Great spa facilities, large and good choice Hotel is finished to a very high standard throughout. Staff very helpful, English as you can imagine, flawless. Complementary bike hire good, 1 hr to the middle of the tourist area, first part of cycle through Amsterdam Forest. Excellent cycle paths, roadways, facilites throughout the city.

Room was a good size and very comfortable. Very well kept, friendly staff, great breakfast, and stocked mini bar. Not a good location if you want to be close to the heart of amsterdam but great for the airport. There's a free shuttle bus to the airport every 30 minutes.

Booking this room was one of the smartest moves of the trip. They checked us in upon arrival, at 10AM! The hotel is immaculate, the room incredible large (by European standards) and the location is very convenient. Free shuttle from Schiphol, both ways: runs from hotel on the hour and half hour, and from the airport at :15 and :45. Good room service too!

Very modern, very well-kept, very helpful staff. My room was very reasonably priced, though the restaurants were kind of pricey. Not very convenient to downtown, but the free shuttle to the train depot made it easy to get around.

The hotel was excellent in cleanliness ant it looked new. (it is actually new) . The only setback is its location. it is about 10 minutes away from the airport and the hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport every 30 minutes from 6 am to midnight. This is your only means of communication with Amsterdam, as you then need to take the train from the airport to Amsterdam Central train station. (about 15 minutes jouney with a train coming about every 30 minutes). Breakfast is really expensive at 25 Euros per person, but you can have a good breakfast at the Airport which you have to go through to go anywhere in Amsterdam from the hotel.

The hotel was simply excellent, very close from the airport, excellent shuttle service (hotel-airport), which make it very easy to get to central amsterdam (around 20 min) (alternatively they have a shuttle service to central amsterdam). The food was excellent. The rooms were nice and clean. For sure the first option if I come back to amsterdam

Dorint is very clean and everything got done very efficiently when we arrived. Love the free internet. The drop-off and pick-up service from the airport is impressively punctual. I think this is a great location for business travellers who need to stay near the airport. However for tourists wanting to explore central Amsterdam which is a hotel shuttle + 15-min train ride away, the hotel location is less than ideal. One needs to time their visit to central Amsterdam around the shuttle service to the airport which is scheduled once every half hour and overall it takes 45 minutes to get there. I wish we didn't have to spend an hour and a half everyday just to go back and forth. Also, this limits one's ability to make a quick stop by the hotel during the day for any reason. A cab ride is in my opinion too expensive (~50 Euros). If location is not a problem then this is a great place to stay especially for the price.

Very nice comfortable hotel, well located, but breakfast and other pay as you go services are higher than expected, compared to hotel cost.

The breakfast buffet was superb! The free bicylces were an excellent way to see the nearby forest. Very relaxing hotel.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews. Sure enough, the hotel did not disappointed me as well as my husband at all or rather, it exceeded our expectations. We were happily surprised (although we knew from the reviews) by the clean and stylish modern room that is equipped with super-comfortable feather bedding, heated mirrors and floor in the bathroom, and the internet cable (your computer does not have to have wireless.) As another reviewer said, the bath room has got a glass door but there is a thick panel door between the bathroom/hallway area and the bedroom so the view and the noise can be nicely blocked. The shuttle bus to the airport was complimentary. We paid 8.50 euro per night for guest parking, which they said it was weekend rate as of April 09. The 1200W hair dryer in the bath room could actually do the job (I always carry my hair dryer because hotel dryers never really worked before) and found another in the bedroom just before we checked out! We enjoyed the indoor pool, sauna and steamed bath, which is free for guests, and loved SPA massage (paid.) The breakfast was stunning with all the variety and the quality. I never had a glass of champagne in the morning but the experience made me feel so good! Even an complimentary instant coffee in the room tasted so good. I looked forward to come back to this hotel every evening. This hotel pays attention to every details and does not try to make a shortcut. Every hotel staff member was polite and pleasant. We would definitely love to stay this hotel again.

Modern, clean, all the amenities you would want. And free internet.

Beautifully designed in a very contemporary style. Spacious and well equipped and comfortable rooms.

The staff is helpful and friendly. The general standard of the hotel is outstanding. The location is a bit away from everything, and we were happy that we had a rental car with a GPS to get around. Add 20 Euro per day for the hotel parking. We will definitely stay at the Dorint again.

Everything about this place was wonderful! The rooms are spacious and modern with all the amenities, the hotel staff is friendly and accomodating, the bar/restaurant had tasty food and friendly service....if only we could move the hotel to the center of Amsterdam and keep the price as low too! Honestly, the location is the ONLY thing that might make me choose another hotel next time.

Room service let me down with my club sandwich. TV remote wouldnt let me book a wake up call, but the free shuttle bus to the airport was great. Room was large and clean and the hotel was very nice, clean, modern, big and airy.

We needed a hotel close to the airport, and this was a good choice. Very quiet and clean room, great breakfast buffet, and the shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent. The only negatives were the annoying check out charge, and the waiters serving coffee at the buffet breakfast who ignored us.

Great modern hotel, very comfortable "american-sized" hotel rooms. Hotel has shuttle from Schipol Airport. Heated floor & mirrors in bathroom are great in the winter! Staff is very kind and helpful. Free internet cafe. Only one drawback - it is not close to the center of Amsterdam. You need to take shuttle back to airport and then take train into center of Amsterdam for shopping & restaurants. Not bad - but you'll need to allow the extra time in your schedule for transporting back & forth. Would definitely stay again!

This hotel is a little further away from the city center which makes it a little cheaper comparing to other hotels. However, the comfort, cleanliness, services and the conditions are far superior than many hotels. Excellent complimentary breakfast, friendly staff, frequent free shuttle services. Although it is close to the airport, we did not have any problems with noises. Going to the city center can be done in three ways; taxi (which is expensive), shuttle from the hotel to downtown (limited runs) or a shuttle to the airport (free) where you can catch a train to downtown. This last option was the best and adds the fun of the whole adventure. My wife and I had an excellent time, we will go back to Dorint Hotel Amsterdam Airport and most certainly we will recommend it to others.

Exceptionally convenient, courtesy bus to Schipol runs every 15 minutes. Rooms were stunning and comfortable. Only negative was that the Bar Staff was completely disconnected from the the concept of customer service.

The feather bed, heated bathroom floors, coffee/tea pot for hot water in the room - all made for an outstandsing experience. I only wish I could've stayed longer. As it is, I cannot wait to return for another visit. The breakfast buffet was incredible as well.

This hotel was perfect for us because it is close to the airport and we were flying out early in the mornig. it is a great hotel, very clean, nice bar and restaurant. if you want to be near the city center and nightlife, this is not the hotel for you.

I really like the hotel... The only issue really was that upon arriving the Swimming Pool was not open and the spa was only available after 5pm. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel. Not bad gym for a hotel. Lovely Sauna facilities.

The Dorint is conveniently placed for Schipol Airport being 10 minutes by courtesy bus away. The staff were very welcoming and accomodating and the room was up to a good business hotel standard. Conference facilities were excellent as was the food throughout the day. The sport's bar is very lively and has a great atomosphere and does not have any adverse impact on any guests who don't want to use it.

The beds were large and very comfortable (with feather mattresses and comforters), bathroom floors were heated, and the free internet and free shuttle to the airport/train station were fantastic. The glass door on the bathroom might not give much privacy for families, but for couples it's fine. Parking was a little expensive. All the Dorint hotels I've visited in Europe have been great, but this is the best one so far.

Well appointed accommodations. Very nice, very comfortable, very clean. Bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in! Shuttle available to/from airport. Wish they had high B/W wireless Internet service in the rooms. The wired connection was problematic and the staff doesn't know anything about it - IT is managed from Germany. A real issue for business travelers. There is a tendency in Europe to charge very high amounts for Internet as well.

Quiet, Clean, Good worout room. Lacks an economical and convienient shuttle/bus service to Amsterdam center. Add 40 Euro each way for taxi.

It wasx a little quiet for me on a Saturday night, but very clean and a good choice.

Serviceminded, venlig, ung og smilende betjening. Hyggeligt spa-område. Dejligt med 24-timers-bar med udemærket mad til rimelige penge. Alt i alt en positiv oplevelse... Ville ikke betænke mig for at komme igen.

Jeg og min samboer sjekket inn på Hotel Dorint fredag den 24 juli og møtte et fabelakti hotel som stilte mer en nok til forventingene våre. Nå var vi ikke så mye på hotelet men for det meste i amsterdam sentrum. Og komme seg frem og til bake var lett som en lek. Gratis buss til og fra flyplass som gikk hele dagen frem til 23.45. Og togene videre til Amsterdam gikk også hele tiden. Selve hotelet var rensligt, avslappende og med en flott betjening som var veldig smilende og service instilte. Vi trivdes så godt at vi tok og booket oss en ekstra natt for å benytte oss av hoteles tilbud. Svømmebasenget og de ulike rommene for stimebath, sanarium etc var himmelsk og veldig avslappende og bra for kropp og sjel etter noen travle dager i amsterdam sentrum hvor vi gikk og gikk og gikk enda litt til. Vi bestile oss en deilig masasje som ble utført av en veldig behagelig kvinne som viste hva hun drev med. Maten var også fabelaktig på hotellet. En sikkelig flott opplevelse hadde vi, og kommer nok til å reise tilbake en gang senere.

Høy stander på rom, svært behjelpelig resepsjon, alt fra reiseruter til vekkeklokke på Tven. Ypperlig treningrom med det man trenger. Bar ved et passe stort basseng, Gratisbuss fra-og-fra flyplassen

Rent och snyggt med bra kommunikationer

Hotellet ligger lidt væk fra centrum, men med en god GPS, er alt alligevel "tæt på". Hotellet lever helt sikkert op til sine stjerner. Moderne værelser, lobby, parkeringsforhold - i kælderen.
