The staff were a delight - polite and helpful on every level. Rooms are comfortable and relaxing - but very traditional. No arty lamps and wallpaper here, thankfully. Good quality bathrooms. First class English breakfast. Sandwiches in the George bar very disappointing. Ask for room with air conditioning in summer, but in winter it will be very cosy. Well placed - 5 mins walk to Oxford St and 2 mins to Marylebone High Street.

sobre value="10""3 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star"
Comentado por jb, desalt lake city, el sep 24, 2008
i was so disappointed in this hotel that i cancelled a full week reservation and left after the first night. It's all about setting expectations and when you call yourself a four star and charge a healthy sum a customer would hope for better. the service was good but not enough to trump an old room with a boxy 10 inch TV from another decade. i moved to the one aldwych, granted paid 20% more but this was a 4 star hotel that was better than that rating and i thot great bang for your buck.

sobre value="10""Great classic British hotel"
Comentado por Casey, deNJ, el jul 12, 2007
Very nice hotel- Classic British decor Staff was very helpful, excellent location. Within 2 blocks of the great Marylebone neighborhood. Many restuarnats, pubs, shops. Two-three blocks to Bond Street. A few minute walk to Underground. Suggestions- although it had Intrnet access to your laptop- should offer Internet access within hotel for those without a laptop. Also- should include at least a continental breakfast with price.

sobre value="10""Outstanding Service"

The bell staff at this hotel were extremely polite and helpful. Rooms are fairly small, even by Europe standards, but the bathroom was very large and very clean. A nice quiet location in a beautiful residential area, but just a couple blocks' walk to Oxford Street for shopping, Marble Arch and Hyde Park. Lots of good dining within walking distance. Not especially convenient to the tube - you'll have to take a cab to Victoria or Kings Cross train stations. We did not try the restaurant.
