Bauer Palladio Hotel & Spa - Venecia

My wife and I stayed at the Bauer Palladio in October and were both enoromously impressed by the hotel. The staff were both professional and unfailingly friendly, the hotel and rooms stylish and very comfortable. There was a good breakfast and plenty for facilities. The shuttle boat service is an excellent feature, running guests to and from the Bauer Palazzo by St Marks Square. It's an electric boat so more environmentally friendly than most diesel launches, and although the ride is a bit choppy, this makes for a very useful service. All, in all, a great place to stay if you can get it for the rates we did, and highly recommended.

Located in the island of giudecca in the Venice lagoon, the hotel is really nice and quiet. The staff was very helpful in evrey aspect. I would stay again in this hotel because is peaceful and it only takes 5 minutes in their free shuttle boat to get to the piazza san marcos and all the places in the san marco, castello area.

Highly recommended. Good and friendly service, and a lovely historical hotel. We enjoyed being outside the hustle and bustle of Venice, and the view looking towards San Marco. It's very easy to get across on the shuttle water taxi. We would go back.

The solar powered boat took us across from Bauer Palazzo Hotel to Bauer Palladio - a great service! The reception staff was extremely helpful and happy to give advise on what to see & do. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated, but a little on the small side. We loved the quiet but yet convenient location of this hotel - it was great to be able to escape the crowds on the San Marco side after a long days sightseeing. I would stay here again , but would have to save up as Venice will drain you of every last Euro!

This unpretentious hotel delivered on all levels for us. The price we paid was great for the refined grandeur of the Palladio. I'm a flight attendant and i stay in many 4* hotels and i can certainly see the difference between them and this 5*. Anything we asked for was provided and the hotel really had a feeling of exclusivity about it (2 doors down from Elton John). We didn't use the restuarant, spa or bar as we were only on a short break and wanted to get into VCE and the lagoon. The breakfast was european in style and the staff attentive. The reception manager and the housekeeping staff were exceptional. The room we had was spotless and spacious. Must less stuffy than the sister hotels over the water in which we felt somewhat uncomfortable.

There is nothing spartan about this convent hotel. The rooms are impressive and the whole experience dicreet and enchanting.

The Palladio is a converted monastery and is just a gem. Newly opened and as yet not too busy, the ENTIRE staff treated us like family or honored guests. The setting is just across the water from the hustle and bustle of the Venice crowds, and offers a very peacful and delightful setting. Our room was large, the bathroom was beautiful, the restaurant had a great chef and manager, and our weekend in Venice was spectacular. The only downtick for business travelers might be the 15 Euro per hour charge for use of the wireless internet.

Wer als Venedig-Reisender trotz der Enge der vielen kleinen Gassen auf großzügiges Platzangebot und Ruhe nicht verzichten möchte, kommt an diesem sehr gepflegten Hotel nicht vorbei, da es auf der kleinen Insel gegenüber von Venedig gelegen diese Vorzüge bietet und das kostenlose Shuttle-Boot jederzeit komfortabel fährt. Kleiner Abzug: Obwohl der Service sehr gut war, schmeckte nicht jedem Mitreisenden das Abendessen entsprechend.

Très bel hôtel sur l'île de la Giudecca, loin des flux touristiques, avec une navette gratuite permettant de rejoindre la zone San Marco en 15 mn. Bon service. DEUX GROS problèmes : les chambres sont TRES TRES MAL INSONORISEES (sauf si vous aimez écouter les conversations des voisins), à moins d'être dans une des suites. Queue au petit-déjeuner de plus de 5 mn pour accéder à la salle à manger, intolérable pour un hôtel de ce standing, même à l'heure de pointe. Difficile d'y retourner dans ces conditions...

conforme en tous points aux descripritfs : personnel tres attentionné et charmant, petits dej copieux et bons, chambres hyper confortables et calmes et un lieux tres...raffiné avec une ambiance de vieux palais. A NE PAS MANQUER, rien a redire !!

Nous avons surtout apprécié la discretion et la qualité du personnel, l'élégance discrète des salles publiques et le grand confort de notre chambre. Le petit déjeuner était déclicieux.

Nous avons passé un week end de rêve à l'hôtel Bauer Palladio, le service fut en tout point pafait, et la navette entre Le Bauer Palace (à quelques mètres de Saint Marc) et le Bauer Palladio (Giudecca) est bien pratique. Le SPA était ouvert, mais nous ne l'avons pas essayé, franchement qui vient pour le spa à Venise ?!

Un havre de paix et de tranquillité, indispensable pour récupérer de la cohue qui regne en ville.

Die einzigartige Lage gegenüber dem Markusplatz und die sehr gelungene Integration des Hotels in die alten Gebäude machen es zu einem kleinen Juwel. Der Shuttleservice per Boot über den Kanal und das gesamte Ambiente des Hotels machen das Besondere aus.
