The hotel is no five star by any means, but my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was. We had only spent one night before our early departure in the morning, so the convenient location to the airport was ideal for us. They have a shuttle that runs on every half hour. The rooms were a lot nicer than we had anticipated and very clean. The bar staff was extremely pleasant, and our only problem with The Hilton Inn was the Concierge staff's urgency level. They were very nice, but the line to check in was unbearably long. I guess that is Europe for you though. We are used to being a bit faster in the states.?

We had low expectations when booking this airport hotel, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The decor is very modern, cookies ready upon arrival, hotel is spotless, staff was friendly, beds/lines are very comfortable, shower has great pressure. The restaurant was good but a little pricy - there's no where else to eat close by so you're stuck eating there. There was not one thing to complain about. Highly recommend it.

We typically stay at an airport hotel on the last night of our vacation. The Hilton Garden Inn Rome was the perfect accomodation after a jam-packed two-weeks in Italy. Our room was ready and the staff was polite and efficient. The room was clean, the bathtub a welcome sight and the comfort bed a delight. The dining fare was fine, but the breakfast buffet was wonderful. Even the tea was tasty. The hotel staff seems to cater to business travelers and when one needs to catch a plane, it is all business. Our bill was ready and the hotel shuttle was on time. We'd book again.

Hotel was very close to the airport. We took the train to go to The Colisieum and The Vatican. The hotel shuttle goes directly to the airport to catch the train. The hotel was very modern and clean. The staff was ok. Some people were very nice and others were mediocre. Overall is was a great buy and I would recommend this hotel,

The Hilton Garden Inn in Rome is functional but offers the lowest common denominator service you can imagine. Hilton in name perhaps, but really Novotel or Travel Lodge in all other senses and therefore very overpriced for what is offers. We arrived after a long car journey to find that the only food available was plastic food to be heated in a microwave. There was no room service and no porter to help with bags. The room was clean but offered the absolute minimum of comfort. Stay here if you need a bed. Avoid at all costs if you want anything more than that. Staying there will certainly make me think twice and do a lot more research if I am every to stay in a Hilton again.

While the room cost was comparatively high, the convenience, free computer access and quality of staff service made the choice worth it. The hotel is spacious, very clean and has a restaurant/food area. We stayed only one night in preparation for our trip back to the U.S. The only thing that we would do differently would be to understand better the pick up point for the hotel's shuttle from the airport. The hotel has a self laundry area but the cost is a little steep i.e. $7.50 per wash and $7.50 per dry in small machines.

Everything you'd expect from a Hilton but you will choose it for proximity to the airport alone. Trip into Rome centre involves free shuttle bus back to airport; €11 single ticket on train into Rome Termini taking approx 30 minutes. Last train back 22.52 but last shuttle bus back to hotel 22.30!!

This is a wonderful hotel for having a delicious dinner and a very deep sleep before flying out of Fiumicino Airport. Although the hotel is located on the deserted end of the airport, there is a free shuttle which runs every 15 minutes or so to the airport and its sister hotel which is much closer to the terminal. You can also schedule a shuttle pickup time if you have an early flight (shuttle starts at 4 AM). My brother and I stayed there at the end of our 2 week trip to Italy, and I must say our best dinner of the entire trip was at the hotel. The food was a bit pricey, but worth every penny (or Eurocent).

We spent nine nights in four different hotels throughout Italy. We spent our last night at the Hilton Garden Inn mainly because it was very close to the airport and they had a free shuttle. Check in was a breeze. The front desk personnel were very friendly and had answers to all of our questions. Our room was very clean and had a lot more room then our other hotels we had just stayed in. Internet was free whether you used their complimentary computers or had your own wi-fi. The only cautions I would throw out would be that there is really nothing around the hotel to do or go to for meals or entertainment. You would have to take a cab. Also, the shuttle did not pick up where all of the others did. Our directions were to wait at Pylon B. We figured out that Pylon B was Terminal B and the shuttle picked up right where all of the regular cars picked up and dropped people off. Great hotel.

We loved this hotel! This was our final hotel before leaving Italy, and it was a great way to end our vacation. The service was outstanding, the rooms were superb--spacious, clean, well appointed, and welcoming. The entire hotel was spotless. The hotel shuttle provided wonderful service for us. The buffet breakfast was the best that we encountered anywhere during our vacation in Italy. We would certainly use this hotel again, and recommend it for any length stay.

This is strictly a hotel for those who need ready access to Fiumicino, say, to catch an early morning flight. The one big gripe I have is that info on the hotel does not clearly point out that this is NOT the Hilton Rome Airport hotel. My wife and I laboriously followed the signs in the airport to this last, only to find out that the Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport is a completely different hotel, a short cab or shuttle bus ride away. Still, we were greeted cordially when we finally arrive there, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast the next day was very, very good.

The Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport is perfect if you need a hotel close to the airport. They have very good suttle service. We asked for a wake up call for a 6:15 a.m. flight, luckily we woke up on our own because we did not get a wake up call. The hotel was expremely clean and the service was very good. The food was expensive and not very good. The price was good from your web site. There is nothing near the hotel and taxis are expensive, so you are stuck if you are at this hotel.

Stayed here as last night of 2 week vacation across Italy. Wanted to be close to airport for early morning flight. Hotel was great, warm comfortable and great bath. Food in restraunt was too expensive. Bus in morning was timely. Breakfast which was included in my rate was wonderful, full American/British/Italian breakfast buffet.Coffee was great. I found it offensive that I had to pay for 2 hours of parking in a hotel which was not cheap. Parking should have been free...for 2 hours of parking I paid 7 euros that is about $10.50 American. I had a rental car which I parked to empty and clean before returning to the airport, 2 hours. Also in taking the shuttle bus back after returning the car I had great difficulty finding it and after 45 minutes in the rain only accidentally caught the shuttle as it was driving by. Needs to be better marked, no one in the area or airport knew where the pickup spot was.

Even though there is a walkway from the FCO airport to this hotel, it is a LONG walk there, especially if you're toting luggage. The restaurant was very expensive and the food was not up to Hilton standards. A small bottle of Sprite was 5 Euros (about $7.50 US at that time). The only reason I would ever stay at this hotel again is because of its proximity to the airport.

We were changed from this hotel to the Hilton Rome Airport because of maintenance, so this is a review of that Hilton and not the Garden Inn. The food at the Airport Hilton is EXPENSIVE!! Five Euros for a very small bottle of Sprite and the food was not very good. The internet was 3.5 euros for 15 minutes. It probably would have been cheaper to eat at the airport and then go to the hotel room. It is at least a 15 minute walk from the airport to the hotel and when you're carrying luggage and you're tired, this can be exhausting, The best thing about this hotel IS its proximity to both the airport AND the train station, though. They only have one or two English speaking TV channels and they are both BBC News channels, which repeat the same programming all day long. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were smashed flat.

We had initially intended to stay only one night on arrival in Rome but based on the quality and convenience of the hotel and location we spent two additional nights prior to our departure. The staff was particularly courteous and helpful. Our only complaint was that it was not clear as to what constituted the continental breakfast and what constituted the full breakfast as both were part of the same buffet and that the cost of the full breakfast seemed excessive at 18 Euros per person or approximately $23.

We had been travelling around Italy for 2 weeks staying with friends or b&b's. I try to always stay near an airport the night before my departure (anywhere). Even though there were a couple of not so pleasant reviews I decided to stay here becasue of its location and it was the best airport hotel I;ve ever stayed at. The staff was amazing, the beds and pillows were out of this world. Free internet, great water pressure in the shower, fluffy towels, delicious food, immaculate hotel... I don't get how anyone could ever NOT be 100% satified with the HG Garden Inn at the Rome airport.

After arriving in Rome exhausted at 11.30pm the Hilton Garden was the perfect place to stay. A free mini-bus took us from the terminal to the front door, check-in was quick and efficient with friendly staff. The bar, which was open til midnight was well stocked and the perfect place to wind down. There is also a twenty-four hour shop where you can buy anything you need, including toiletries, drinks and snacks (which can be heated in microwaves rooms when required). The room was spotless and featured an easy to use alarm radio complete with an impressive selection of pre-programmed stations. We could not have found a better hotel to stay in for the first night of our honeymoon and will definitely be staying there again next time we fly into/out of Rome. Top marks

The greatest aspect of this hotel is its closeness to the airport in Rome. We had an overnight layover between flights, so staying at this hotel was exceedingly convenient because we were able to stay so close to the airport. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport, and because of its proximity, we lost no precious time traveling back and forth. More food options would have made this location perfect, but we highly recommend that travelers stay here.

This hotel is isolated and very difficult to get to and from. We also requested a wake up call on the morning of our flight, the call never came. When told, the hotel reception said they knew about the problem from other guests, the system was not working. Just great, I guess they couldn't make manual calls to their guests. THEY DIDN"T CARE.
