is a bonus. Early morning wake up call came on time. My friends and I enjoyed a meal and a pint at the hotel restaurant. The cab fare was too expensive to go into Dublin for dinner so plan to eat at the hotel. Although you can catch the bus from the airport for much less than a cab ride.

The hotel itself was fine and the Airport shuttle was good. Also if you rent a car from Dooley Rent A Car their return area is next door to the hotel which was excellent when we returned the car. Our one complaint is about the food prices. 30 euros or USD 45.00 was exhorbitant for 2 breakfasts. We should have taken the shuttle to the Airport and eaten there. We know what to do the next time we stay there.

The hotel was great the rooms were huge compared to the ones in Paris, France. The shuttle service was great picked us up at the airport with only a fifteen minute wait, and dropped us off with no problems. The hotel is right next to the Airport, but didn't bother us at all. Their isn't any airconditioning, but that didn't bother us because it was 40 outside. Although a ceiling fan would be nice just to have air flow. The bed was comfortable, but was really two twin beds pushed together. The Bar, is nice, but prices are outrages, and cokes are small. Two 14 cl Coca Colas and one 14 cl water was 15 Euros. The morning Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy. although the white and black pudding were something else. Definitely an aqcuired taste. The ham smelled funny, but tasted good. the eggs were mass produced, so , kinda like MCD's flavor. The staff was very attentive, and willing to help out with any request. We left our luggage at the front desk while we went in to the city after we checked out, to shop before our flight. When we came back we even got the free shuttle service back to the airport. There was easy access in to town using the bus routes. Although you have to be aggressive when riding the bus and know where you're going. There weren't any bus routes maps at the hotel, I would recommend asking the people at the front desk. Our first attempt at riding the bus, didn't work out too well, we didn't know you have to flag the bus down, and damn near step in to the street to get them to stop. What we got from locals in the area of the hotel, ist that bus drivers attitudes are hit or miss. Se got lucky the first time out, and had to take a taxi the second time to the city center because the bus drivers chose not to stop. All and all we enjoyed our stay at the Carlton Dublin Hotel. It's a really nice place to stay with easy access to the airport and surrounding areas.
