Motel Blu - Miami Shores

I was kept up several nights when the mouse would sneak into my room and begin rummaging through my food.

I was a little skeptical upon arriving at Motel Blu because of reviews I had read on the internet. Upon arriving I found the service desk nice and helpful, the room looked newly renovated and was clean. The only problem I ran into was that there was no hot water in the shower. There is a security guard on duty which was nice. Parking very limited in front but more parking around the back. Overall I had a very comfortable stay at Motel Blu.

Everything was ok ! I recommend it !

I enjoyed my 2-day stay at the hotel. It was conveniently located at the Kennedy Causeway and North Biscayne Boulevard. The only thing is that the wi-fi signal strength wasn't the greatest. But staff was friendly and there were a lot of eating options around as well. Newly renovated and the whole neighborhood is undergoing some improvements, so I think it will only get better. Neighborhood can still get a bit dicey if you walk toward the residential end a block away from the shops, but otherwise everything is great. And cheap!

Although the neighborhood was somewhat questionable, the motel had security at night and was very clean.

I was late arriving to my motel location by three to four hours. They lady at the front desk made sure I got room for my guest and I. Thank you..

The hotel clerks were not friendly at all nor did they know any information about the area, such as if there was an IHOP in the area. The room had a big cockroach in the closet, the bathroom sink didn't even work. I waited til the next day when i got to my next destination to take a shower, it disgusted me to take a shower in that place, much less walk bare foot. There was no phone nor a phone book in the room, had to call long distance on my cell phone to order a pizza from a flyer in the lobby. There is a gentlemen's club right next door with a big neon light flashing "girls girls girls" . If all you want is just a bed to sleep in then this is a good place for you. If you want a place where you can relax and feel comfortable and not feel like you will be mugged when you step out your door then this is not a place for you.

Was good because was the cheapest option in Miami. The worst was that every thing seems to be very old and very used. When we arrive we didn´t no any thing about Miami and the neighborhood was very scaring.

Pretty pricey for the room.

While in a rough neighborhood, is very secure and safe. The rooms were spotless and very clean--more than we expected for the money. Was perfect and affordable on a fixed budget for our one night stay over in Miami. I have never been able to justify spending hundreds of dollars per night for a bed to sleep in on vacation when most of your time is spent elsewhere. This was extremely clean for the price.

It wasn't a the luxe hotel but, it was ok.next time I will chek the miami beach area hotels.For the same price you get a nice hotel in collins st.

Although we got to the motel late in the afternoon our rooms were still not cleaned and then not properly. We watched as our tile floors were mopped with a filty mop repeatedly being dumped into what looked like muddy water. The implements to maintain motel rooms were not shown in any respect. I realize that it is being remodeled but no television remote is a little out of the question, especially in every room. Thankfully this was just a stop over before our cruise. Something really does need to be done! The male receptionist, however was very friendly and hospitable.

at night time its scary just to cross the street. and if you do go outside act crazy.

Very nicely decoreted, comfortable rooms. Have no in room phone , so it's the perfect place to relax and unwind without interruptions. Very friendly, respectful staff. Close to nice, but affordable restaurants. It was very laid back and supprisingly quiet, even though there were no vacancies. Loved it. Was perfect for my situation.

Hi, we needed an hotel to stay over for a flight to Mexico and found this motel. The motel is located to the north and it was (during the whole night) guarded by a night watch. Lucky for us due to the fact that our room couldn't be properly locked ! The room curtains had big brown stains. We still don't know what it was ;) On our return trip through Miami we will find something closer to the airport. Paying a bit more money for a good night rest is worth the money. The nightguard though is a good guy.

Motel was very charming, prices were fair and location was ideal. Houesekeeping was lacking...totally forgot to do our room.

No room service. We stayed 2 nights. There is no one cleaning the room. The toilet was blocked, and they left me a plunger to fix it by myself.

no phone, no remote for tv

the room was cute. all new paint and stuff. front gate was great.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht (Zwischenstopp) hier verbracht, dafür ist es in Ordnung, aber nicht empfehlenswert für einen längeren Aufenthalt, da es an einer grossen Strasse liegt und mitten in "Little Haiti", was nicht die sicherste Gegend Miamis ist. Die Zimmer sind renoviert und sauber, der Pool auch.
