Old fashioned hotel, toilet seat had a yellow stain, community items, community bathroom, steam heated shower. Home made breakfast by keeper was good.

I booked this BnB although there were no pictures or reviews. It was a short drive (no taxis)to the inner harbor (a plus), but the owner needs to work on customer service and presentation. Several times the owner got a snippy attitude. Additionally, the place was very dusty, there were moldy, dead roses in vases, the bed was rickety, and cleaning products blocked the shower. The doorbell did not work so when we returned in the evening we waited in the cold until we banged and yelled through the mailbox opening for her to let us in. Breakfast was not ready at the requested time (I believe she woke up after we did) and she didn't even have orange juice. The owner lives in the BnB, and I felt no efforts were made for our stay. It was like bumming a room at a friend of a friend's house.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone! When I arrived at the location I couldn't even find the place because there is no sign indicating any type of buisiness outside. Once I found the correct address the front door was locked. I rang the bell. No one answered. I had to call for someone to let me in. When the woman answered the phone she was very unfriendly and rude. I asked her where we check in and she replied by saying "who are you?". I told her I had a reservation and she asked when I was checking in. I told her "right now", so she asked me if I was standing outside. A few minutes later she finally opened the door and immediately stopped me from coming in. She made me show her proof of my reservation. She walked through the entrance to a living room area. There were personal belongings and mail all around the front door. The woman told my friend and I to have a seat on the couch. It was a white couch, but by no means clean. The place was cluttered with stuff. There was no decorative organization to any of the art work. A lot of the "decorative items" were dirty and there were more personal belongings scattered in the living area. She went back into the kitchen saying she had to go clean our room because someone had just left. She came out of the kitchen with a mouth full of food and made her way upstairs. At this point, I realized this was a one person circus. There was one woman who played receptionist, maid, and later I found out she was also the cook! Originally we had called the hotel to see if we could check in early because we were trying to make a baseball game. She said that would be fine, but when we got there 45 minutes after she said our room would be ready it was still not clean. We waited about 20 minutes before she finally came back down. She told us to go up the stairs until we saw an open door and that was our room. We made our way up the first fligh
