Spent four nights based here and it could hardly get better. Perfectly placed to explore all main museums and galleries and right beside the Metro (which is easy to work out). No prob recommending it to anyone. Pretty cool place!

Comentado por un huésped de Hotels.com el ago 25, 2009.
The hotel is in a great location and right by Atocha Rail way stop. The service of the hotel lacked greatly since I did not speak Spanish well. They were greatly dismissive of me. The hotel lacked simple amenities in the room, i.e. alarm clock, coffee pot and face towels. I would not go back this is hotel.

Comentado por M, deToronto, Canada, el jul 20, 2009
The hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and since we stayed at the beginning of the week the issue with noise from the disco was not an issue. The vicinity of art galleries and the railway station was important for us and the hotel is close to all of the above. We wanted to take the train for a day trip to Toledo and to take AVE train to continue the vacation in Barcelona. If you plan to take AVE trains, this hotel is the perfect option. The only downside for us was smoking at the lobby are. I guess that in Spain this is quite common problem for non-smokers.

Husa Paseo Del Arte was an outstanding hotel. Our room was tastefully decorated and spacious. The staff was warm and helpful. We were treated to a complimentary snack on the third day by the manager. The hotel was centrally located near all the museums. The Metro station was a block away...

Comentado por un huésped de Hotels.com el jun 21, 2009.
Hotel was very convenient to all three major museums, the Atoche Renfe station where the high speed train departs, and Plaza Santa Ana and even Plaza Mayor (a little more of a walk but you are going to walk anyway in Madrid). The room was large enough for two people to move around in and always well cleaned. We did leave a daily tip for the cleaning staff of about 1.2 euro. Apparently, washclothes are not customarily provided at hotels in Spain. Bring your own sponge. We found a washateria(lavanderia) close to metro station Anton Marin. We got the best price from Hotel.com, better than at the hotel. There are small internet/telephone/fax businesses all over Madrid where you can access these services cheaply. We used them instead of bringing our laptop or telephones. Loved Madrid.

Comentado por J, deSwindon, el jun 19, 2009
The hotel is very well placed for easy visits to most of the major attractions. The nearest Metro point is within easy walking distance for case carrying. The main problem was the cost of the restauran food, however local food shops were available with much reduced prices.

Comentado por Matt, deToronto, el may 19, 2009
Only stayed here one night before taking the AVE train to Seville. This hotel is located just up the street from the Atocha train station and a block from the Atocha subway station. A very good location for arriving/departing by train. It's easy to get around Madrid on the subway also. The hotel room was very modern and clean. Our room looked out onto the street but we didn't experience any problems with noise, etc. The a/c was very powerful. The only complaint I had was the internet. It costs 4 EUR for 30 min, 6 EUR for 1 hour, or 12 EUR for 24 hours. Unfortunately we had two laptops which meant we had to pay twice. We didn't try the breakfast as 19 EUR seemed high when there are plenty of places around the hotel to grab something quick (even a Dunkin Donuts!).

The hotel is located right by the Atocha metro stop. It's within walking distance to all three art museums, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, the Gran Via and Chueca. Just wear comfortable shoes. The bed was a bit hard but the staff more than made up for it. We upgraded to a room with a terrace but as expected in Europe the room was small but the bathroom was huge! I plan on staying there again!

This hotel is within walking distance to everywhere! Also practically across the street from Atocha train station. Room was very well decorated and bathroom was huge! Hotel is next door to very large and loud disco. Even though I requested to be away from it, we weren't. Do stay here, but make sure you're not by this disco!!!

Great location. Beds were large but hard. Nice bathroom and overall decor. Rooms a good size. Very limited room service menu. Desk staff alternatively rude and lovely. It got very noisy late at night around the hotel, so it is a good idea to keep the windows closed, which keeps out the sound very well.

Comentado por P, deEdinburgh, el abr 11, 2008
The hotel has a modern, minimalist feel. The rooms are comfortable and staff efficient and helpful. Beware, however, that rooms at the front face a noisy street and whilst the double glazing can remove some, the traffic noise does get through. The breakfast is excellent, but it does cost nineteen euros. We chose the hotel mainly for the location - it's near the main museums/art galleries and we were not disappointed. We also got a very good rate from Hotels.com.

Would stay there again, although we had to insist on being moved from a room, from the side of the building that faced the disco (having asked for a quiet room) and then again from another offering us a 'smoking room' when we had asked for non-smoking. We were very happy with the 3rd room!
