Quality Hotel Rouge et Noir Roma - Roma

Price range was ok, however, neighborhood is scary, customer service very poor, no hot water the whole first day?! extra charges for pool use, electric outlet broken and wires exposed, guests on balcony way too loud, tv channels with poor reception etc... Breakfast was good, and the bus shuttle to downtown was great. 4 stars hotel?! I do not think so.. Would not stay there again.... Sorry.

The hotel was a little shabby, past it's prime, however our room was clean, the AC worked well and the beds were comfortable. The area surrounding the hotel was questionable to our eyes (guard dogs behind safety fences) But to be fair, most of Roma looked questionable to us yet we were told that it is safe. There is a great little restaurant just down the hill (5 min walk), lots of fun.

I'm terribly dissappointed with this hotel. I knew that it was retired from the center, but I thought the shuttle service was free. Instead, we had to pay each single one of the trips. Additionally, we had to pay to use their swimming pool, another reason why we decided to stay at this hotel. Other clients complaint about having to pay for their food, even when having paid for a full package. And that is not the worst. The AC unit didn't work properly and the room was extremely hot during the night. Additionally, on our second night there the electric power was shut dow 4 times, just when we discovered that the telephone was not working... walking down the stairs for 8 floors in the dark to let management know was not an option... STAY AWAY!!

The hotel is clean and with balconies. However, not very easy to access with public transport and it's far away from the city centre.

Considering the price and comfort of the hotel I think it is one of the best value for money offer for quality accomodation in Rome. However the poor locatcion and lack of any nearby public transport makes it a bit of a chellenge to get to centre of Rome if you don't want to spend small fortune for Taxi.

We were shocked that this earned 4 stars. The location is horrible (only redeemed by it's shuttle service), and the staff was less than helpful giving us directions there. We literally wandered for over an hour trying to find it. Electricity was out the first night we were there, so we had to get ready for bed with the hall door open, and with no A/C, we opened the window, and were covered in mosquito bites in the morning. On-site restaurant was pretty poor, and the included breakfast was decent. Would not book this again, nor would recommend it to anyone. Spend a little more, or sacrifice a bit of space or star rating for something better located.

The hotel and rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The location leaves much to be desired as you must take the train or subway and then a city bus to an industrial area to come within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Luckily, the bus driver pointed out the nearest bus stop and then got me in the right direction since it is easy to miss the sign at the property entrance. It is located on top of a steep hill which is nice to avoid street noise, but must be climbed via the driveway to access the hotel. The pool was great during the unseasonably warm weather, but our group was disappointed that it closed at 5PM (contrary to the sign saying it was open until 7PM) since it would have been great to be able to go for a refreshing swim after a day of sightseeing and that climb up the hill. Breakfast buffet was good, but dinner options are limited since there are no eateries within walking distance.

Very clean hotel, thin walls however. It is a little bit out of the city, but the hotel runs a shuttle to and from the center of Rome. It's only a 15 minute ride, so it's not bad at all and about the same price as taking the metro. Staff spoke English well enough to understand and answer most questions we had. As long as you know the hotel is not in the center of Rome and it may be a little noisy, it's a great place to stay.

Wonderful hotel - outdoor patio and indoor bar. Found it difficult to find. Shuttle service to center of Rome was a plus. Could run shuttle more often. Restaurant was very nice for breakfast and dinner.

Hyfsat bra familjehotell, med frukost. Trevlig personal. Fin pool, negativt- man får betala 3 euro per dag för att bada. Frukostbufe´- mycket att välja på, mycket sött! Hotellet har buss till sina gäster, som går 4 turer om dagen till centrum kostar 3 euro. (tur o retur) mycket bra!

Hotellet er griet for en til to netter. Lite serviceinstilt resepsjonister og svært dårlig resturant men frokosten var ok. Det er busstopp like ved til metro, som går til de fleste severdigheter. Det koster penger å bade i hotellets basseng, selv for gjester på hotellet. 3€ pr. pers. så ikke den store summen, og da får man badehanduk og solseng inkl. men for et fire stjerners hotel burde dette vært inkl.

Dårlig frokost, helt begredelig. Bra med shuttel buss inn til Roma.Bør være gratis ligge stoler ved bassenget for hotellets gjester.

thebathroom was crowded, the fridge was not cold a lot of dust under the bed and the breakfast was terrible, but the service was fine, hotel staff are all nice , and the shuttlebuss was comfortable although it was expensive.

Albergo confortevole, pulito e ottimo prezzo

L'albergo si trova in una zona piuttosto infelice a 2 KM dalla metro linea B staz. Pietralata, raggiungibile comnque con il bus 211, ma a mio parere offre un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Detta är ett hotell för ungdomar då hotellet bebos av många runt 20-års åldern. Det är bara 6 km till centrum (spanska trappan) vilket tar 15 min med egen bil. Det finns också en buss som tar dig från hotellet. Servicen på hotellet var antagligen bäst då dom värnade om gästerna hela tiden och höll ett gott humör trots all stress. Skulle välja hotellet igen!

Resepsjonistene smilte ikke, sa aldri hei, og var sure. Ikke noe særlig serviceinnstilte arbeidstakere. Fokosten var grusom. Bare sukker og toast!! og kuversyltetøy! Fysj!

hotel 3/4 stelle non ho ancora capito, grossa struttura tutti gentili, ma ho preso una quadrupla che sarebbe stata piccola anche solo come doppia.

L'hotel è un 3 stelle giustificato, molto comodo a patto che si abbia la macchina per raggiungere la fermata metrò pietralata a circa 3 km. Senza macchina si è rilegati alla navetta dell'hotel. L'albergo merita sicuramente un commento positivo. Camere grandi e ben arredate. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo
