Hotel Paris Liege - París

This is really good value and I think a very good standard. Our twin room was spacey, had a lovely window overlooking the street (double glazed- when closed hardly any street noise), had free Air con, free wifi and a clean and new bathroom. Check out the tiny old lift though! That adds a bit of character! And it is a stones throw form the station and metro... the RER B is a very fast ride into central Paris. Also the area are many cafes and restaurants all around it, open pretty late. Would use it again!

I don't have the strength to write yet another crappy Gare Du Nord Hotel review. However, it is really a pity that an overpriced area such as the Nord is flooding with sub-par low budget services that cost double anywhere else.

Room very basic. Sheets clean but carpet and decor in need of replacement. Dirty corners in shower room, which had no plug in basin and only one small shampoo sachet for two people. Staff very pleasnt though and conveniently placed near Gare du Nord. Just squeezed two of us with small cases into lift.

It was what we expected for the price, it was a small room, it had a balcony/double window. Although, with the price comes the clientel. We had some teenagers that stayed up giggling until 5:30am. But when i called reception the gentleman came up and sorted them out. It could be really nice if they put the finishing touches on the place. Great if you dont want to travel with luggage from gare de nord.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Great central location for people who only have a weekend to see Paris (Gare de Nord right next to the hotel with lots of RER and metro lines). Nice area where hotel is with a few nice restaurants. Little box of chocolates in our room when we arrrived. Breakfast was a crossaint, baguette, orange juice and tea coffee or hot chocolate. More than enough to keep you going until lunch. Only problem is our bathroom door wouldn't shut properly but they were very helpful. Would definately recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This Hotel is literally down the street from the front of the Gare du Nord on the north side of Paris. It's half a block from a Metro station with direct lines to some of the biggest tourist sites: Notre Dame, Eiffel Tour, Louvres, Musee D'Orsay, etc. The staff are multi-lingual, so you don't need to speak French if you don't know it; however, it is France, so knowing some French is always helpful. The room was small, but warm and clean. Don't expect a view of the city. This hotel is comfortable and not meant for those expecting grandiose views of the city. The staff were friendly; depending on who was there, one staff member might be coldly aloof but polite while the evening staff member was quiet but liked to laugh. Tip: don't ask where the laundry mat is because they aren't in the area. You will instead be directed to a dry cleaners. If you need to wash your laundry, hand wash it and hang it to dry over the lamp shades with the lamp on. The bulbs are incandescent and will dry the laundry very fast. There are several fantastic restraurants near the hotel as well as some small stores to buy drinks or snacks. There is also an ATM inside the Gare du Nord for those worried about security getting cash. Overall, great experience and I recommend this hotel to others.

I can lay my head down just about anywhere and am aware of the small room sizes in Europe, but this was a challenge. My friend and I stayed here on the 6th floor with a very tiny lift to get us up there, the lift holds only 1 person with a suitcase and you must climb about 15 spiral steps to get to that lift. It was difficult with our heavy cases. The worst part was the shower, it just did not drain. We had to turn the water on and off...soap and rinse, and still the shower overflowed onto the floor and out of the door. The girls in the next room were having the same problem, there was shower water everywhere! We complained at the desk but they acted as if that were normal and did nothing about it. Also the lift was broken for a while so we had to climb 6 narrow spiral flights. We laughed our way through the 4 nights since we spent very little time in that room..it was cheap for Paris. I will say that the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you have the slightest health issue or handicap. It was however, right across the street from the Gare du Nord which made it very convenient. Breakfast was supposed to be included but wasn't, so be sure it is clearly stated on your receipt. Spend a few extra dollars for a better hotel, there are several in that area.

The hotel was very easy to find from Gare du Nord and would suit anyone wanting basic accommodation while passing through Paris. If staying in Paris for an extended break in future I would consider staying somewhere more pleasant and now that I know the Paris transport system better. The hotel was adequate as a place to sleep although I was surprised that the noise from the reception area was audible from inside my room on the first level up. The TV had power but there were no channels available to view! Breakfast was very basic (coffee and croissant) but fair enough considering the discounted room rate. There was no problem with room and ensuite cleanliness but things looked a bit worn and dated. Bed linen was ok but not 5 star. Reception staff were friendly, most helpful and spoke English.

Allocated room 633 on the 6th floor. LIft broken - which appears to be a common feature at this hotel. Room not clean - cleaners probably not willing to lug hoovers up 6 floors! Shower too small, and wallpaper hanging off wall. Cheap and nasty, I'm afraid. Spend more and go elsewhere,,,,

did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. elevator did not work during the entire stay and walking 5 flights of stairs after walking paris is not a good feeling. tv only had 2 functioning channels and the worst part... the shower! you take a shower and water leaks into the bathroom and all over your room floor!!! you could possibly flood your own room!! its was just a badly designed shower. the only good thing about this place is the location. but there are other hotels in that area.

This hotel is relatively inexpensive by Paris standards, but is also in need of a bit of maintenance. Having said that, it is a short walk from Gare de Nord, has plenty of places nearby to get food, and is one block away from the OpenTour bus stop.

I caught the maid putting the clean sheets on the floor around her bare feet. The shower was so small that every time I turned, the water turned off. The shower leaked all over the floor. Cigarette smoke seeped in from everywhere.

I stayed two nights, and will never do it again. Very disappointing. The hotel is dirty, the carpet stained (really dirty). The bed sheets and bathroom were not clean. The room smells like cigarettes. There was no towel or soap, and no warm water after 8:30 in the morning. I slept with my clothes on, and I had to take a cold shower in the morning. When I complained (I speak French), the guy acted like it was normal, I should get up earlier for warm water. I guess there are many bad hotels in Paris, but this one doesn't even deserve a single star. Avoid at all costs, unless sleeping under the bridge is your only other option.

The Paris Liege is a great location especially for those visiting Paris for a first time, which was our case. The hotel isl iterally just outside the front door of the Gare du Nord train stattion which is a hub for all Paris mass transit. We arrived to the hotel at 1000.We did NOT expect our rooms to be ready for an early check in. The weekend desk cleck was very friendly and made every effort to store our bags and to get us "jet lagged" travelers into our room . Unfortunately room 103 has un-level floors. I had no sense that the head of the bed was slanted lower than the foot of the bed.This resulted in waking up feeling dizzy which lasted for several hours. Once the problem was discovered and reported ot the desk ,they brought a new mattress for the bed.This did not fix the problem. We were able to raise the head of the bed by stuffing a blanket under the mattress, a temporary but effective soultion. Even given this experience. I would stay again at this hotel and reccomend it to friends who want a convienent, affordable hotel.

I had to wait one hour and a half for my room to be maid up, after 2pm. I would only recommend this hotel for an overnight stay , maybe two, and the location. It's right across the street from the train station. The area looks rough, heard screaming on the street at about 7am sunday for over an hour.

Not the greatest place in the world, but the room was clean and close to the train station. Recommend for people staying and taking an early train out of the city.

I was a bit worried about founding a hotel in Paris but this one was great. Very clean, great location (less than 1 block from the Metro). The air conditioner actually Works!!! Private bathroom, and it has an elevator (very small). I would definately stay there again.

A great location, just off a side street from Gare du Nord. Only real complaint was the bathroom...the shower to be exact. It's basically a corner of the bathroom with a shower curtain that goes around a slight lip on the floor. It's tiny and you have to be quite careful to avoid getting water everywhere. The previous guests weren't, resulting in a huge puddle of water leaking out into the hotel room when we arrived. Management was very apologetic though.

Room was much smaller than expected.

Als je goedkoop wil verblijven vlakbij le Gare du Nord, het station waar je tgv vanuit Brussel aankomt, is dit een handig hotelletje. De kamers zijn rustig (wij hadden een kamer aan de achterzijde, er was geen lawaai van verkeer) en verzorgd, de matrassen waren van goede kwaliteit. De ensuite-badkamer had geen verluchting, dus na een douche moesten we wel de deur openzetten. De kamer had een regelbare airco, wat heel handig was (buiten was het 33°, en hoewel onze kamer op de bovenste verdieping lag, bleef het daar 19°). Toen wij in Parijs aankwamen was het nog te vroeg om in te checken, en toen wij uitcheckten was het nog te vroeg om al de trein terug te nemen, maar we konden onze bagage zonder problemen in het hotel achterlaten. Tot slot iets over het ontbijt: er is geen gelagzaal, dus het ontbijt wordt genomen in een ruimte vlakbij de balie, maar de koffie en de croissants waren lekker en vers, en als je wil kun je gemakkelijk contact leggen met andere gasten. Kortom: geen grote luxe, maar zeer geschikt voor een bescheiden budget.

Un hotel utilitaire ni charmant ni desagréable. petit bémol, l'ascenseur était en panne, dur dur pour les valises au 4e étage...

L'acceuille et tres agreable des personnes souriante dans cette hotels et toujours possible de poser des questions. Mais la seule chose qui choque dans cette hotels ce sont les chambre et les salle de bains. Ca serai bien de renover un peu ces choses qui sont casser....Mais l acceuille Hyper bien. Je vous en remercie beaucoup...

Für einen Kurztrip und für Paris ganz OK, da zentral gelegen ist es dementsprechend laut. Dafür das das Hotel und die Zimmer eine Klimaanlage.

Hissen var så liten att väskan inte fick plats. Väskan fastnade och jag stod fastlåst en kvart. Receptionen gav mig fel instruktion till en restaurang i dess närhet så att jag gick år fel håll och försenades en kvart.

The hotel is clean, but the rooms are small and not very comfortable equiped. I am offen in Paris on bussines trip, so I can compare with other hotels, this hotel is a typical Paris two star hotel, not better and not worse than the other ones.

Dit hotel ligt op kruipafstand van Gard du Nord. Het is dus een kwestie van koffers wegzetten en vijf minuten later ben je op pad in Parijs. Het hotel is redelijk oud en sober, maar niet vies. Aardig personeel.

Petit hôtel à 30 sec de la garde du Nord ce qui est son principal avantage. L'isolation entre les chambres est minime. demandé une chambre côté cour c'est mieux. Buffet pt dej très limité (café, 1 croissant, 1 pain + conf et beurre et 1 jus de fruit)

La chambre est petite sans être exiguë, les meubles sont récents, la literie excellente. Seul petit bémol : l'armoire ne comporte que de la penderie, sans étagère, ce qui n'est guère pratique pour le rangement. Excellent accueil, personnel très convivial. Le petit déjeuner est bon, mais pas très copieux. Le quartier est animé, avec beaucoup de restaurants.

Pas d'eau chaude 1 jour sur 2, connexion internet défaillante, personnel pas méchant mais foutiste !

L'hotel est bien situé à qq mêtres de la gare du Nord, la chambre était propre mais un peu bruyante à cause de la clim.

God hotel, meget centralt placeret nær tog station. Dog uden privat parkerings plads til bilen. En del trafikstøj fra gaden, men et godt hotel

Liggin lekker dicht bij het Noordstation vn Parijs, aan een toch vrij rustige straat. Kwaliteit matig tot redelijk. Het is alleen te hopen dat er nooit brand uitbreekt want dan ben je de klos; dit geldt echter voor veel oudere hotels in Parijs.

acceuil sympa chambre petite, glauque et très bruyante. Porte très mince, escalier juste à côté, les gens le dévalent PDJ bof: salle petite, étriquée, service pas agréable, pas de buffet mais bon très proche gare du nord et abordable pour Paris

Eccellente per i trasporti...pulito, cordiali e disponibili...perfetto per una vacanza da turisti che macinano chilometri e vogliono godersi Parigi!
