UR Portofino - Palma de Mallorca

Hotel was kind enough to upgrade us after we were placed in a room that was on the first floor to one on the fourth floor with a great view of the ocean. Though the rooms are small, they are decorated very nicely, modern design. The foyer is all modern design furniture as well, and the hotel has a nice pool. For what's considered a two-star hotel, it far exceeded expectations. Glad I chose it over other ones.

The hotel is well located for Ciudad Jardin, about €15 by taxi to central Palma or €1.25 by bus, with the bus stopping about 400m away and the beach less than 100m. The hotel has two buildings with a pool, restaurant and bar all of which appeared to be recently refurbished. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are a bit small, in some cases they've not been refurbished very well - the shower head was just about hanging on to the wall in my room. However for the price paid this hotel is a bargain and caters well for business and tourist visitors alike.

I booked this hotel for its close proximity to the airport after reading many reviews and also looking at its position to the end of the runway for Palma Aiport. Overall, it was clean and well presented, be it the room we had was small and in an annex the other side of the pool. Not a problem, however, we had a room on the gorund floor which we did not realise was above a "Piano Bar" which was open till past 2:30am!!! When I enquired the next morning, I was told it was insulated for noise, not a lot!!! Anyway, apart from having only a few hours sleep, the staff were very attentive and helpful, it was clean and we ate in the restaurant and the food was good, probably cheaper to eat elsewhere, but we enjoyed it.

keine typische Touribettenburg ,Zimmer sehr klein aber dafür sehr neu und sauber hatten Superiopzimmer im 3.og Superblick aufs meer und teilweise die bucht von Palma . Von 6.00-23.00 startet alle 2min ein flugzeug ,anfangs ungewohnt stört aber nach einer Weile nicht mehr.Palma nur 7KM kann mann an der Promenade mit dem Fahrrad Fahren .Strand gleich vor dem Haus ,Parken ums Hotel mit "Smart " immer möglch.Alles modern sauber und Freundlich.
