Courtyard by Marriott Santa Clarita Valencia - Valencia

Lovely property, super helpful staff, we arriced at 3 am and everything around there was closed, they had a mini market with soups, salads, drinks and fruit which helped with our hunger!

The hotel was awesome. They even allowed us to stay after we checked out and hang out at the pool and have coffee.

My family was only staying in the hotel for 1-night which was more than enough. The hotel no longer offers room service which we weren’t informed had changed prior to our stay. We had a group of 18-22 year olds drinking and having a good time in the room next to us, I didn't have a problem with this but the walls are so thin I could hear everything they were saying. Anytime people entered their rooms in the hallway you could hear the door slam behind them, then at like 5 in the morning it sounded like someone was doing maintenance in the halls. Also the mattresses we very uncomfortable, mine squeaked anytime I moved. My kids slept on a pullout sofa, the mattress was really thin and looked like it was about 20 years old I’m pretty sure it was a “hand me down” from one of their older hotels that was renovated. The hotel appearance was nice, and clean but basic. The staff were helpful and nice but there weren’t many of them, when we arrived there was a be back in 5 minute sign on the counter. After driving for 10 hr the last thing I wanted to do was wait in the lobby for 5 min.. About 1 exit down from this hotel is a Hilton Garden Inn, I’ve stayed here before and its much better and priced about the same!! Next time I go to Valencia I wont be staying at the Courtyard by Marriott.

Very nice clean rooms, quiet and spacious WAYYYYY better than the same companies hotel in San Diego. Excellant staff. I reccommend this hotel to anyone going to six flags or vactioning in Valencia.

The hotel had everything I was looking for. It was very close to Six Flags Magic Mountain, the pool was the perfect temperature and the room was outstanding. The bed was by far the most comfortable hotel bed that I have slept on. They gave enough pillows and the room had a cozy feeling to it. The breakfast buffett was simple yet very good and a reasonable price. Not only did it have an omlet bar/eggs to order, you could make your own waffles. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

For the price and location it could not be beat

I enjoyed my stay there very much. I was there with my kids and everyone had a great time in the pool. Everything in the room was very convenient and we used all the amenites. From O.C.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. We found the accomodations to be very nice for the price. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had one complaint though which is the noise from the highway was very loud. Our room also faced the pool which was very noisy till about 10:00pm every night. We couldn't leave our window open because we couldn't hear the tv above the pool noise and the highway traffic. Other than that, we would recommend this hotel.

This was a very comfortable and clean place to stay. We stayed four nights, in a courtyard side room. The view was beautiful, overlooking the pool. We are light sleepers but slept great here. We were amazed at how quiet our room was considering how close the hotel is to the freeway. We also lucked out with no adjoining guest rooms to either side. The bed and linens were very comfortable. We asked the maids for fresh sheets for our four-year old whose ear bled during the night and they promptly and graciously made up the room. This was in addition to regular daily maid service. The walk-in shower was great, although for younger kids might pose a problem if they need a bathtub. The convenience of a microwave and refrigerator was great. We also made use of the free in-room wifi and lobby computer and printer area, for personal work and airline boarding passes. We had breakfast in the cafe restaurant one morning and that was very nice. Staff and waiters were very courteous and quick to help us. We enjoyed the pool a lot also, although when we went down on the first afternoon it hadn't been well cleaned and needed to be swept out. The next time it was perfect. They even put out guest swimming towels on the lounge chairs. Overall, this hotel had the feel of a much more expensive resort, rather than a chain hotel. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

Receptionist was friendly. Near the highway so it was noisy at the pool. The pool was dirty the first day I went in. It was a little cleaner the next two days. The shower had a glass door that you had to reach way around to turn on the water and get to temperature. Quite an awkward arrangement. The shower floor was very slippery. They should have provided a rubber mat. They charged for breakfast. I've stayed in less expensive chains that provided free breakfast almost equivalent.

Staying here was right smack in the middle of our destinations. Perfect! Everyone was friendly and the hotel was very clean.

The hotel had a great staff! It was very modern with a flat panel T.V. Everything was better than we expected. I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms and bathrooms are simple and well appointed. The linens were fresh and clean. Very comfortable beds. Restaurant could be better - we had breakfast and there were few nutritious choices. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Best night sleep ever! Stayed there one night after a long day at Magic Mountain, people were great and very friendly. Had fresh cookies ALL OVER the hotel!! Will stay there again and again!!

We stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights and really loved it. The hotel is relatively new. It is nicely appointed and very, very clean. Nice size room and bathroom, great shower, comfortable beds, big TV, free wireless. Excellent staff -- very knowledgeable and helpful. Only complaint: no Disney or Food Network on the TV. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great front desk service. Balcony overlooking the pool and the adjacent hills. Very nice. Good room for the money.

Our family went on a trip and i must say that our stay was soo great that we stayed another night!! The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff was friendly and super helpful. We will be staying at this hotel from now on, even if the drive is a bit long from our destination!!

staff was pleasant.magic mountain was very close.spa was not working, so it was a disappointment considering that was what we were looking forward to.i was also disappointed because i was told by hotel.com that i had free continental breakfast but that wasnt the case.when i called to complain was not completely resolved.overall disappointed with hotel.com and mild about the courtyard.

great price, great hotel, no complaints

There was only one problem which was a major incovenience, room service hours. We wanted lunch and they were closed. We wanted dinner, they closed at 10 on sat night. We wanted a few beers sent to our room, they couldn't do that either. The Marriott hotel stores usually have beer and wine for sale along with food etc. And they didn't have it there either. I did see salads earlier in the day but not when we needed it. We ended up ordering pizza which took 1 1/2 hours so my son was up falling asleep before he got to eat. The room was perfect, the service was helpful in finding an alternative to room service and all the staff were very helpful and friendly!

We stayed here the night before going to Magic Mountain. The hotel was super clean and the furnishings were nice and updated. Our beds were comfortable and teh room had many amenities other area hotels don't offer (like a microwave.)

The location isn't within walking distance of much, but it is close to the highway and allows low-traffic access to Valencia. The views were great, the accomodations were well thought out, breakfast was decent (except for beverages, which were by request only ... even water), the pool was heated. Similar to other nice hotels in the area, but generally at a lower rate.

Very convenient to nearby attraction.

I would recommend it to anyone. This is absolutely where I will be whenever I am in Southern Ca. and I travel alot.

The staff met every expectation and then exceeded them 10 fold! It was absolutely the best, most friendly staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting... And I have stayed at the Montage Hotel!

FIRST THE HOTEL IS NOT IN SANTA CLARITA, ITS CLOSE BUT ON THE OUT SIDE OF TOWN IN NO WHERE LAND, 6 MILES FROM M-MOUNTIN 8 MILES FROM CAL-ARTS, THE STAFF WHERE GREAT THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD FOR HOTEL FOOD, THE BAR TENDER AS YOUNG AS HE IS WAS ON TOP OF HIS GAME IN THE MIXING OF DRINKS, A VEARY GOOD KID WELL MANNERED! THE BREAKFAST IS TO HIGH IN COST BUT WELL STAFFED.. IF ALL THE CLOSER HOTELS WERE BOOKED ID GO BACK THERE, ITS JUST TO FAR AWAY FROM THE TOP SPOTS IN SANTA CLARITA.

This hotel seemed like it was brand new. Every inch of it was clean, from the lobby to the ive vending room. The rooms were large, comfortable and the furnishings were beautiful. Paid $40 more a night at a hotel in San Diego for three nights before this hotel and it wasn't anywhere near as nice. We will stop again on our next trip.
