Arcotel Rubin - Hamburgo

What a wonderful and modern hotel! The staff was very friendly and even showed us to our rooms. There were complimentary apples in the room placed in a holder that stated have a nice day/stay :) The Crystal Bar on the second floor has a great feel to it, but my favorite part was the sauna on the 7th floor. It had great views of the city! There are 2 dry saunas, one steam room and a series of fabulous showers with different purposes- all for free! There is a grocery store on the corner and the main train station is only a couple of blocks away. There are a couple of gay clubs and 'shops' in the area, but nothing that gets in the way of your stay if that's not what you're into. Overall, a fabulous hotel!!!!

This hotel is very clean and very comfortable, never heard any noise at night time, good location right near to the U-bahn, Behind the hotel are lots of bars and resturants. If i went back to Hamburg i would stay in this hotel again.

Excellent hotel. Only negative was it's location on a rather seedy street of sex shops etc. However, was a very comfortable stay, and great value for money.

For the price, you can't beat this hotel! The first thing I noticed (and it was reinforced later) is that the hotel staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are not huge, and the red decor is not to my personal taste. They are, however, new, clean, convenient, and modern. The hotel is not located in one of the more picturesque pockets of Hamburg (a bit seedy, actually), but nicer areas are only a couple of blocks away--as is the Alster Lake--and the main train station is a 10 minute walk, too. Arcotel is also conveniently located within a block of the main gay neighborhood, St. Georg, with lots of restaurants, bars, and stores (if you care). ONE CAVEAT: The air conditioner was extrememly weak and the room was too warm on the summer night I stayed there. This being Hamburg, however, that is rarely a problem!

We arrived at the Hotel at 1.00 a.m. very flustered & tired after a delayed flight, to be greeted with a smile at reception followed by a very speedy check-in, much appreciated. The room was a pleasant surprise, well-appointed and clean with comfortable beds. The positioning is excellent, just a few minutes walk away from the Hauptbahnhoff and the Bus Station and within easy reach of The Alster. The Rathaus and all the attractions we found within walking distance although for the less hardy the taxis are abundant. The Bars and restauraunt were pleasant and well-appointed with helpful staff. The approach to the Hotel may not be the most celubrious in the City but the Hotel itself and the immediate surroundings, with a variety of Bars and restauraunts within easy reach, make for an extremely enjoyable stay. All in all, highly recommended.

Efficient booking in with a porter available immediately to take us to the room and on the way point out the main facilities in the hotel.Room spasious and very comfortable,separate bathroom and toilet,clean cut design and quiet.Superb breakfast sufficient to keep you going all day particularly if you take it late,it's open to 1130. Would definitely consider Arcotels again

The Arcotel Rubin was a lovely surprise - sleek and chic, but comfortable inside, around the corner from a row of nice restaurants and coffeehouses, and a short walk to Hamburg's main train station. It sits opposite a police station on one corner and a big grocery store on another. It is on a road lined with Turkish restaurants and stores, plus a few dodgy shops - though that stayed indoors, not spilling out onto the street as it does on the Reeperbahn. Staff were very helpful and helped make our stay feel like we were at a four-star place. That included locating tickets for an event, giving good directions, and keeping track of our luggage during one jaunt to Berlin. Overall, a great getaway!

This hotel had the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. It was a truly excellent hotel - friendly and efficient staff, very clean, modern facilities, quiet rooms, and, as I said, quite literally the best beds I've ever slept in. Highly recommended.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, inrichting van deze tijd, goed ontbijt, schoon en eigen parkeergarage.

Værelset var ok, men der var larm fra udrykningerne fra politistation der lå lige ved hotellet. Morgenmaden var kaos, vi måtte stå i kø for at få en siddeplads og der var ingen oprydning eller servering af kaffe. Ved afrejse var der fejl i vores regning og med næsten 1000,- ekstra oveni for to gange morgenmad til to personer samt parkering var det overhovedet ikke pengene værd.

Hotellet har en super beliggenhed. Gåafstand til flere serværdigheder og Hauptbahnhof. Gode spisesteder i nabolaget. De har en fantastisk service. Værelsesstandarten er i top. Ville afgjort vælge dette hotel igen.

Mooi hotel, maar de omgeving laat te wensen over. Om in het centrum te komen moet je door een hoerenbuurt heen: niet echt gezellig/prettig, met name 's avonds niet aan te raden.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, die Tiefgarage ist recht eng, bietet jedoch gute Parkmöglichkeiten für die Lage! Von dort ist man schnell in der Innenstadt.

Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sher gemütlich eingerichtet und vor allem die Betten sind sehr bequem. Auf den Zimmerservice und Auskünfte von der Rezeption ist verlass. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, besonders auch wegen seiner günstigen Lage.

The hotel is located just 5 minutes walk from the central station of Hamburg. Another 5 minutes and you are in the Europa Passage with lots of cafés and shoppingpossibilities. I'm impressed what you get, when you think of the price you're paying (not much). Service at the hotel is great, staff is great and the rooms are great too.

God beliggenhed tæt på centrum (10 minutters gang). Hyggelig gade med mange spisesteder lige rundt om hjørnet.

Synes ikke hotellet levede op til sine 4½ stjerner.

Vi tog afsted på week end til "½ price offer" (72 Euro/nat) hvilket er helt fantastisk. Nyt flot hotel, tæt på metro med parkering i kælderen.

Dejligt, rent og roligt hotel centralt beliggende. Vi bruger det igen næste gang vi skal til Hamburg

Hotelelt er nyt og flot designegnet i en tjekket og moderne stil. på trods af det morderne 'look' er der en hyggelig stemning og atmosfære på hotellet, hvor mange sad i den smarte bar. Personalet er meget venlige og hjælpsomme - og genialt med friske æbler på værelset hver dag. Et hotel man kun kan anbefale til dem, der vil bo godt, lækkert og centralt.

Die Lage des Hotels in St. Georg ist zwar vom Umfeld her nicht so schön, aber man ist zu Fuß in fünf min am Hauptbahnhof und die UBahn Station ist gleich um die Ecke. Zimmer und Service waren sehr gut, Fitness und Wellnessbereich in der siebten Etage mit Blick auf Hamburg. Einzig das Frühstück ist mit siebzehn Euro sehr teuer, aber dafür gibt es gleich gegenüber einen Lidl! Insgesamt eine top Lage, super Komfort und ein tolles Preis Leistungsverhältnis! Würden jederzeit wieder das Hotel buchen.

The hotel was really nice, clean rooms, comfortable beds (quite firm, but nice) and a friendly stuff- everything worked fine! It´s a lilltle walk from the main railway-station and not in the direction towards the sight-seeings e.g. Speicherstadt) and city. Thew railway-station is about 10 minutes walk away, and the airport-bus is also there. We didn´t eat breakfast at the hotel, but it is easy to find small breakfastplaces nearby the hotel.

Es war ein super schönes Zimmer, mordernes Design, sehr zentral und sehr ruhig.

Exzellentes Hotel, nur die Lage bzw. das direkte Umfeld passt nicht zum Niveau des Hotels. Dafür kurze Anbindung an die City.

jederzeit wieder!

Ik had niet verwacht deze kwaltiteit voor deze prijs te ontvangen. Bij aankomst werden we al leuk en vriendelijk geholpen. De kamers waren buitgewoon luxe (flatscreen en dvd speler) en daarnaast een buitgewoon wellness centrum. Alles nieuwer dan nieuw! Echt een tophotel!

es gibt nichts am Hotel zu bemängeln. Einzig das Parkhaus und das, auch sehr gute Frühstück, sind meiner Meinung nach zu teuer. Aber man kann auch sehr gut nach kutzem Fußmarsch ausserhalb Frühstücken

Das Hotel ist erst neu eingeweiht worden, deshalb sehr modern eingerichtet. Sehr viel Comfort, nicht nur im Zimmer. Seht viel Service, auch in der Lounge, Internetzugang, im Zimmer. Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend!!

Super Service, Freundliche aufmerksame Bedienung, immer freundliches Personal, Zimmerasustattung gut, sehr angenehmes Erscheinungsbild des Hotels.
